Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre

We loved our stay at this hotel. Someone else said it’s a 3 star hotel with a 5 star rating for everything to do with service, comfort and location etc. Our room was beautiful. Very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners at Beddington’s each day. The staff there was wonderful. They work so hard and were kind and approachable. I’d like to acknowledge Stephanie, Lyne and Brian in particular but a big shout out to all of the staff there including the chefs. A special thank you to the lady who serviced our room. She did a great job. The hotel had terrific parking, was close to the zoo, Heritage Park, and the airport. Thank you

We have stayed here 2 times for a hockey tournament this year. Most recently this past weekend. The staff is exceptional. They provide amazing customer service. I have never known staff to go above and beyond the way this hotel does. Service like this is sadly not seen as much anymore. You can tell they are trained to make the guests happy. The restaurant staff is so kind and accommodating. We asked to move tables, kids and parents were coming and going and they always said "no problem', and helped us to accommodate. They let us parents sit in the lobby in the evening which was very much appreciated. Callum is an excellent GM and has trained his staff to provide the best service making customers like myself very happy.

This is not a Five star hotel; it is a three star hotel with Five star service and accommodation. Room service was fast and hot and tasty, and the women in charge is great. Cleaning staff were very good; the counter staff were professional and helpful, and the meeting rooms comfortable. The meals we had were fantastic. I’d be happy to come here again. If you do come, you’ll get a kick out of the sultry elevator voice when it says, "lobby" 🙂

I stayed here for a week at the end of April 2025. The hotel is in a fantastic location very close and walking distance to shops. T and T market, pharmacies and restaurants are nearby and within walking distance. Parking is lovely and there is no charge for parking. The hotel provides fruit infused water in the lobby and that is very welcome. My room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The pillows were also comfortable. This hotel provides good quality shampoo and conditioner so you do not have to bring any. They also provide shower cap and other thoughtful amenities . In the kitchenette , there is a mini refrigerator and a microwave and they provide a kettle and a coffee maker with a good choice of tea and coffee selections. The hotel provides a bathrobe and a makeup mirror, which are very welcome . Housekeeping was excellent. They actually clean your room and make your bed every day. This is hard to come by these days in most hotels in North America. The swimming pool and hot tub are lovely but during my stay there were tons of kids and so I was only able to use it twice. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Prachtige lobby en prima restaurant. Mooie grote kamer met 2 queenbedden. Matras was iets te zacht. Dikke dekbed er direct afgegooid. Dop van het bad sloot helaas niet goed af, merkte ik in de ochtend. Verder prima met koffie en thee en magnetron op de kamer. We verbleven hier de laatste nacht van onze vakantie.

I had a great stay! The staff were really wonderful. Good room-service food. Trays removed quickly from halls. Overall, I must say the staff were so friendly and helpful; they really make this property shine.

Très bruyant. On entend les personnes parlées dans le couloir. Même au 5eme étage, les groupes extérieurs de climatisation de la salle de conférence font un bruit important 24/24 obligeant de dormir avec des boules quies. Je rejoints un avis déjà laissé par un autre client. Le petit déjeuner est peu achalandé. Sinon les chambres sont propres et confortables.
