We had a mixed experience here. We were lucky that we got a consultation almost right away, and that initial appointment went really well. The doctor and nurses were lovely and we left feeling really hopeful. After a bunch of initial testing they weren’t able to give us much more information and we requested further tests.
My partner received the results for one of these tests through Alberta Health but I didn’t see my own results so messaged the clinic to try and get them. They told me that the test I was inquiring about hadn’t been requisitioned for me…after I had already taken it? When I tried to argue that I had the requisition and had taken the test, they doubled down and said they talked to my nurse and no such requisition existed. Luckily, I had just missed the results in my Alberta health and was able to track them down and send them to the clinic. They then came back and said "oh yes we see it in your file now". So not only did we receive zero follow up on test results, they argued that the testing that THEY ordered was ever done.
In the end I got pregnant naturally and didn’t need to proceed any further with them but had we needed treatment I likely would have pursued out of province options.

Honestly the BEST TEAM I could ask for especially in the most vulnerable moment of my life. Dr. Paterson, the whole nursing Team, the pharmacy Team, ward Team, Front Desk were absolutely incredible. They were all very compassionate and answers all the million questions I have! Also love how convenient the app is. I’ve literally never had a bad experience here and thankful for everyone that made this very challenging journey as smooth as possible ♥️

As a new person undergoing treatments I would expect more empathy and kindness. Front staff and phone service is incredible, and nurses are amazing.
Pharmacy however is rude, short and unhelpful. I am disappointed and saddened by the way I was spoken to and made to feel like a nuisance since this is my first time with such medications and my nerves and anxiety needed someone to help me navigate this.
I will avoid getting my medication fulfilled there as much as possible.

I just completed my egg retrieval for IVF, and so far after working with RFP for 8 months, I’ve only had positive experiences. Yes, the wait times are long. Yes, you sometimes do feel like a number. Yes, you’re always seeing different doctors and nurses. But they know their stuff and I felt very secure throughout my treatment. And considering how big their patient base is and servicing so many individuals in Alberta and beyond, they have always given me the time, empathy, warmth and care that makes me feel heard and taken care of. Pharmacy, nursing teams, and doctors have all given me time when I’ve asked for it and have provided thorough answers to all my questions - silly or otherwise. While the waiting and quick appointments can seem frustrating, they are simply aiming to provide their services to as many individuals in need as possible and I think they do a fantastic job balancing attentive care and helping as many people as they do.

Dr. Foong moved mountains for us that permanently altered our life for the best - forever. Her and most of the staff gets and deserves the 5 stars for being friendly, accommodating, and incredible people. They were patient with us, gentle over the fragile subject matter, had a sense of urgency with our situation (which very much required it given our medical emergency situation), and also honest with us. Really appreciated it.
Dr. Wong gets an F, however. He was our first point of contact that rushed us through a phone call meeting. He also did not respect a booking that was set for a time, and seemed to be under the impression that we were available all day, telling us that the booking is just a reminder to call at any point during the day. What? We got things to do on a Wednesday.
When we did finally talk he sped through our situation and didn’t ask if we had questions or anything. Found out later he was trying to rush out for a flight to Vancouver. Annoying, but whatever. It meant that we got handed over to the incredible Dr. Foong, so perhaps it was good it happened that way.
Thank you Dr. Foong! We’ll never forget you!

I just had my negative test results for iui. I'm very heart broken. I had letrozol taken given by pharmacist as the nurse in the clinic on third day of my period before doing the iui treatment. And the nurse called me after 4th why I took it? But I don't even have letter sent to the pharmacy for the right medication. When I was inside the clinic they do iui. I think the person doing the iui is not even nurse. She doesn't know how to get through the cervix of the sperm. She called the nurse after like 15minutes trying. Was very disappointed. I cannot believe. I didn't feel anything after the treatment. Like nothing so I think I already know I will have negative results for pregnancy test after 2 weeks of iui. I paid the sperm so expensive and the treatment iui is expensive too. If I get positive results of pregnancy test then I would definitely change this review For now I'm super heartbroken for 2nd time IUI. They would ask you also to do IVF instead of iui.the 2nd time feels like it wasn't inserted in uterus but just outside uterus. . Is there anybody on this clinic get pregnant atleast 1 in every 100 people that goes here? Just wondering...

We’ve had a very positive experience at Regional Fertility Program overall. From the very beginning, we were assigned Dr. Gotz, who has been fantastic. He’s extremely knowledgeable and straightforward, which made us feel confident and well-informed throughout the process. We also had the privilege of working with the pharmacy staff, nurses, and embryologists, all of whom were exceptional. Everyone treated us with genuine respect and kindness, which really made a difference during such a sensitive time.
One aspect that stood out to me was the Prelude app. I absolutely loved it—it made communication so much easier compared to relying on the phone. We were able to get updates and messages quickly, and it felt much more organized and efficient than the traditional phone system. It’s a feature I really appreciated and found very helpful.
However, the clinic isn’t without its challenges. The biggest downside for us has been the reception staff and the phone appointment system. The system is frankly a bit of a nightmare—it's hard to get through, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth required to schedule things. On top of that, the receptionists can sometimes be quite rude, which was honestly frustrating. Even when interacting with them in person, the customer service skills were lacking, which felt out of place given how professional and caring everyone else at the clinic was. It was the one area where the clinic could definitely improve.
