The owner does a fantastic job at running this place especially during the summer/flagging season. When I showed at 5am, I was sent out on a job.

Recruits such as, Riley, Jas and Larry make the place run as smoothly as possible. Thanks to them I got a good job (and donuts/coffee).

Jobs aren’t guaranteed some days you get work some days you don’t. Free Coffee is nice and they hand out PPE.

I went to register this morning the girl at the front is useless she just sits on her phone doing nothing she didn’t even register my profile. These Clow agency’s are a joke they don’t have work but they tell you to show up, when u got a car and u ain’t making money for the day it pointless. This is what the world has come to your better off looking for a,real job or taking social assistance at least you know your going to get something guaranteed. This is not guaranteed it’s people trying to control you for small pay, don’t waste your time with these clown agency’s. Hello, my name is Michael H. I registered to TIPS and started using their services at the end of November to early December and my experience have been nothing but positive so far.

The staff members I’ve interacted with have always been warm and welcoming when I show up to the office, and often going above and beyond by sending out well wishes which often brighten up my day.

Most importantly they have been providing me with daily employment throughout my limited time with them, and all the companies they have sent me to, the staff were always accommodating.

Would I I recommend TIPS? Absolutely! TIPS services have been very helpful to throughout this winter and if you are considering using TIPS, they can be helpful to you as well. A positive attitude and a willingness to work provide you with a stable short or long term employment.

Honestly, this office helped me a lot during a time when I didn’t have any money and was looking for work everywhere. Then I came across this office, and they went above and beyond to help me find both full-time and temporary work. They’re super organized, reliable, and stick to everything they say. My evidence towards this is the fact that you ask for «current skill with power tools» which is unmistakably disjointed for an «administrative assistant» role. Do not try and spin the tale to the public as if you’re the «good guy» here.

Beware if you apply to them through online job boards: they will keep your file on hand and contact you a month later if you’re still interested in a job. This job, however, is unrelated to the job post that you’ve applied to on a online job board; it is temporary work that their business runs on. This critical and distinguishing information will not be disclosed to you, thus causing you to waste your time and effort in these trying times.

I would not recommend applying to them through Indeed or any job boards as they will farm your resume and use it for other purposes.

I had a very disappointing experience with a counsellor through Prospect. I recently had minor hand surgery and had an online appointment scheduled before I knew about the surgery, as I got in early due to a cancellation. The purpose of the meeting was to tailor my resume to specific job postings. However, as soon as the counsellor saw my splint, she refused to assist with anything.

Even in our previous meeting, she was not very helpful, making a few very vague suggestions. I explained my recovery timeline and restrictions as given by my surgeon, emphasizing that I could still perform tasks despite some limitations, and that the job application process often takes time, meaning I should be mostly or completely healed by the time I might have my first day. I even tried to advocate for myself, talking about practicing tailoring my resume or other job searching skills so I can have the best chance at success even if I am not ready to apply yet, but she dismissed my efforts as a waste of time.

I will take my recovery very seriously, but both my surgeon and I know what is best for my situation. She should have given me a chance and respected me as an adult to trust that I know my limits.

To make matters worse, during our meeting, she answered her phone, which I found very unprofessional and disrespectful. This experience makes me wonder how Prospect treats individuals with disabilities, given how quickly I was disregarded due to a temporary condition. I expected more support and understanding from a service like this. Shame on you.

I am an underemployed mature individual that reached out to Prospect for advice. I expressed when i spoke with the First Gentleman that i did not require someone to help me write a resume i was seeking assistance with professional development skills like upgrading my use of Microsoft Office.He was kind and empathetic in his understanding to the position i find myself. He told me a career advisor would reach out. Sure enough within a 48hour timeframe Caitlin Dillman did reach out via email. Her email was very stern and to the point. She offered a zoom meet on very specific dates and times. A zoom meet that neither corresponds with my schedule nor needs which i let her know. She then offered one available date snd specific time for a one on one. She also told me she would remove me as i was unable to accommodate her. Excuse me this is so unprofessional. Once again i let her know that it doesn’t fit with my schedule. I responded in kind. I am extremely disappointed in a non profit organization that is provincially funded to not exercise empathy and respect to those they say they are trying to serve. Not everyone fits into one box nor has equivalent needs. Schedules need to be to some degree accommodating the individuals that you are being paid to guide. Might i also add that individuals that are coming to your door already are feeling deflated in this ever so challenging environment that many find themselves in and more so our more senior members of society. Prospect should commit to uplifting and working with individuals from various backgrounds and levels where they are. Shame on you for your lack of empathy and compassion to the community that looks to you for assistance.

I’ve been working as a temp for them for three days. It’s been good, and they seem to be the type of company that hustles to get their temp workers a spot, which I appreciate. Notice is short, but that’s temp work. So far so good.

Manpower is a very bad temp agency. I had given them my resume, and for 1.5 weeks I sat in their office for 6 hours with no work being handed out. the only work they handed out were to people who have been using the temp agency for months or years. they say first come first serve, but they actually only hand out jobs to those who constantly use their services. I recommend going to any other temp agency except man power.

To tell someone there is no work but hand out jobs as if it were candy to those who have been using the staffing agency for two years straight is absolute garbage.

As someone looking for a job but also seeking support and advise, I found Manpower an excellent choice. I was told by many job seekers to try Manpower, and very happy I did.
The receptionist was always very nice and cheerful and ready to answer any inquiries. The program facilitators unfailingly accommodated their time for you and made every effort to pass on any job potentials your way. They were extraordinary.
I found the workshops informative and very helpful in applying to my job searches and resumes. I particularly enjoyed group discussions, as we were able to connect with each other, have fun and also help and support each other in a positive way.

Then he stopped answering. I called him a lot. But no answer. I also contacted the office. After a month, I never heard back from the receptionist, who claimed she would forward the message and he will give you a call. Please answer the phone or respond to the email if you don’t have any opportunity. It’s quite unprofessional behaviour.
This one is the first agency where I experienced such behaviour.

It’s a completely useless location as you can never get anyone to answer the phone or be at reception. Whoever’s incharge of this location needs to be investigated. I sat and waited 1 hour and no one was there. If there was he/she never bothered to attend. Why is it even open if you guys aren’t going to be there. It seems to like it’s a front to some illegitimate practices.

This place is absolutely useless. Applied over 2 weeks ago. Went in for an interview. Gave all the references they required, and no answer. Don’t waste you time. If I could 0 stars I would.

Technical been with you guys for over a year I’ve had 1 job that was a week long , Taylor takes months to get back to you in fact it’s been so long I reapplied and he thought I was someone else and than went silent again , can’t seem to get a hold of anyone else in the office I have gone in person and not one person is in the office but is all open

As a courier I was sent here by one of my customers for a pickup. Secretary seemed very polite and asked me to wait at the desk while she went to get someone. After waiting about 5 minutes a gentleman came out and very aggressively. Got in my face saying that he doesn’t know who I am and I shouldn’t be there. So I gave him my name and company name as well as who sent me. He then told me he’s never heard of my company and started demanding to see my ID, saying if I didn’t give it to him he would call the cops. I told him if he has any concerns then he needs to take it up with my customer who sent me there and asked his name so I could tell them who it was I talked to. He refused to tell me that so I left. Very unprofessional treatment of a courier Just trying to do their job. Fortunately my customer seems to agree as I was told they likely won’t be doing any more business with them

I’ve been with Aerotek twice and great experience every time. I feel so grateful to be under the care of Isaiah, Pol and their team recently.
