A lovely place to find Japanese goodies. Mainly house hold items but you will find gifts and other products you can bring with you, from tea packets to little figurines to a few different shirts and bowls. We found the store to be very clean and organized. The products are easy to view and handle. The owner was very welcoming and very nice and helpful! If you're new to area, there is public parking but you will have to pay. Parking is very tight and limited depending on the time of day. Would recommend coming here!

UPDATE: Nanao Kimono is still my wife's go-to for premium green tea. We found this hidden gem last year. We were looking for good quality matcha leaves and this place was selling them. The matcha leaves sold here were definitely high quality and we can really taste the difference. Since then, we have been back regularly when we run low. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. He has always tried to go above and beyond to help us get the product we need. In the past he has even given us products to try. He is also very knowledgeable about the stuff he sells. Yet he isn't arrogant and is very patient. Definitely worth supporting local!

First off, I would like to acknowledge Joriko for the beautiful thank you note that they wrote for me by hand. That is so sweet. Secondly, I just want say that the noren are beautiful. Here's a picture of one of them hanging in the entrance to our deck and back yard. I'm not sure if you can see it properly but the noren looks beautiful with our Japanese Maple standing in the background.

Beautiful furoshiki gift wrapping available. This is so beautiful that I am tempted to keep this for myself!!! The small size was only $5.99 and that includes the box, furoshiki wrap and the actual wrapping. I love this beautiful presentation.
