I enrolled in the Artists Within Virtual Honors Make Up Diploma Program and it has been such a pleasure and joy to be a part of this program. Everything from the instructors to the materials to the flexibility of the program has far surpassed my expectations! I work fulltime, so having the flexibility to have this program essentially tailored around my lifestyle has been deeply appreciated and it's been the path forward for me to be able to pursue this dream I've had for many years. The instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly, as well as helpful and I've had access to the school's owner, which has just enhanced the overall experience even more. I realize how lucky I've been to be able to learn from such exceptional makeup artists and to have fun while going through the program. I highly recommend this program to anyone with a busy schedule like mine, who shares the same passion for pursuing their makeup artistry dreams!

Such a great experience at Artists Within. I just finished the basics program and had Zander as my teacher. He was the most supportive and helpful teacher, he went through everything very thoroughly and always gave his honest opinion to ensure that we had improved by the end of the course. He was such a fun teacher, always showed up with a smile and always made everyone laugh. Definitely a great course to take especially with the amazing teacher.

BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY LIFE! I am forever grateful to Artists Within for allowing me to pursue my passion for fashion and makeup at the age of 38 when I didn't think it was possible! From the first day I went in for a tour, Ashton was so knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and really helped me realize this is what I was meant to do! Erin Fergurson, my incredible instructor guided me through my fashion journey! She is the best in the industry! Her encouragement, support and sharing all her tips and tricks for us to be successful showed me she truly cares about all her students! She introduced us to all the who's who in the industry. To her, I am also forever grateful! It's amazing that a school like this exists in Calgary! My new career is well on its way! I graduated both the hair and makeup program in January of 2018. The teachers are really there to help you succeed and push you to be your best! I’ve gained great connections through my classmates and the academy; I have worked in my field a handful of times on behalf of the academy producing opportunities with their connections. They really do take you under their wing and teach about the industry expectations, and provide scenarios with other industry experts (modelling agencies, photographers and stylists) to teach you in the field skills. I’m very happy with my experience at Artist Within Academy, the credibility that comes with being an alumni can open doors if you apply yourself and are good at your trade.
