Aaron Mohr (☆ 5/5)

Craft is a great spot with really tasty cocktails! The food can be a bit spicy, but it’s full of flavor. It’s the perfect place for a Friday night out — fun atmosphere, good music, and great service. We keep coming back and it never disappoints
Yuliia D (☆ 5/5)

I enjoyed the lively atmosphere—it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a fun vibe. The food was good and came out quickly. Drinks were just okay—I’d recommend sticking with beer over cocktails. Overall, a solid place to hang out with friends.
Linda Ho (☆ 4/5)

Had dinner at Craft Beer Market in downtown Calgary and really enjoyed it! The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful with the perfect crunch, and the Cajun shrimp Alfredo was rich, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of kick — super tasty and filling.
It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and portion sizes made it worth it. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and overall a solid dining experience. Would definitely come back!
Carter Chattargoon (☆ 4/5)

Fun place to be with really friendly staff and fantastic drinks and food. Happy hour is insane! Very very nice way to spend the afternoon. Thanks to Ben and Kaelin!
Darsha D (☆ 5/5)

Second time here and first time I experienced the food not to be so great. Ordered the prosciutto pizza and it was VERY salty and I love salt so that being said means it was extremely salty. My husbands fries were quite dry. Otherwise atmosphere was great, beer was great. I would definitely come back and try something else as my first experience was great.
Megan Webb (☆ 4/5)

Sunday All-Day Happy Hour! Braving the -20°C cold, I headed out with friends in the afternoon for a drink. The atmosphere was really cozy, and we had two rounds of drinks. They offered a great selection of craft beers, paired with some snacks, which were all delicious. Many people were watching the football game, creating a lively vibe. Most importantly, it was a great spot for hanging out with friends.

Cold Garden Beverage Company offers a genuinely relaxed atmosphere, ideal for gatherings with friends. It’s clear that creating a comfortable space for patrons is a priority; the indoor areas are spacious with plenty of seating, and the outdoor patio appears to be a highlight during warmer months. It’s a spot you’ll likely return to for simple enjoyment and a casual, positive experience.
The selection appears to be well-curated and offers options beyond traditional beers, catering to a broader range of tastes. What stands out most is the commitment to being welcoming; bringing your own food or even having your canine companion along enhances the overall appeal and contributes to a thoroughly pleasant visit. The customer service and friendly environmentare definitely something to be commended.

Customer Reviews
A very cool place. Love to hang out with friends especially after work or a long day! A bit chill this time of the year at the patio, we stayed inside where there are a lot of big tables and couches to sit on.
Beers were alright. You can bring your own food in!
Zoo Man (☆ 4/5)

Great microbrewery with a clean and colorful environment. I really appreciate that they’re dog friendly. You can bring your dog inside or on the wonderful patio. Lots of tables and full size couches. The beers are plentiful, lots of choices at a reasonable price too. I enjoyed the Red Ale. Great job, keep up the great work!
Rory Edgar (☆ 5/5)

Cool brewery with cool vibes. Limited parking. Cool bathrooms. Dogs and kids allowed. They have the pedal wagons for going around town.
Marta Borowska (☆ 5/5)

Always worth a visit when you’re in the area. Great beer brewed on-premises. Tap room is … eclectic? … eccentric? … a lot of fun anyway (and also dog-friendly and kid-friendly). Spacious patio for warm weather. No food service, but you can bring in takeout (or even home-cooked!) or order delivery. Overall, a great experience.
Eric Tilbrook (☆ 5/5)

I wish there was a selection for 6 stars. Really really good drinks. Not a bad thing on tap. The staff are also 11/10. I forgot the bottle that I bought and they gave me a new one when I came in the next day.
Dino Elasz (☆ 5/5)

The vibe is super chill and colorful, the beer is great, and the staff are really friendly. Perfect place to hang out with friends in Inglewood.
Helia Homami (☆ 5/5)

Cold beer with selection for those who don’t love beer. Summer patio is killer and the winter vibe is warm indoors. A must visit.
Had to add more pics to add to the fun!!

Customer Reviews
What a lucky find! We were searching for a brewery near our hotel and stumbled upon this place just 150 meters away. We stayed at the Residence Inn. It was a no-brainer, and we were absolutely thrilled with our discovery! The beer selection was fantastic; my husband was a huge fan of their Tokyo Drift, and I particularly enjoyed the Hazy IPA. The atmosphere was spot-on – a great vibe with the music at a perfect volume. The food was also delicious. We shared the shrimp linguine (a little pricey and no garlic bread, but tasted good) and the beef birria nachos, this one was generously portioned and paired really well with their green goddess dip. And the cheesecake wrapped in phyllo pastry with a berry compote? Pure genius! It’s a must-try. All the servers were friendly, but Jasmine was exceptional. She was awesome and gave us some great recommendations not just for their offerings at Last Best but also for exploring the Calgary area. We loved it so much, we actually came back the following night for another round of craft beers! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
L Quijano (☆ 5/5)

I’ve been to Last Best many times and always have great food and service.
The spicy chicken sandwich always slaps, as well as the smash burger. I got the beet salad this last time and it was pretty good, but I wish the beats were a bit more seasoned.
Monday nights are Trivia and it is run very well with a gift card to Last Best for the winning team (when I was there at least).
I have had Denise as a server many times, and she is always a sweet heart.
Emily F (☆ 5/5)

I had an okay experience at Last Best. The biggest highlight was the lively atmosphere on a Thursday night – it was bustling, which added a fun vibe. The happy hour pricing was definitely a plus and made the visit worthwhile from a value standpoint.
As for the food, it was just average. Nothing really stood out or wowed me, so if you’re going for the culinary experience, you might be left a bit underwhelmed. Overall, it’s a solid spot for drinks and a social evening, but don’t expect anything too memorable from the menu.
Linda Ho (☆ 4/5)

Great brewery with a fantastic selection of craft beers and a well-executed food menu. I tried the lime lager, which was crisp, refreshing, and well-balanced, and paired it with a delicious pepperoni pizza that had the perfect mix of crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and melty cheese. While prices are on the higher end, the quality justifies the cost, and their happy hour deals—especially the all-day happy hour on Sundays—make it a great spot to visit. Friendly atmosphere, great drinks, and solid food make this place worth checking out!
Gleb Kornienko (☆ 5/5)

Love this place Great service and food! Definitely recommend the gin flight they had so many interesting gins to try! Beer selection was wonderful with something for everyone!
Randy Pearson (☆ 5/5)

I was there not for beer and I believe beer is great there.
But food is pretty average. My shrimp pasta tasted not as I expected and really lacking some kind of good sauce to it. Halloumi fries(ordered to share) is also not what we were expected this kid of cheese doesn’t really created to be breaded….
Svitlana Murhina (☆ 3/5)

We visited Last Best with our three-year-old son and server Bianca (we think? It’s been a week since we met her!) was so wonderful with him. She was very thoughtful – getting our little guy’s order in first and was really lovely to chat with. The food was also exceptional. We enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks for having us!

Great stop on our way to the airport. Huge patio, lots of seating and beer choices. The server was amazing and had such a great enthusiastic energy. Happy hour got busy which was great to see. Lots of locals and regulars which compliments its hospitality.
Emily Odermatt (☆ 5/5)

Cozy and creative gem of a brewery! I popped in for a quick lunch. I was greeted immediately by the server and was seated in their bright covered, outdoor seating area which was very inviting and bright. The blueberry/pineapple sour was so fruit forward and bright (could have had a growler full). Japa burger was a fun play on the japadog flavors plus kimchi for punch – bun was fresh and the pork patty was juicy with pork belly for extra flavor development. Check out their merch! I can tell the owners enjoy channeling their creativity through their food, beer and products! Can’t wait to come back again!
Evelyn Kwok (☆ 5/5)

Come for the Dirty Bacon Fries and if you are so inclined, apparently the house brewed beer is pretty good (I do not partake).
I had the Citizen Burger (double patty) and maybe it needed more fancy burger sauce, as I definitely missed it. It was good, but not great. The Kahuna gets top marks, but didn’t push into the stratosphere. It also could have used more sauce.
We both had a soup as the side and it was a stewie beef and barley that was really good.
Very atmospheric for a brewpub, as though seating is a nit limited, you can see directly into the brewery.
Highly recommend.
Owen Tyndall (☆ 4/5)

We dropped by on Sunday and loved that it wasn’t super busy—just the right amount of people for a laid-back vibe. The patio is really nice, and it’s dog-friendly too, which is a huge plus. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They’ve got some tasty food options if you’re feeling hungry, along with a great selection of beers. All in all, it’s a solid brewery with good food and drinks, perfect for spending a relaxed day in the neighborhood.
Linda Nolan (☆ 5/5)

The meat bomb burger was outstanding!
The kids menu is excellent with a great price point for the portion sizes.
Their patio is chill and relaxing, and as usual, the beer is always on point.
Nick Hayes (☆ 5/5)

The understated exterior hides a hidden gem of a quiet and beautiful patio. The service staff are top notch, attentive, engaging and kind.
Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed their meal and drinks. What a great place to have lunch on a holiday.
Leslie B (☆ 5/5)

Such a great little brewery. A little out of the way for me, but well worth the drive. I had the Nashville chicken burger which was delicious and the beer (I had The Blonde) was very tasty as well. Staff are all super friendly and helpful!

This was one of my Mom’s favourite places to eat when visiting my sister from Ontario and one of the last restaurants we frequented before she passed away. We were fighting over the last piece of pineapple pie because it was to die for (no pun intended ). Hospitable staff, tart and tangy kombucha and innovative and affordable soups of the day! Definitely recommend
Jeneka Jool (☆ 5/5)

Best of the best, food is always fresh and extremely delicious. I highly recommend Korean pork schnitzel and tuna tartar nachos. And beer is something… specifically the dark bear is the best thing in my life. Highly recommend 10/10
And servers is extremely friendly and they don’t interrupt you when you’re eating (what I think is very important)
Weirdo (☆ 5/5)

Great place for a flight of beer with a solid selection to choose from. Been here a few times, atomosphere and style is excellent. Fun spot to try and guide myself to for a flight whenever I can. Certainly a place to visit for drinks if you can!
Jason Stettner (☆ 5/5)

Love the unique spin on traditional classics. Buffalo Cauliflower, Kimchi Popcorn, Nashville Chicken Sandwich with Kale Ceaser salad. Great variety micro brewery beers
Bently Rolf (☆ 5/5)

The mouth watering beer and service was fantastic.
Was the service mouth watering? LOL
We didn’t have anything to eat but everyone’s meals looked very good.
We have to try the fondue for sure.
Shawn Selanders (☆ 4/5)

Update: back to try all the good food. Tuna nachos is to die for. Canadian wheat beer is exceptionally good.. this place has it all.
This place has been many things over the years but this is the first time it’s been a brewery. I must say I did not know what to expect but was absolutely blown away with the quality of the food and the beer was unique and delicious. You don’t normally think of a brewery when you aim for culinary perfection and our group was stunned by the level of excellence from the various plates we sampled. We plan on coming back to try everything on the menu, it was that good. It’s so very rare to find a place that can make a bore sausage with Italian cheese with the same passion as a plate of cauliflower bites. BTW I’d wager BS makes the best cauliflower bites in all of Calgary. If you do come here you absolutely must try the food. Thank you BS I’ll be back for that schnitzel and another pint!
Mathew (☆ 5/5)

Great location and a beautifully setup patio. The space is organised nicely to bring your dog onto the patio. Plenty of shade and breeze on hot days with all of the umbrellas. Service is friendly and welcoming.

Amazing selection of drinks, whether you like beer, cocktails, ciders, non-alcoholic… something for everyone.
We were a large group, and even so the service was incredible. They were fast with drinks, accurate and gave great suggestions. The food is through a third party vendor, so they don’t take orders at the table (you go up and order). No biggy, but good to know when you get there they don’t serve food TO the table. They had burgers and fries-type food, actually next-level good (the loaded fries, especially).
The patio was really cosy (and dog friendly <3), lots of seating options throughout the establishment. This has been my husband and I’s favourite brewery for years. Virtually every beer they have released has been amazing and the vibe at their location is great. No pretentiousness at all, just very relaxed and lowkey. The patio is great and dog friendly with heat lamps in a number of spots besides the open area. Although they don’t have a full kitchen, the food they offer is great if you are looking for a snack or small lunch (I especially recommend the cabin dogs). The staff are also very friendly. This brewery will always be my first recommendation!

A Gem in Calgary’s Brewing Scene: Cabin Brewing – Where Top-Notch Service Meets Stellar Brews
Cabin Brewing has firmly established itself as a must-visit destination in Calgary, and for good reason. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a genuine warmth that exemplifies top-class service. The staff are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about their craft. Whether you’re a seasoned beer aficionado or just dipping your toes into the world of craft brewing, they’re always ready with recommendations and a friendly chat, making you feel right at home.
But the exceptional service is just the beginning. Cabin truly shines when it comes to their great beers. A standout among their impressive lineup is undoubtedly the Sunshine Rain IPA. This beauty perfectly balances a bright, citrusy hop profile with a smooth, refreshing finish. It’s the kind of IPA that appeals to a wide range of palates – hoppy enough to satisfy the enthusiasts, yet approachable for those newer to the style. Each sip is a burst of sunshine, making it a perfect choice any time of year.
Beyond the liquid gold, Cabin also knows how to satisfy your hunger. The Bretzel King cabin dogs are, as claimed, truly top class. These aren’t your average hot dogs; they’re elevated with quality ingredients and creative toppings, often served on a delicious pretzel bun that adds a delightful textural element. They perfectly complement the beers on tap, making for a satisfying and enjoyable experience.
The atmosphere at Cabin Brewing is also worth noting. It strikes a great balance between a lively taproom and a comfortable gathering space. Whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying a solo pint, or looking for a relaxed spot to unwind, Cabin provides the perfect backdrop.
In conclusion, Cabin Brewing offers a complete package: exceptional and attentive service that makes you feel valued, a fantastic selection of well-crafted beers with the Sunshine Rain IPA being a definite highlight, and delicious, high-quality food like the Bretzel King cabin dogs. It’s a place where passion for brewing and hospitality truly shines through, making it a top recommendation for anyone in Calgary looking for a memorable brewery experience.

My family comes up to Calgary two or three times a year from Denver to visit family and it’s just understood that we will be going to cabin ASAP when we land. The only question is how many times will we go in our time here…
This place is by far my favorite brewery in Calgary because of the good beer, great atmosphere and the friendly people. When it’s summer, head to the patio. If it’s winter hang out under the canoe or in one of the little cabin booths. You can’t lose!! It’s a running joke with my wife and I that we have to bring a separate suitcase just because of cabin. Been coming here since the first year they were open and we will keep coming back. Congrats on 6 years!
Ryan McLaughlin (☆ 5/5)

The decor of this brewery is fantastic! It definitely lives up to the breweries name; and does not disappoint!
The staff here bring a ton of excitement with them to their job, they honestly seem to be happy at work which adds to the incredibly fun atmosphere. The beer is exceptional, with my favorites being the light lime, by the lake, and pomp & circumstance. Did I mention they have slushies! With and without alcohol!
They sell locally sourced snacks and on the weekend bring in food vendors. They try and support local as much as possible.
Love this place!

We were here on May 23. Flying back home the next morning and looking for a place to eat near the airport hotel. This is the place to go!
Yes we were most likely the only foreigners in there that night but they made us feel like regulars. It was very crowded. We literally got the only available parking spot in the whole lot.
Southwest Burger, Kale Caesar, Cowboy Chicken Crunch & Classic Burger & of course their local beer, and everyone loved what they ordered.
Highly recommend it and as a bonus experience great Canadian hospitality!
Thomas DeWine (☆ 5/5)

Great range of beers. Tried the West Coast IPA and Nitro Stout – both highly drinkable. The brewpub does 5oz flights if you want to explore more.
Food is well presented and hits the spot. Tried the Cowboy club with a side of Kale Caesar – crisp and juicy as needed.
Will return when opportunity arises.
Toby Haynes (AskQuestionsLater) (☆ 5/5)

The Hawaiian Heat pizza is great. They also have a breadth of amazing beer selections, both constants and seasonals. The peanut butter stout is a great option.

Sometimes, in the urban industrial wasteland, you’ll find a hidden gem. This is one of those places!!!
Stuck somewhere unassuming in the middle of the warehouses and hotels up by YYC, you’ll find Railyard Brewing.
Marked only by a sign, high above the front door among everything that looks the same… You’d expect only that – just the same. This place is anything but.
Walking through the front door you are welcomed by an inviting glow and a case holding some of the things they are most proud of.
On your way passed the bar, the aesthetic of the place starts to take hold. The decor is semi-industrial – fitting to the area – with awesome graffiti on the wall.
The food menu features familiar favourites – pizzas, sandwiches and bar snacks. They take every opportunity they can to incorporate their craft brews as ingredients in their dishes. The pizza features a fantastically crispy, yet chewy crust! Everything I’ve tried so far is amazing! The presentation never lets you down, even the vegetables are still al dente in the soups
I highly recommend the Pesto Cauliflower Sub, their Pretzel Crouton Kale Caesar and the Loaded Nacho Fries.
They offer so many beers, made in house and available in most liquor stores. You’ll have to swing by for their taproom exclusives, which are only available at this location – including Anita.
She was super knowledgeable, ready with recommendations and an absolute gem – just like this place.
Brett Pawlak (☆ 5/5)

We were excited to go here before our flight. We could have gone to other breweries but picked here. We called a few hours ahead to make sure they were open today. No answer and no special phone recording which is fine as they open at 1pm. Arrived to find a sign outside, we are closed today for a private event. Sad that they chose not to communicate this via social media or their phone voice-mail in advance. We wasted our afternoon walking here from the airport.
Tyler Lunn (☆ 1/5)

Good pizza and great brews. Their core offerings are tasty, especially their nitro stout. They usually brew one or two taproom exclusives which are great. They had a fantastic English Dark Mild a few years ago and at the present time they have a British Brown ale right now which is quite similar and deliciously smooth and nutty. It’s a pretty open space inside and they also have a billiard table and some darts available. Service is fast. Great brewery in the north here near the airport.
David Yuan (☆ 5/5)

Love this place…a Beacon of Hope for good times in an otherwise intolerable sprawling industrial complex beneath a flight landing path to Calgary Airport. Totally recommend hitting this place for a Sunday afternoon. Nearby Hotels serve Railyard’s choice beers on tap – Go with the IPAs!

Best of Kin Social seems like a truly delightful spot for a relaxed gathering. From what I’m hearing, the atmosphere is undeniably inviting, with a blend of comfort and unique charm. The staff consistently receive praise for being friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming experience for every visitor.
Beyond the ambiance, the food offerings appear to be a major draw. The menu showcases a variety of options to satisfy different tastes, with a real emphasis on quality ingredients>. It’s clear that they’re focused on offering more than just drinks, creating a place that families and friend groups can enjoy together. A true champion of the local community.

Loved this place. Perfect for an outdoor spot and their patio is DOG-FRIENDLY! We came here for a quick lunch spot with our dog and they were wonderful (gave our puppy some water too).
We ordered some Kennebec Fries to share and had the BBQ Korean Chicken sandwich and the Pork Belly Bao as mains. The Boozy Lemonade cocktail was a nice touch for a hot warm day
Csyra Piañar (☆ 5/5)

Went in for a beer and snack. Definitely want to try more of the food as the fries were good and I’ve heard good things about the bbq. Had the radler and honey lager for the first time. Both were great. Patio is nice but it was a bit windy and loud. Great spot!
Thomas Mo (☆ 5/5)

I got the fish and chips sandwich with the soup. Delicious.
Wonderful fun murals in the bathrooms.
Big space with lots of seats, suitable for big groups/parties.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had a fantastic experience at Best of Kin! The staff was amazing, and the cozy vibe made it a perfect spot to unwind. Tried the Summer Crush, Sailor’s Delight, and Celebration Sour (beers on tap)—all refreshing and surprisingly good. But the real star of the night? The Fish and Chips—absolutely outstanding! The fish just melts in your mouth. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to be back!
Guneet Bawa (☆ 5/5)

I had an incredible experience at Best of Kin Brewery in Calgary! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had a great blend of industrial charm and cozy vintage decor. The eclectic mix of mismatched chairs and rustic wooden furniture created a laid-back, welcoming vibe, perfect for a casual gathering or a family outing.
Ambiance:
The open-concept design with exposed ductwork and high ceilings gives it a modern, trendy feel, while the warm wood accents and quirky vintage pieces add character. The space is bright, with plenty of natural light coming through the large windows, making it feel lively and open. The kitchen is cleverly housed in a repurposed shipping container, adding a unique touch to the overall design.
Service:
The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and beer selections. They took the time to explain the different beer options and made some great recommendations that paired perfectly with our food.
Food & Drinks:
We ordered a variety of items, and everything was spot-on. The hot wings had a fantastic kick, perfectly glazed with a tangy sauce and topped with fresh jalapeños for that extra heat. The fries were crispy and came with a delicious, flavorful dipping sauce. To complement the food, we enjoyed a few of their craft beers – all fresh, smooth, and well-balanced. The beer selection caters to all tastes, from hoppy IPAs to smooth lagers.
Family-Friendly Touches:
I also appreciated that the place is family-friendly. They provided coloring materials for the kids, which kept them entertained while we enjoyed our drinks and food. It’s a great place to bring the whole family, whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or an afternoon hangout.
Final Thoughts:
Best of Kin Brewery is a gem in Calgary’s brewery scene. Whether you’re looking for a great pint, delicious food, or a cozy atmosphere to hang out with friends or family, this spot has it all. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!

We were coming back from Canmore and came back into Calgary at a weird time around 2-3pm when a lot of places weren’t open as they switched from lunch to dinner.
We ended up stopping here and had an absolutley fabulous meal and some cold brews. We got a sampling plate with some meats and cheeses and it was so good. We also got a few other things like wings and some salads.
We had such a good meal we wanted to come again but sadly we weren’t able to return in the short time we had left in Calgary. Excellent place though, if I lived in Calgary I would come often!

Award winning craft beer! Lots of different beers on tap and beer to go! They age their barrel-aged beer here and it looks like the place where all the magic happens. A plus here are super clean washrooms. Perfect food menu for snacking and have a beer on a sunny day. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

Cozy brewery with some vegan food options from Canela Bakery. They have some kids games and markers/crayons at the front which is thoughtful. Some parking in the parking lot and on the street. There is some merch at the front. Small room you can book for events. Overall cool, cozy vibe.
Marta Borowska (☆ 4/5)

As a newcomer here,It is the first time for me to explore Calgary’s craft beer scene! The integration of the brewing space and taproom is fantastic, and the vibe of chatting under the beer barrels is great!
I started with a tasting set and discovered today’s highlight: a hazy pale ale called *Afternoon Delight*. It’s bursting with fruity aromas—absolutely amazing!
Ye Tian (☆ 5/5)

I am sitting here right now drinking an amazing beer. This taproom is so amazing. The staff here are so friendly and they all work so well together. They are amazing to customers and the beer…..OMG THE BEER. North of the Sunset is fantastic. Try it….or better yet dont….so I can keep drinking more and more.
Chrissy Hilton (☆ 5/5)

Reddit said this is the best brewery in Calgary. I haven’t been to all of them, but I can safely say Reddit was probably right on this one.
They have a fantastic beer selection, with some amazing Hazy IPAs, and Czech lagers served with proper respect to the tradition.
Mateus Karvat (☆ 5/5)

The Establishment Brewing Company is hands down the best brewery in Calgary! Every time I visit, I’m impressed by the incredible variety and quality of their beers. The attention to detail in their brewing process really shows — the flavors are complex, balanced, and consistently excellent.
Their hazy IPAs and sours are personal favorites, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Kelen Maria (☆ 5/5)

Such a beautiful brewery, perfectly decorated, very inclusive, lots of nice merch and of course a huge selection of beer on tap. Only downside is there are no gluten free alcoholic beverage options. Overall I’d recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
