This is a great place for the seniors of Bowness to hang out, socialize, get frisky, who knows what they do when it's past 730p, you know!? But really though, these folks are some of the nicest people you'd ever meet. They have a great space that they'd surely rent to you, have awesome events and they even have a full commercial kitchen on-site for all of those delightful tea parties. Check them out, or better yet, make them a generous donation so they can start offering some coding and robotics classes alongside shuffleboard and ball room. Thanks for everything Bowness Seniors' Centre.

I had a good time & met a lot of ladies at the Senior Tea. They served us lunch... finger sandwiches, dessert & tea or coffee. There were lots of tables to buy homemade treats or homemade goods. We bought tickets for draws, 50/50 & squares....too bad I didn't win but what a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. They have lots of other activities that go on there.

This is a great place to be for +55 there's great pot lucks, awesome brunch buffets, dancing, pool tables, tea and conversation with sandwiches and goodies, piano players, violinists, comraddery jokes storytelling and everyone is respectfully grateful. This is a place where Grace is spoken for each meal and homemade goodies are plentiful. Plenty of parking behind the building in the former Bowness Tennis court..so yes your vehicles are gated and protected too. We love it here! It's a second home. It's safe, convenient and full of extra curricular activities like yoga, lawn bowling, horseshoes, pool, Tai Chi, and much more. Coffee and tea are usually on if you just want to have a quiet place to read or visit. Membership is $15 per year. Bus trips to Rosebud dinner theatre in Rosebud Alberta as well as Christmas Halloween and other special dances! Full time staff are knowledgeable with all kinds of senior citizen information. Very old style community center. The webpage very out of date. I.e membership is $20 in 2022, also any activity: yoga, sport, tai chi is $40/ 6 months/ once a week to join. Some of the instructors teach two classes, some classes more energetic, some more fun! In attendance is 20-30 members/ class, but hallway very specious.
