This place is great for beginners! It’s clean, and the staff is super friendly. Anneka was amazing, she gave me really useful tips, was very patient and inspiring. I went on a weekend morning, and it wasn’t too busy. Everyone I met was really supportive and cheerful. I like this center!

Love climbing here. The routes are challenging and fun. They have a great range of auto belay routes and the whole gym feels really spacious. Friendly staff as well, great atmosphere.

Lots of area for different climbing experiences and levels. The friendly attendants were great for accommodating children and explained everything to them on their level as well as helping them into their harnesses. They have snacks, drinks and a few lunch items as well if you get hungry or need a boost. They need a great deal more auto belays which allow solo climbers and those without a belay course. Because the auto belays only cover about 5% of the total gym, those areas were the most popular. Everyone would have to wait, but it was still worth it as the gym wasn't overly busy on that day.

We have been twice in the last couple weeks and the staff is super friendly and helpfu! We found that there were a good amount of beginner routes, plus a lot of more challenging routes that weren't impossible for our skill level. Great spot, we will be getting a family membership.

If you’re used to climbing and belaying and need to get belay certified at this gym again, expect them to be very textbook about it. They’ll expect you to answer questions like, what do you check for before you start a climb? And one of the answers is that you’re both on the same rope. Yah, k, duh. But they won’t make concessions. Also, they’ll do the usual take and unexpected fall - but they’ll also expect that you do a very exaggerated "Super-belay" even if there isn’t actually any slack in the rope during the take demonstration. If you don’t make exaggerated moves, or be extremely textbook about the belay test, you’re not going to pass regardless of your climbing experience. Because you know, that’s how climbers climb. They do things like check off a checklist in their head of "Are we on the same rope?" Also, they got my nephew, a 10 year old, to help with the belay test. He clearly didn’t understand the assignment. Good choice, genius.

It's the best climbing place so far for us. The food is not great, but the coffee is delicious. The people are nice. They do have strong compliance with ID and waivers, which my husband doesn't love, but that is a Canadian problem, not theirs particularly. I sit and charge my phone, have a coffee, and sometimes read a book or the Bible, and the music is never too loud nor too low; it is perfect! We go in the morning on Saturday, and it has never been packed. I give it five because it is a neat experience overall. I do recommend checking the food, like the sandwiches and salads, if they are not fresh or edible, it is better to throw them away. other than that, it's been our climbing space for a long time and will keep being so for the foreseeable future. God bless all the helpful people in this climbing center.
