I’ve had a great experience at Dalhousie Family Chiropractic & Massage Clinic! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles—Shawna and Alicia at the front desk are always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really sets the tone for the visit.
Dr. Jerry Smuszko , the lead chiropractor, is very professional and knowledgeable. He takes the time to listen and tailor treatments to your specific needs. I always feel like I’m in good hands. Dr. James Grant is also fantastic—attentive, skilled, and genuinely cares about patient well-being.
Overall, the clinic provides a professional, supportive, and comfortable environment. I highly recommend Dalhousie Family Chiropractic & Massage Clinic to anyone looking for quality care and a team that truly puts patients first!

Nick is fantastic at what he does. I booked an appointment with him on a whim a year ago with their new client promotion and have never looked back. Not only are his massage skills incredible, but he’s a great conversationalist, super personable, and really takes an interest in his clients. You can tell he cares and wants to make sure your needs are met by the end of every session. I come in every now and again when I feel the need, and always leave feeling calm, relaxed and tension free!

I began seeing Dr. Jerry a few months ago due to back pain and sciatica pain. Since then, I’ve experienced incredible relief, this is the best I’ve felt in two years. Dr. Jerry is truly phenomenal. Huge thank you to him I feel like I can live my life again without being in pain ALL the time. Also the entire staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I’m incredibly grateful for this office!

Since December I was experiencing acute pain in the leg but cannot find out any reason to cure / prevent it on my own. The professional diagnosis and alignment are very helpful for me and the intensity of frequency of pain is reducing. Dr. James explained theories clearly and always performs alignment with care. Shawna and Alicia are always welcoming. Nick has got wonderful massage skills too!

Dr. Grant is awesome, asking with all the other office staff. They are very friendly and thorough in everything they do. Love that xrays are party of the program to ensure the right treatments are delivered and to be able to see proof of progress over time. I've been to a lot of different chiros over the years and appreciate the structured approach they take here even if it does cost more.... results speak for themselves!! Highly recommend.

I stared going to see Dr Grant a month or so ago. I was most interested in getting x-rays done plus the spine scan. It was very reveealing and confirmed where my problem areas were. I have been seeing Dr Grant ever since. Easy to book the appointments and friendly reception staff. I also treated myself to a massage with Nicholas. It too was wonderful and relaxing. I would highly recommend them.

This entire clinic is fantastic. I've been to more than 15 different chiropractic clinics over the past decade, and quality of care definitely ranges widely. The staff at Dalhousie Family Chiro will definitely take great care of you. The receptionists are incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. Similarly, Dr. Jerry is personable, and both incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his field. Can't recommend them enough!
