Golden Cactus Mexican Grill

We've been trying to come here for over a year and it just didn't work out. Today though, proved it was worth the wait! It's a fun atmosphere, we loved the decor but most importantly, loved the food! Got as close to licking the plate as possible without actually licking! So good!

It was a great dinner! We ordered seafood molcajete and molcajete carne asada, both are great but a little bit salty for us. The fish taco is delicious! They are crispy and juicy. Highlight recommended!

Golden Cactus Mexican Grill is hands down the best spot for authentic Mexican cuisine! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an amazing dining experience. The food is absolutely incredible – bursting with rich, traditional flavors that truly transport you to Mexico. Their tacos are perfection, and the freshly made guacamole is out of this world. Don’t even get me started on their enchiladas – they’re packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put genuine care into every dish. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to make great recommendations. Whether you're dining in or taking out, the quality and authenticity never disappoint. Golden Cactus Mexican Grill has become my go-to spot for authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended!

We had lunch the other day after someone strongly recommended we try it. Wow!! This is a small restaurant with a large heart and lots of character and charm. It is true Mexican cuisine. Our server was fantastic as he helped us with the menu. We ordered tacos and enchiladas and it was all delicious! International Avenue hits again. Gracias for an amazing experience and we can’t wait to come back again!

I tried a Molcajete for the first time and it was so good! I loved that the meat stayed hot cuz I am a slow eater . Their drinks were also really good! The horchata wasn’t overly sweet and I loved spicy mango anything . Follow @vonne.appetit on instagram for more reviews

We attended a birthday dinner here over the weekend. The atmosphere was nice, reminded me of sitting in a hole in the wall restaurant in Mexico. The food was phenomenal and very authentic. The only downfall was the service. It took quite a while to put a drink order in. We had to ask for them to come take our order and then the food was ready, they brought out extra dishes that we didn’t order and the birthday girl got her meal last. Other than that, it was so yummy and I would go back and have more yummy tacos!
