We signed our son up for a 3 day LEGO robotics and 3d printing camp. We were mostly interested in the 3D printing aspect of the camp. Unfortunately, our son completed the program without any 3D printing knowledge as the instructor said "it was too complicated for the kids." I don't think there was much planning put into the course, particularly on how to teach the courses they wanted to offer to the 9-12 age range. On a positive note, he did enjoy building with the Lego tools but was mostly left to work independently and with very little instructional guidance. While the offered programs have a lot of potential, there was not a lot of structure to the program and it seems like they are understaffed and could not provide proper instruction.

My 5 years old son went to his first winter camp at Flying Minds. I have asked couple more families to send their kids with my son. They were in all different ages but all of them including mine absolutely loved the camp! They got to learn and experience in various programs: chess, Lego robotic, art (even 3D printing) and outdoor activities. They had so much fun and it was quite challenging to convince them to go home at pick-up time. I highly recommend Flying Minds to every parent who have child(ren) is/are interested in art and science. My son will definitely come back for their regular basis programs and future camps.
