My daughter went there she loved it and she told me everything she said it was so much fun the field trips are overall safe and fun the staff are so nice but the assistant principle is so rude she grabbed my son by his hoddie and dragged him to the office mind you she is a grown woman and she did that she doesn't know how to handle situations and the past principles were the worst they were so rude but as long as you have good people to hang out with and be nice to the teachers and not get into any trouble you will be good but the student are also not that good but trust me she loved this school i would recommend coming here

My daughter went there and she overall loved the school. They had a great gym and the majority of teachers were amazing! Many of the principals over the years were amazing, but you will most likely stay in the same classroom for multiple years because they rarely change your classroom, in my experience.

This review is for Ms. Kelly Christopher (new principal) and Mr. Mack Fraser (new teacher). I knew them when they were previously at Altadore School, and they were some of the most amazing educators. They were well respected by other parents. I wish them all the best at the new school. I am sure they will do amazing things for the students and the community of Monterey Park School.

If children are treated the way I was treated by the Vice principal of this school I feel very sad for the children who go here.
This women screamed at me while I had a bus full of children because I parked in the school bus zone. Technically the van I drive is a school bus . She yelled and screamed you can't park there telling me I'm not a bus just screaming move move I'm going to report you. I said for safety reasons I pull up grab my 2 kids and go . I would have to park across the street take all 7 kids of walk across the street and back .Not safe
This women was so unprofessional .
I had to calm 1 of the children on the bus down because this woman scared her and she was crying.

I am a student of Monterey Park School. I absolutely enjoy going to this school. Being apart of Monterey Park for 6 years was excellent. All the staff were amazing, and if you leave around this area I would definitely recommend this school for your child. I am unfortunately going to a Junior High School soon, and I will definitely miss Monterey Park but I am left with many unforgettable happy memories of this school.

I went here for half of my elementary years. Decent school with polite staff. As I remember the teachers were super solicitous about their students and I had an excellent time. If you're in the area, I recommend putting your kids here.
