I helped my elderly father try a small investment into crypto. After successfully purchasing and holding for a year he is not able to withdraw funds because of a forgotten gmail password. Customer Support has not been helpful in retrieving his funds from his account.

my experience is horrible. The app didn't work nicely for me. I haven't confirm withdraw and it returned my money and charged 15 fees for e-transfer. I won't suggest anyone to use Bitvo. there are other simple and user friendly apps available.
when I was trying to close my account, it is not letting me and when i contacted customer service, they were asking for picture ID which was not provided during account opening. I am still trying to close my account with customer support.
Not Recommended at all.

Excellent Customer Service. The Bitvo exchange is very customer friendly and easy to use. I had many questions when the Bitvo exchange first started and have used their chat service and have phoned them directly in order to get a comfort level before I used the exchange. One of my concerns was how they dealt with cold storage. They explained their cold storage procedure and I now feel very confident in using Bitvo.
Also, I have had direct conversation with their president, Pam Draper. Very knowledgeable and accessible. How many Presidents of an exchange are accessible and actually care about what their customers think? The Bitvo President also gives me a high comfort level when using Bitvo.
I have used many exchanges in the past but I plan to only use Bitvo from now on.

I'm using a few exchanges.. I find BITVO to be fairly easy to use with low fees. Setting up wasn't too bad. My only gripe is that when i tried to make a transfer, a confirmation email went to my junk. They never told me i had to confirm but the customer support team was extremely fast and helpful. .. good customer service is not something i am used to.

After trying multiple platforms, Bitvo is by far my favourite platform for trading crypto. Withdrawals happen quickly and they have NO deposit fees. Plus, their customer service is available 24/7 and have been incredibly helpful when I needed their assistance. I can't recommend Bitvo enough!

the reason I have contacted support is that my transfer from UNI coin to my Bitvio wallet was not instantaneous. Support took my request seriously and quickly assisted me in a professional manner.
but after 2 weeks of use the amount of my wallet does not move? unlike the other platform bitvio does not have any fluctuations in the amount. I decided to close the account because after making some transactions nothing work without the help of technical support.

I've researched a number of crypto exchanges in Canada and Bitvo is by far one of the very best. The rates are more reasonable both for purchases and for withdrawals. Their customer service has always been professional and responsive. The only downside is that the website is very basic. Having some kind of an email notification / confirmation would be very nice after a successful transaction.
