We went to Affinity while visiting Calgary. The instructors were wonderful, and the other students were great to train with. For our kids we recommend this gym.

Im a black belt bjj instructor/coach from Philadelphia. I was in Calgary to visit family and was looking for a place to train while I was in town. Coach Avery at the Varsity location was very welcoming and I had a great time training there. The instruction is top-notch and the facility was great. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve had a fantastic time in the tiny ninjas program with my son. We have completed two intakes and it has been superb. The instructors are kind and engaging. My son also loves rolling/wrestling with dad every Saturday morning!

I did a drop-in class today, everyone I met was super friendly and I had some fun rolls. I really enjoyed the style of instruction. I listen to the BJJ Mental Models podcast and it was really cool to experience a class focused on Rob Biernacki’s concept of Alignment. I will definitely come visit again.

I went to Affinity while I was visiting Calgary. The instructors were wonderful, and the other students were welcoming, and great to train with. As a woman, it can be very intimidating going to a martial arts gym, but I would absolutely recommend Affinity to any woman that would like to give BJJ, or kickboxing, a try.
