Posh Nail Lounge Calgary

I got almond shaped french tips done here (extension with powder). Prices were a bit confusing on the website. Confirmation email for the booking also made it seem like the cost would be a bit cheaper but I knew the type of nails I wanted would be a bit more expensive ($80 pre-tax). If you are not 100% sure about costs then I'd recommend you call them for clarification. The set was nice, a few of the nails were placed upwards so they stick up. Appointment took about 1.5 hrs. Location is convenient as it's 7-11 min walk from train station.

My first time in Calgary I visited Posh Nail Lounge and it was such a top notch experience. It was relaxing and the service was perfect. I am in LOVE with the results.

I visited this salon for a basic manicure and unfortunately had a very underwhelming experience with the nail technician, Tira. I asked for a simple clean-up, but the results were sloppy—my nails were left uneven, and there was still a lot of dry skin around the edges. I had to repeatedly ask her to remove the dry skin, which should be a standard part of the service. The manicure was rushed and lacked care. It lasted under 15 minutes, which is far from what you’d expect for even a basic treatment. A manicure typically includes a hand massage and some kind of finishing touch like a clear coat or gloss, but all I got was a dab of cream on my hands—no massage, no coating, and no effort to ask if I wanted one. Tira seemed more focused on finishing quickly than doing a good job. I’ve attached a picture of my nails right after the appointment to show the quality (or lack thereof) of the service. Update: There was no coat offered. That is an outright lie. And the the more important thing is the quality of manicure provided which is evident in the pictures attached.

Love this place! First nail salon I tried when I moved to Calgary in January and I’ve been back 3 times now, all the staff are lovely and the nails hold up very well. This time Tira did my nails and she was so sweet and patient doing this beautiful nail art.

Had such a great experience with Tira and Lyn! I went in for a manicure and my sister got nail art – and both of us left super happy. Lyn did my manicure and was so gentle and thorough. She really took her time to shape the nails well, clean up the cuticles, and gave a relaxing finish. My hands feel so clean and refreshed. Tira handled my sister’s nail art, and wow – she’s incredibly talented! The design turned out even better than we imagined. Tira’s attention to detail and creativity truly showed in the final look. My sister was obsessed with how pretty her nails looked. Both Tira and Lyn were friendly, professional, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. Highly recommend them if you want quality work and a great vibe!

After being in the and out of the hospital for 3 weeks my husband said to get an appointment to get my hands and feet done to help me try and relax and feel better. I called posh nail in the afternoon and they got me in same day for an appointment. The atmosphere is very nice and it’s a very clean salon, my nail tech (I forget her name) was awesome! I showed her what I wanted and she definitely delivered, the pedicure was super nice and my brow service was good as well. I was super tired and groggy from my medications and they provided me tea and everyone was very friendly. My nails look really good and honestly it’s the best nail set I e had in a long time.
