Our daughter came to Sylvan in an urgent situation—she needed to "level up" quickly to keep pace with her 3rd-grade peers at a highly demanding private school in Calgary. From the very first moment, the Center Director exuded confidence and reassurance, which helped ease the stress for both me and my wife during a challenging time.
Day by day, the Sylvan team systematically identified and filled the learning gaps from previous years. In just a few months, they helped her reach a level where we're now fine-tuning the final details to ensure she’s fully where she needs to be.
The Sylvan team has been professional, supportive, and highly effective. I would highly recommend them to any parent looking to establish a solid study routine and ensure thorough academic follow-up for their child.

Karyn and her team are amazing. They really care and would not give up on your child. They do not help in academics alone, they also help in building your child’s confidence .I am so grateful for their amazing input in my daughter’s life, she is not the same kid I brought to them a year ago. Thank you for being so considerate about learning not only 3 subjects but learning much more like science and social studies and homework. My son wouldn’t have let my husband make him quit going to Sylvan.My son also loves to go to learn at Sylvan so much!!!

A great place to help get your kid to where they should be, or even ahead. Karyn is friendly, professional, and dedicated to helping kids succeed. It’s amazing that the learning plans are personalized and ensure that the help is specific to each kid

Sylan is a perfect fit for our family. Our son is in Grade 11 and been going to the SW location for about a month. The team and tutors are incredibly positive and supportive. His English skills have improved very quickly and what he has learned has already translated into improved test scores in the classroom. Sylvan also offers tutoring for Math, Chemistry, and Physics and our son says it has been really helpful and also improved his test marks in those subjects. The area where the kids work is colorful, bright, and cheery. Best of all, our son enjoys going to Sylvan. It has improved his confidence and renewed his interest in school.
