There’s never any judgment, only genuine support, and we always leave feeling closer to each other and even more in love — which is exactly why we started dance lessons in the first place. We wanted an excuse to "date" each other again, and Miro and Carol have created such a warm, fun space where we can do just that. They ask about our love story, push us (in the best way) out of our comfort zones, and remind us of how this perfectly chaotic little family of ours came to be. My fiancé and I booked a package of dance lessons here to prepare for our wedding. Carol and Miro are amazing teachers. As someone with zero dance experience I felt welcome and had a lot of fun. This studio is LGBTQ+ friendly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone but especially to queer couples seeking somewhere safe to dance.

Miro and Carol are awesome! We came to them for wedding dance lessons. Neither me or my husband are very good dancers and Miro was very nice and encouraging. He choreographed our first dance and taught us how to do it! Everyone was so impressed with how great our dance turned out! Would definitely recommend dance lessons here!

Just finished four weeks of country line dancing with instructor Melissa. I had so much fun. It was a small class and we learned 6 dances in total. I look forward to taking more classes with Melissa.

We signed up for the Ultimate Wedding Dance Package, and Carol was our main instructor. She was absolutely amazing and helped us choreograph our entire wedding dance. Neither my wife nor I had any dance experience, but Carol was very encouraging and friendly, making us feel comfortable from the start. What started as one song turned into a three-song mashup, and Carol guided us through the process with ease. She also helped choreograph our mother/son and father/daughter dances, ensuring they were beautiful yet simple enough to learn. DC Dance Club was also very accommodating with my schedule, as I work in shift work, and my wife wasn’t always available. The instructors were fantastic in helping us design all three songs, and our first dance was a huge hit—our guests and family truly loved it. Carol made my vision come to life, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks to this experience, I’ve become passionate about learning different styles of dance. Thank you, Carol, and DC Dance Club!

Many studios seemed focused on teaching children, but Carol and her team cater to students of all ages and experience levels.
