Level 1 Escape Room & VR Arcade

I had family in town and we decided to try Apartment 103 - Chapter Two - A Mother’s Love. The staff was GREAT and we had such a fun evening! We managed to escape with barely any time left. It was challenging, but we loved every minute!!! I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

We decided to do this last minute since it was a rainy day and are very glad that we did! It was a fun room and the staff was amazing! From the time we entered the facility, to reviewing all of the locks (who knew there were so many different types!), helping us when we got stuck and congratulating us when we "escaped" with 5 seconds on the clock! Check it out, they're great!!

Held a birthday party for my daughter here and it was such a great experience from start to end. To start the staff I spoke with to plan it were so helpful - and I must have called them 3 times to go over everything. Then while there they accommodated 16 screaming girls politely and professionally and with so much patience. The venue was perfect, we used 4 rooms and the kids had a blast, although some got very scared at times! but the fun kind of scared. After the party they couldn't stop talking about how much fun it was. The party room was perfect for pizza and cake and the staff were so accommodating and didn't rush us at all and went above and beyond to help and provide anything we needed. 5 stars by far. They also were very accomodating about headcount and only charged us for the number of players that came. I heard some of the kids say after they want to have their birthdays there so you may see us again soon 🙂

Our experience at Level 1 was underwhelming. We completed Apt 103 in just over 30min with a group of 4, only myself being rather experienced in escape rooms. The room was quick and easy, so quick I was actually looking for the next step and not realizing we'd finished the room. There was no real indication that we'd reached the end of the room. There was a door sized cut out in the final space leading me to think the room carried on but in fact, it was just damage to the wall? There were several other spots of damage as well that had just been covered with a piece of paper rather than being properly repaired. This rood advertises itself as horror themed and the host indicated that while there were no live actors, there were still jump scares. Nothing jump scare occurred in our play through despite it being clear where there should've been something happening. The puzzles are all lock based. Key, number, letter, combination, and directional. No duplicates of the same lock in the same space so it's easy to know which code unlocks what. I will say, the clues via riddle on an iPad in the room is a nice feature. It allows players to get help when stuck without feeling like it's cheating or breaking the theme of the room with a host coming in. The clues don't outright tell you the answer and still require a degree of thought to get help.

We took 2, 10 year olds and an 8 year old (his first escape room) to try the rise of Ra room. The staff was excellent at explaining the nature of the locks and explaining the room putting the youngest kid at ease. Had a great experience and the kids are eager to try another room in the future.

By far my favourite escape room location so far. Me and my bestie have been almost every weekend to try and finish all the escape rooms. The clues are great. The staff is ammmmmazing, so funny- always helpful and they always lead a helping hand when needed. The younger guys are funny and great with the pre story. Amazing game play- so fun!!!! So far we did 3 of them at that location and we hiiiiggghhhhllly recommend the vault and chapter one mothers love ( we are doing chapter 2 next ). ( least fav was the rise of the ra ) Thank you to the older gentleman for explaining something we missed and giving us a few extra needed minutes in the vault You guys are the best and i can’t wait for newer escape rooms to conquer at this location. we just finished with the escape room, my friend thought she booked the inside job but it didnt went through (not the management’s fault) so we had to choose a differ one. we did the apt 103, im a big scaredy cat which is why i was hesitant at first and although it was scary, it was actually fun and engaging. the staffs are very approachable. i highly recommend this place. def gonna come back to finally do the inside job.
