I’ve been getting massages regularly because of how physically demanding my job is, and out of everyone I’ve seen, Mary (Jin) Mu, has been hands-down the best. From the first session, she took the time to really understand where my pain was coming from & not just treating the obvious spots, but digging deeper to find the actual cause. I’ve noticed real, lasting relief and couldn't thank her enough!!

Zoya's technique is specific to your body and its needs. She sends you home with targeted stretching to help support the treatment between sessions, and clearly explains where your muscles are now, after treatment, and ultimately where you want them to be.
Her availability is great, and booking online makes it a seamless experience. Really happy I took the chance on an Instagram ad!

Rita is the only massage therapist I will see moving forward. She is results orientated, personable and I wish I could call her and thank her as I was able to shoulder-check without pain on my drive home. I nearly cried from the relief I felt. I had a pinched nerve and pain for weeks. She somehow knew exactly where to target ('somehow' probably being her 23 years of experience) and I felt like we were a team working to fix the same problem. Her no-nonsense, intuitive approach was refreshing and led to great results. She used multiple techniques - all of which were very effective. I cannot recommend her enough, and will be back. I can't speak to other RMTs but the place was clean, smelled great, and is easy to find. It is located above Purple Perk cafe. Check it out!

Although I live out of town, I can always get an appointment when I need with the Why Knot crew. Great, friendly service. Mae is very knowledgeable with rehabilitation. I have some chronic back injuries and she is very knowledgeable on treating each area with precision and care. Great area of town as well.

Finding Why Knot! has been such good luck for my health and comfort. Not only has every member of the staff (that I've met) been wonderful, Zoya is incredible; leaving me relaxed and cared for after each appointment, but also giving me instructions to help issues past the massage.

Nicole is phenomenal. I recently had my first appointment and felt much better afterward. Nicole identified and addressed my problem areas. Cupping was a great added feature. I will be continuing to book with Nicole!

Honestly this was the worst massage I've ever had. The therapist was very kind but she did not listen to me at all - she spent minimal time poking at my neck and shoulders which I asked her to focus on, and instead massaged my arms for most of the 60 minutes. I was also under the sheet for over half the massage, which limited getting in to my muscles (maybe this is a matter of opinion?), and when she was using oil she cleaned it off of me with a PAPER TOWEL. The massage ended with her scraping an instrument on my face and scalp but it was not relaxing but honestly pretty uncomfortable. I can home with a headache. I'm sure that there are other therapists who are very decent here but I'm shocked this person is an RMT.
