Beacon Dermatology

Over the years I've had quite a few medical appointments, be it from sports or accidents, overworking and sicknesses. I must say not only is this place aesthetically pleasing, it seemed wherever I stumbled I ran into someone willing to help with an welcoming bright smile! There are a few corridors on the dermatology floor all neatly organized with every practitioner's area, as I became initially characteristically lost, people who worked in other corridors gladly help me get to the correct one. I have two brutal areas providing horrible skin problems for years not including my ever increasing gargoyle hands. Being I've never seen a dermatologist before I had no idea what to expect. The doctor immediately figured out the direction I needed to go in and treatment within minutes and answered an onslaught of questions with ease! The nurse was outstanding, even though one of the skin areas I didn't leave alone before my appointment and I shamefully picked into oblivion she still somehow with precision accuracy performed a biopsy under my ear overcoming the scab obstacle graveyard I created. I've had many tests, medical procedures and plenty of treatments although this nurse was by far one of the most gentle while performing a task that required steady hand accuracy, compartmentalized within a calm mind. Amazing experience; the Doctors enthusiastic approach to my problem followed up by an ambitious prognosis, the nurses outgoing pleasant kind demeanor paired with her surgical talent, and the different front desk teams that guided me to the right area, provided answers to all of my many questions and got me set up with the forms! Thank you everybody at Beacon Dermatology! I have a feeling every corner of this Dermatology floor is going to yield the same results so I'll avoid using names because it doesn't matter who you get you're going to be treated like you're on vacation by every professional of any kind on that floor . I’ve seen Dr. Poleman 2x. In these 2 appointments she has done more for me than any other dermatologist I’ve seen. She cares and won’t just give up if the treatment isn’t working. Her assistant Alexis is also amazing! She is very responsive and even though I did not have a follow up for 4 months she was able to help me with my insurance documents in order to get covered to start a new medication.

Had a couple of bumps in the road, however everything was resolved in a timely and calm matter. All the concerns and questions I had were answered and feedback was taking into consideration. Dr Andrei was able to take time to call me and explain everything in full detail. Very pleased after all. Clean facilities, easy parking and access along with a knowledgable doctor such as Dr Andrei. Will be back in the future if needed :)!

Dr.Poelman and her nurse assistant were fabulous! They thoroughly checked me over and removed some concerning spots and then removed a bunch if other growths that I found unsightly and have been embarrassed about for a very long time. They were thorough and yet quick and answered every question I had. They were very nice and made me feel very comfortable. The desk attendents were also very pleasant and service oriented. They have a very efficient office at Beacon - nice to see! I would highly recommend them. Thank you all so much for the great service!

I had an issue with my order online and the staff from Beacon Dermatology gave me a great customer service. I was very impressed how quickly they reached out to me and try to help with my issue. I thank them and hopefully my issue will be resolved in the coming days or so.

I see LOTS of Bad reviews and i know why. Susan/ who my wife spoke to, was completely rude and unprofessional when we spoke with her to book our appointment. I called and told the nice man we will not be coming here. Told our physician. She will no longer send patients here. We are the client not the other way around. You lost 4 patients with this one call. Go to charm school and treat clients like people. If your going here, go somewhere else. They aren't the only one in town. We will now go to Papillion instead. Their staff were very kind when I just called. Im so mad but the best way to deal with Susan, is to not go there. Word of mouth goes far. Susan you are terrible. Know that. Glad we didn't go here. YOU Shouldn't either try Papillion or....anyone else!!!!!

All the staff I spoke with were very kind and helpful. It felt like the doctor wanted to get me some answers as badly as I did. I felt heard. Afterwards I went to the pharmacy downstairs where I got a free coffee while waiting for my prescription. Overall a great experience.
