Well I went to drop off wild animal that did not have its mother anymore. When I called, the young girl that was on the phone with me was wonderful very kind very understanding and was clear with instruction and was patient. It made me feel good, happy and feel secure. It made me feel like this was the right choice and the little animal would get the best teeatment.
When I got there there was another lady there who was very abrupt, a rude, and not very understanding of where I was coming from,it was to the point when the lady wouldn't even bother understanding what I was trying to ask when I was trying to clarify a question that was on the paper when filling out the drop-off form. It made me feel really insecure like I was doing the wrong thing and made me question as to what kind of treatment were the animals getting if this is how I was being talked too , like I was not educated or that I didn't have feelings. I feel like I was being treated as a child or teen ,when I'm a full grown adult in my thirties.
I was not impressed it made me feel like I didn't want to drop off another rescue animal there in my life, I would rather drive another 20 or 40 minutes to another place.
I hope that the treatment that the little life that I gave them is superb, contrary to my experience.

We found a little baby hare being attacked by a magpie. His ear, eye, nose and mouth were injured, so we took him in to the society.
They were very professional, and will take good care of him.

I called in to report a wild rabbit in my neighborhood that appeared to have an injured leg. I spoke with Kylah, the clinic supervisor, and unfortunately, it was one of the most unpleasant interactions I’ve had. She was extremely rude and dismissive, showing no empathy or concern. It honestly felt like she was annoyed that I even called about a rabbit. I was just trying to do the right thing, but her attitude made the whole experience really disheartening.

I have to commend you all for the work you do, it's truly amazing. I really have to talk about Barb who helped me. This lady is so incredible. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and so supportive on helping me to try and help this little fox. She is truly inspiring! She walked me threw everything I needed to do on my part, also stayed in touch with me to encourage me and answer any questions I might have. I am sure you must deal with a lot of negative people in this line of work, but she deserves so much praise. Her love for animals matches my own and it was beyond a pleasure dealing with her. Thank you so much for doing what you do and taking the time to read this.

I took in a little savannah sparrow that I came across unable to fly. I called and spoke to a woman right away and was able to bring in the bird immediately. Wildlife rehabs are such important places that provide critical services and are severely underfunded. If you can, please remember to donate if you bring in an injured or orphaned animal as a small "thank you".

Fantastic job catching a rabbit that snuck into our parking garage. I reached out on a Friday and Barb had come by not long after to set some live traps ensuring the rabbit would have enough food and water. It was released the next day alive and well! We're so grateful to have this wildlife society in Calgary. Keep up the great work!
