Customer Reviews
This was my first time doing an escape room and it absolutely exceeded expectations! The staff were fantastic—they clearly explained the rules and helped set the tone for a super fun and immersive experience. We chose the Harry Potter & The Hunt for the Dark Lord room, where our group had to sneak back into school to solve the mystery of how to defeat the Dark Lord. The theme was spot-on and the puzzles were challenging enough to keep us on our toes, but not so hard that it got frustrating. We loved that unlimited hints were available (though we only needed a couple).
One of the coolest surprises was the themed drink menu—each room had its own set of drinks, and there were plenty of non-alcoholic options too, which was great for those in our group who don’t drink. Just a small heads-up: there are a few jarring moments (like loud noises), but nothing too intense.
All in all, an incredibly fun and memorable experience. We managed to escape with just 1 minute and 30 seconds to spare!! Can’t wait to come back and try another room!

Wow, wow! I’ve never had an experience like this one before! Cool drinks, awesome vibe, and so many twist and turns in the room! Exceptional experience!
Chelsey Greene (☆ 5/5)

We did the Jurassic Park escape room and it was a genuinely good time. Definitely a bit run down and some of the props are falling apart. The vibes of the place feels more like a bar/lounge where they want you to sit and drink and spend money before your escape room, they even offer optional shots half way through your escape room. There were a few cool puzzles but very padlock heavy. Overall the set design was still very cool and would recommend trying it out. It’s a bit pricey (4 people at Trapped was $135, here it was almost $200 and they asked us for a tip with no option to skip). For that price I expected more in terms of production design, puzzle intricacy and immersion.
Marcus Halberstram (☆ 3/5)

What a fun experience! We did «The Dark Order» escape room for a bachelorette and had a blast. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The cocktails were also delicious. Definitely come here!
Lindsey P (☆ 5/5)

Went here to celebrate a birthday and it was great! The host was friendly and helpful. They have a bar and snacks if you want to hang out before your locked room. The room itself was very well done – the decor was perfect and the clues made sense. We are already planning our return so that we can try out a couple of their other themes, and can’t wait for them to fully open their macleod location to check that out too!
Ashley Rowlands (☆ 5/5)

We did the Friends themed room, it’s great! Looks like the girls apartment, very well constructed. The staff are super friendly, competent and helpful. I hope to do the wizard themed rooms next time. You can gets drinks here before or after your game too.
Victoria Bryant (☆ 5/5)

We checked this place out and booked the Mando Room. When we entered, we were welcomed and greeted by super friendly staff. We ordered some drinks that required staff to provide some smoke effects. He went and gave us the smoke effect for the bottled of water we ordered as well haha! That was funny and service was excellent.
The Mando Room was awesome. Staff give good hints without giving it fully away. You still work at it even with the hints. We were unsuccessful this time but we had a blast. We can’t wait to try the other rooms. Those are quality escape rooms.

Had a great time at Trapped Calgary! The staff was super friendly, and the room was creative, challenging, and a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be back for another round. Highly recommend!
Our game master was super funny and really added to the experience. We played the Carnival room, and it had the perfect balance of being challenging, solvable, and just the right amount of scary! An awesome experience all around.
Special thanks to Darcy, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we had a great customer experience from start to finish. Really appreciated the extra care and hospitality!
BeyondTheProduct (☆ 5/5)

We were a group of 4 and we had SO much fun!!! It was our first escape room, so we started off with Room 057, and decided to return later in the evening because of Rafael (so sorry if this is not how you spell it), to do the Carnival Room!!! He was AMAZING and really brought the escape room to life. He was our favorite guide, and we will 100% request him next time we visit. SO much energy and fun and just good vibes. Also, we got a discount since we came back again which was a super nice and a generous surprise. Thank you again and we can’t wait to come back and try to difference experiences 🙂

Came here for my boyfriends birthday and it was good. I do feel that the price is a bit high and the rooms definitely need updating. Felt very gimmicky in certain spots and the difficulty rating I found wasn’t true to the puzzle. For a group of 6 people their medium difficulty room was harder than that.
Marlayna Vogel (☆ 4/5)

This was my first time visiting Trapped and we had a blast! We went for my birthday and did the Jack The Ripper escape room. I booked the room a month in advance through the Trapped website and it was incredibly easy to do. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was amazing!! It was everything we wanted it to be, terrifying, thrilling and fun! You can also get a shot of alcohol before, during or after the game which I think is such a neat touch! We got the «Jack the Ripper» inspired shot after the game which was super yummy. We were allowed unlimited hints which was super helpful, the room was tough but not impossible! Cannot recommend this place enough, I know I’ll definitely be back for more! Thank you for the awesome experience, Trapped!
Anastasia (☆ 5/5)

I have always loved this place! They have so many rooms with so many different themes! I just did the ‘Jack The Ripper’ room for my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing!! We may not have finished but it was so ridiculously fun and scary!
Would definitely recommend! I plan to hopefully do more rooms for my birthdays later
Erynn McCrae (☆ 5/5)

We recently visited Trapped for my daughter’s 13th birthday party, and it was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and excited. They were friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do — which made all the difference. They even tailored a few little details inside the room to make the birthday girl feel extra special, which meant a lot to us. They also helped with the party room set up and clean up, which we really appreciated.
As a parent, I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday party experience. I can’t recommend Trapped enough. We’ll definitely be back!
Chantal Gagnon-Weis (☆ 5/5)

Visited for a friend’s birthday and had an amazing time! The puzzles were challenging and cleverly designed, and our game master was fantastic. It was my first escape room experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. The location was perfect too, plenty of great spots nearby to grab a bite or a drink afterward.

Hide N Seek provides a fantastic space for children to engage in playful activities. The layout is well-designed, featuring dedicated areas catering to various age groups, ensuring all children can find something entertaining. The focus on creating a safe and clean environment really allows parents to relax and watch their children enjoy themselves, and it’s clear they prioritize a pleasant experience for everyone. Kid-friendly entertainment is abundant.

My family celebrated my daughter’s birthday party last Friday. This place has the best deal and is least busy. My guests and their kids had a great time playing in the playground and arcade sides. Thank you Hide & Seek staff!
Khoi Nguyen (☆ 5/5)

We celebrated our son’s 6th birthday here, and even though the place was bustling with multiple parties and parking was quite full, the experience was still fantastic. The busy atmosphere didn’t affect the service at all. Everything was well-organized, the food arrived on time, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout.
The kids had a great time playing and jumping around, and the venue was clean, lively, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome.
Overall, a wonderful experience. We’d definitely recommend it for a fun and stress-free celebration!
Amrinder Singh (☆ 5/5)

We have been coming here since 2018, and never had a negative experience. This place is great for kids! Both of my kids absolutely love the fun, and can spend hours.
Staff is great to deal with as well.
Decent food too. Birthdays have been amazing!
Sometimes it does get a bit crowded so mindfulness of time is good to consider.
Hassan Amin (☆ 5/5)

Nice that you pay only for the kids but can still enter to supervise them. Lots of unique features on the playground. I’d say 6-8 is the ideal age range for what’s here. There’s food available, we tried some of the Asian offerings and they were ok. Pizza looked good but I think it’s pricey. They say no outside food or drink allowed but we brought water and snacks and no one bothered us.
Bradley van Middelkoop (☆ 4/5)

I’ve been there twice and it’s a great place to go with kids. Baby’s and toddler’s areas are small but it’s a great place especially for kids 2.5 years and older. It’s not pricey and the food is good as well.
Janette Alle (☆ 5/5)

This indoor playground is so much fun for kids. This place is safe & clean. It is a great place to celebrate kids birthday…they have good birthday party packages. You can spend some hours & you can also buy food from there. There is one baby area , one toddler area too.
This place is always very busy. Staffs are helpful. There is plenty of parking over there.
Poulami Ghosh (☆ 4/5)

I have been bringing the kids here for about 7 years, and I love it! I am so happy they made it through the covid years. It has plenty of space for parents to sit, free internet, I can plug my laptop and work while the kids run wild =D. They have gluten free options in the menu. And the service is always nice. I do like to come when know there will be less people. It can be nuts on rush times. The staff are great! Friendly and nice =)

Customer Reviews
The staff were friendly, the room design was cool, and the puzzles were creative. Unfortunately we had two technical issues during the game. Though we noticed one during the game and the game master came in and fixed it, we didn’t get extra time on the clock and we ended up failing with just a couple puzzles left. I’m not positive that we would have beaten the room without the issues, but as it is I don’t think we got to play the game as it was intended.
Abby (☆ 3/5)

Great experience! We brought family from out of town and they had a blast. Staff is very kind and the room we did was challenging enough without being overly complicated and unsolvable. Would recommend!
Roupam (☆ 5/5)

Really fun with complex puzzles and riddles. Me and my kids did the quest for Excalibur one as first timers and couldn’t finish it but the staff let us stay until we finished. Would recommend and would revisit if I’m in Calgary.
Abdul Rauf Haseen (☆ 5/5)

Me and the lads came here for the hardest room: The Quizzler’s Revenge. It was super challenging and had built great tension, making it a fun night out. And when we didn’t finish, they gave us extra time just so we could complete it. The staff there were also phenomenally helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun activity with friends.

Took my nephew for the Game Over locked room. I just have to say the staff there was amazing. My nephew struggled at first with the whole idea of the room, but staff was so helpful and kind as he eased into the idea. Eventually he ended up having a great time and really enjoyed the experience. Staff was also awesome when we needed hints and were quite comical. A really great experience overall and the room was great fun. Thank you to the NE Locked Room crew!
Natalie G (☆ 5/5)

We went to The Locked Room as a team building exercise for work. We had a lot of fun. Going in I thought it was going to be like a haunted house or scary, but it wasn’t scary at all! I would like to come back with friends or family soon

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did ‘The Big Picture’. It was a difficult level and was very challenging.

This was our first time here and it was a lot of fun. The food was better than I expected as well. I thought the staff was doing great with all of the birthday parties and chaos. It is easy to have sensory overload at this place, even when in the dining area but it is also a fun atmosphere.
Jerrilyn Alonso (☆ 5/5)

Went with friends on a Friday evening and had fun. It was a generally a good experience. But it didn’t help that at some point, our server went MIA.
I had the spicy chicken burger and it was just okay, not spicy.
Tola Abegunde (☆ 4/5)

It’s definitely a dope place to go with the right company, and with a good selection of games, you can melt the stresses of life away!
The prizes to choose from are kinda «babied-out» But it’s time to live our childhood right ✅️
Auguste, D. (☆ 4/5)

It’s a good spot for authentic arcade experience. The variety of games and experiences available are updated, keeping things fresh and exciting.
The staff aren’t really nice nor helpful, but I get it being around screaming children all day. The food is overpriced for the quality.
Chloe C (☆ 3/5)

Loved the goat cheese and pear dip. The wings were quite good as well. I wish the poutine had peeled potatoes in it, though… The arcade part is also cool, the kids seemed to enjoy it.

I liked going to play, also the food is good, the cocktails are delicious. The prices are good, you can play with 20 dollars for 160 tokens it’s a good place to hang out with your friends. I want to highlight the attention of the waiters, they have been very kind people to explain the menu and the system of chips to play, very friendly

I had family in town and we decided to try Apartment 103 – Chapter Two – A Mother’s Love. The staff was GREAT and we had such a fun evening! We managed to escape with barely any time left. It was challenging, but we loved every minute!!! I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
Jane Gorra (☆ 5/5)

We decided to do this last minute since it was a rainy day and are very glad that we did! It was a fun room and the staff was amazing! From the time we entered the facility, to reviewing all of the locks (who knew there were so many different types!), helping us when we got stuck and congratulating us when we «escaped» with 5 seconds on the clock! Check it out, they’re great!!
B (☆ 5/5)

Held a birthday party for my daughter here and it was such a great experience from start to end. To start the staff I spoke with to plan it were so helpful – and I must have called them 3 times to go over everything. Then while there they accommodated 16 screaming girls politely and professionally and with so much patience. The venue was perfect, we used 4 rooms and the kids had a blast, although some got very scared at times! but the fun kind of scared. After the party they couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was. The party room was perfect for pizza and cake and the staff were so accommodating and didn’t rush us at all and went above and beyond to help and provide anything we needed. 5 stars by far. They also were very accomodating about headcount and only charged us for the number of players that came. I heard some of the kids say after they want to have their birthdays there so you may see us again soon 🙂
Fahreen Damji (☆ 5/5)

Our experience at Level 1 was underwhelming. We completed Apt 103 in just over 30min with a group of 4, only myself being rather experienced in escape rooms.
The room was quick and easy, so quick I was actually looking for the next step and not realizing we’d finished the room. There was no real indication that we’d reached the end of the room. There was a door sized cut out in the final space leading me to think the room carried on but in fact, it was just damage to the wall? There were several other spots of damage as well that had just been covered with a piece of paper rather than being properly repaired.
This rood advertises itself as horror themed and the host indicated that while there were no live actors, there were still jump scares. Nothing jump scare occurred in our play through despite it being clear where there should’ve been something happening.
The puzzles are all lock based. Key, number, letter, combination, and directional. No duplicates of the same lock in the same space so it’s easy to know which code unlocks what.
I will say, the clues via riddle on an iPad in the room is a nice feature. It allows players to get help when stuck without feeling like it’s cheating or breaking the theme of the room with a host coming in. The clues don’t outright tell you the answer and still require a degree of thought to get help.
Evan Ashdown (☆ 2/5)

We took 2, 10 year olds and an 8 year old (his first escape room) to try the rise of Ra room. The staff was excellent at explaining the nature of the locks and explaining the room putting the youngest kid at ease. Had a great experience and the kids are eager to try another room in the future.
Kirstin Walker (☆ 5/5)

By far my favourite escape room location so far. Me and my bestie have been almost every weekend to try and finish all the escape rooms. The clues are great. The staff is ammmmmazing, so funny- always helpful and they
always lead a helping hand when needed. The younger guys are funny and great with the pre story. Amazing game play- so fun!!!!
So far we did 3 of them at that location and we hiiiiggghhhhllly recommend the vault and chapter one mothers love ( we are doing chapter 2 next ). ( least fav was the rise of the ra )
Thank you to the older gentleman for explaining something we missed and giving us a few extra needed minutes in the vault You guys are the best and i can’t wait for newer escape rooms to conquer at this location. Keep up the great work
Lindsay (☆ 5/5)

we just finished with the escape room, my friend thought she booked the inside job but it didnt went through (not the management’s fault) so we had to choose a differ one. we did the apt 103, im a big scaredy cat which is why i was hesitant at first and although it was scary, it was actually fun and engaging.
the staffs are very approachable. i highly recommend this place. def gonna come back to finally do the inside job.

We have been a few times, and couldn’t have loved our escape room experiences more! Incredible hosts, the details in the rooms are outstanding – we literally gasped at some things – and the puzzles were really fun. My kids, my husband and I, AND my parents had the best time. This is our favourite escape room place to go!
Kerri-Lynn Burns (☆ 5/5)

It was my first time going to an escape room and the staff were so friendly. We did the dollhouse escape room and while it was scary and full of screams, the room was very well-planned and put together. We didnt finish the room because we kept screaming but overall, would definitely recommend! Abby helped us and she was wonderful! She even offered to take pictures of us after for keepsakes!
Franz Anday (☆ 5/5)

Me and my friends really enjoyed this place. We went spontaneously and not knowing what to expect but when Jess and Wren greeted us with so much energy we knew we went to the right place. We planned to do 1 room and ended up doing another one right after just because we really enjoyed it and they were hyping us so much we needed to do another one. Will definitely come back to do the other rooms. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to have a fun escape room experience. Thank you Jess and Wren!!! You guys are the best

Arcadian Adventures is a solid escape room location with some really enjoyable puzzles. We had a great time working through their rooms, and the staff were absolutely amazing—super friendly and enthusiastic. We’ve heard they’re building a new location, and we’re definitely excited to see what they come up with next. Looking forward to returning!

An amazing experience all around!! I had to reschedule initially cause I got sick and they were so accommodating and understanding. The escape room itself is very well designed. Difficult puzzles but not impossible leaving you feeling accomplished and joyful. Our host, Abby explained the rules very clearly and her storytelling really immersed us into the story. Would recommend 10/10!

Arcadia is one of my favourite places to do escape rooms. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our host Jess was great at explaining and funny. We did the s.s. Allami and I would recommend. Also this place is a family owned business so we love to support local! Definitely coming again 🙂

Amazing experience. Was here for a birthday party. They were very helpful and understanding.
My only criticism is location. Some people had issues finding the place. You have to enter the main doors and go down a flight of stairs.
But once in, the fun begins!!!!
Thanks so much for the wonderful party! Maybe my son will have his party here.

Came for my son’s 8th birthday party and it was so much fun! I’ve been to a few of these escape rooms but this place was hands down the best! Jay was so fun and you could tell she enjoys her job. I loved that they gave us extra time to solve the puzzle! Thanks so much for a great time, we all of left happy with the feeling of accomplishment

I had so much fun with my group of friends. Connor was so kind and maintained this exciting energy for us and I am very grateful. The room we did was very scary and eerie.. it was so thrilling and the puzzles were difficult in some parts but it’s really easy to figure out once you solve one clue because they all lead to the other hints unlike some other escape rooms that have hints that don’t link up to each other..
Marissa (☆ 5/5)

We had a great time completing the Haunted Hall room. Spooky ambiance and interesting puzzles. Had no issues with any fiddly locks or sensors. Will definitely try their other rooms.

We’ve completed all of the rooms at Exit Escape Room, and each one was well thought out and enjoyable. While the tech used is a bit dated compared to some other escape rooms, it didn’t take away from the fun or the quality of the puzzles. The staff were always friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.
Just a heads-up—there are no food or drink options available on-site, so plan accordingly before you arrive. Overall, a solid escape room experience worth checking out!

I just recently did the «Prehistoric Park» room and it was great! I did it with one other person and we made it out with less than 2 hints. I would definitely recommend this room, it was so much fun!! Thank you so much to Mike for the experience!!
Claire Hastings (☆ 5/5)

Had an amazing time at the escape room! The puzzles were challenging, creative, and really well thought out. It kept our whole group engaged from start to finish. A special shoutout to Mike for his outstanding service—he was friendly, helpful, and really added to the overall experience. He made sure we were comfortable, gave clear instructions, and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great group activity, and definitely ask for Mike!

It was absolutely amazing!
First of all, I have to say how incredible the staff were. The man who took care of us was cheerful, fun, and incredibly kind. The woman at the front desk and another man we passed in the hallway also greeted us with warm smiles. Their service was, to say the least, perfect.
We tried two rooms in one day, and both were incredibly creative—we were so excited and had nonstop fun.
If you’re hesitating, just go—it’s absolutely worth it. The only downside is that after experiencing this escape room first, other places in the city might feel less exciting. haha I highly recommend it!

Have attended many escape rooms in Calgary and thoroughly enjoyed this one! One of my favorites so far. We completed a two-person room (the only two-person escape experience I know of) and had an absolute blast of a time.
Puzzles were well-balanced and intuitive, while challenging enough to keep us immersed for the entire session. The flow of the room we participated in was very smooth and we were never at a loss for what to do next. The presentation and story-telling of this escape room was absolute *chef’s kiss*.
Room quality was excellent. The design and construction was top-notch and we could see that every element was constructed with care. There were no elements that broke immersion nor distracted from the story of the room.
Customer service was excellent. The owner was exceedingly friendly and very social. We could see his enthusiasm and passion for all of his escape room concepts and felt right at home from the moment we stood at the front counter.
100% would recommend!

Brought my husband here for his birthday to complete the two-person escape room and we had so much fun! Minimal spoilers, but I loved the setting for this room (a converted RV). The puzzles were creative and made surprisingly good use of the two-person set up. The staff’s passion for escape rooms was very infectious, and their excitement definitely improved the experience 🙂 Will be coming back to try their other rooms for sure!

We did Shrine as a team of three and it was very wow!!! I’ve done dozens of escape rooms in the past and nothing quite compares to this room. Hands down the most visually stunning room I’ve ever seen at an escape facility. Cute sound design, too. The themed props were also very impressive. The effort that went into designing this room was obvious from the start. The non-linear pathing made cooperation very intuitive. The puzzles were largely quite satisfying, not too easy yet not frustratingly difficult. Zelda fans will love this room. Non-Zelda fans will love this room. I love this room. Thank you for the very cool experience!!
Lucia Nguyen (☆ 5/5)

We’ve done quite a good number of escape rooms in lots of different cities and Escape Ops is definitely top notch! We have done the Shrine and Cognition rooms (which is sadly leaving soon) and both were amazing! Great Game masters, puzzles were the right amount of challenge and decor is great!! Highly recommend!!

My 12yo daughter and I did the dynamic duo room as a Mother’s Day treat. It was a super fun and unique room, and we loved how we had to work together to solve the puzzles. Staff were incredibly friendly and fun. We will be back!

We had so much fun at the Mythical Creatures escape room, it was exciting
We visited with two kids (ages 8) and four adults.
There are three(2base actually )rooms to escape from, which made it challenging. The staff was super friendly and gave us extra time when we couldn’t finish, so we unlocked the last room and escaped! They take your phones, so there’s no way to cheat, which keeps it fair and fun.
Liia (☆ 5/5)

We brought a group of 11-12 year old boys for a birthday party. They did the Great Train Heist and had a fantastic time. They needed hints but that didn’t take any fun out of it. Definitely would be difficult enough for adults. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, their support and enthusiasm added to the experience. Definitely recommend for any age. We are already working on choosing the next room to try.
Kristina (☆ 5/5)

The room was very fun and it was difficult but we knew that going in. I was there with my friends and there was this staff member who yelled at my friend because she closed an door where you could’ve just stuck your arm through to unlock (cause it didn’t have a lock on it) with some people inside and he threatened to kick us out . She cried after that and it just really ruined the night. I would not recommend going to this location because the staff are just generally rude. I get that she was in the wrong but There was many nicer ways he could’ve said it but instead he yelled. With better staff is would go back because rooms were generally pretty good just horrible staff
Edit: I forgot to mention it was the train escape one. The door did have a lock on it but when the door was shut there was no lock so they could still get out. It was also for a birthday party. Visited on Sunday may 4 2025

The staff were very friendly. The rooms we escaped from had a lot of fun puzzles. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a fun time with friends or family.

We had our son’s birthday party with his friends (8-9yo) there and kids had a blast. Both rooms (Mythical creatures and mission Antarctica) were really good.

Frequently Asked Questions about Escape Rooms in Calgary
What exactly is an escape room?
An escape room is a themed physical adventure game where a team of players is "locked" in a room and must use clues, solve puzzles, and work together to escape within a set time limit, usually 60 minutes. The puzzles often incorporate storytelling, riddles, and interactive elements to create an immersive and engaging experience. It’s essentially a real-life puzzle game.
How many people are allowed in an escape room?
The number of people allowed in an escape room varies by room and specific escape room facility. Most rooms can accommodate between 2 to 8 players, but some larger rooms might allow more. It’s crucial to check the room's capacity before booking to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Smaller groups might find it more challenging.
What is the recommended age for participating?
While there isn’t a strict age limit, most escape rooms recommend ages 12 or older to participate. Some rooms might have specific age restrictions based on the theme and difficulty. Younger participants might require adult supervision or find the puzzles too complex. Many facilities offer rooms designed for families and younger audiences.
How much do escape rooms typically cost?
The cost of an escape room in Calgary typically ranges from around $25 to $40 per person. Prices can vary depending on the room’s theme, difficulty, and the escape room facility. Group discounts are often available, especially for larger parties. Booking during off-peak hours might also result in lower prices.
Do I need any special skills to play?
No, you don’t need any special skills to play an escape room! Escape rooms are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their background or experience. While problem-solving skills and teamwork are valuable, the focus is on collaboration and having fun. It’s more about enjoying the process than being an expert puzzle solver.
What happens if we get stuck?
Most escape room facilities provide clues or hints if a team gets stuck. These clues are usually offered through a system – often a screen or a walkie-talkie – and the number of clues allowed might be limited. The goal is to help teams progress without giving away the entire solution. It’s a way to keep the experience challenging yet achievable.
What should we wear?
There are no strict dress code requirements for playing escape rooms. However, it’s recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow for movement. Some rooms might involve crawling, bending, or other physical activities, so wearing clothes that you don't mind getting slightly dirty is a good idea. Avoid wearing bulky or restrictive clothing.
Can I book an escape room for a private event?
Yes, many escape room facilities in Calgary offer private bookings for birthdays, team-building events, or other special occasions. This allows you to have the entire room to yourself and your group. Private bookings often come with a higher price tag, but they provide a more exclusive and customized experience.
What happens if someone doesn't show up for the booking?
Most escape room facilities have a cancellation policy that addresses situations where someone doesn't show up. Typically, you are still charged the full price for the booking, even if someone is absent. Check the specific cancellation policy of the facility before making a reservation.
How long does the entire escape room experience take?
While the time spent actively solving the puzzles is usually around 60 minutes, the entire experience takes longer. This includes time for check-in, receiving instructions, and a post-game debrief. Plan to spend approximately 90 to 120 minutes at the escape room facility for the complete experience.
