My "lawyer", Jasneet Malhi, was my lawyer for an entire year before she lost very, very sensitive information I trusted her with. I asked to see my documents that I faxed her a year ago because she’s asking for the same documents again without doing anything in the meantime. She says I threatened her!! With what?! And despite her being my lawyer for a year, she’s never met me. There were many different ways to handle that. Nonetheless, I will pursue with FOIP.
So, if you want to be ignored, and you want to add some extra headache to your already turbulent family matter, choose Stonetree Law.

Initial contact with Stonetree regarding probate and it went well. I assembled the documents they needed and recontacted them. A week later I hadn't heard back from them so I called them. Told they were checking for potential conflicts with their current clients. I knew there was no conflict with their other clients but let them do their own thing. A week later they hadn't contacted me, so I called them again and asked them to get a hold of me ASAP. They didn't contact me. So after waiting a week, I contacted a new law firm and got quick service and 24 hours later probate was underway.
I would not recommend Stonetree to any one.

I have been a client of Stonetree Law for several years for a variety of matters including wills, personal directives & powers of attorney, even a home insurance claim. Andreina at Stonetree was to say the least remarkable! I went into see her, feeling defeated, scared and extremely let down by the company I had been working for. Her smile and extremely friendly disposition immediately took any nervousness I was feeling away. She not only cared about my case but she really made me feel as though she cared about my wellbeing through the whole process, quickly answering my emails with any and all concerns I had, as well as calling to give me updates and to just ask how I was feeling. My case was resolved fairly quickly and I couldn’t be happier! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stonetree law to anyone needing help with a work related issue. Stay away from Jennifer Miller at all costs. She is lazy, slow to reply, and does not have the attention to detail one would expect in a lawyer. The rest of the office is professional enough but definitely not enough for me to recommend risking the run-around I received from her. Though from what I've seen in the other reviews, Jennifer is not the only money-grabbing, time-wasting lawyer in the office. Hopefully there is improvement in the future for other potential clients, but I can say I won't be there to experience it.
