EDIT: Visions got the ball rolling on this company. They finally sent out technicians to fix my TV and it got fixed in a week. Not sure why this had to take 5 months with no communication but I’ll increase the star rating simply because the technicians were great. The company on the other hand is not a company I ever want to use again though.
We reached out to LG regarding the motherboard for our TV and they said it would not be possible to self install. They don’t know what they’re talking about.
We got the part for free through LG on our own and then Ken quoted us $100.00 to install since they came out the first time to diagnose and they wouldn’t charge that again.
My wife took the day off work to get the part installed. They no showed.
Then I stayed home today to have them finally come install this before Christmas. They were here maybe 30-45 minutes and then claimed I owed $260.00 for labour and «driving time».
They GOUGED us. Now we paid $360 total to have a part installed on our LG TV + 2 days off work (they give a 4 hour window on when they will show up – if they show up). saying it was «driving time». We live inner city Calgary which is in their driving limits in their website.
Do not trust them. Con artists.

The most unreliable company and services being provided by them. They have been playing with us since March 29th up until now May 27th The technician kept getting the wrong part and every time we had to wait for them to get an answer. In the end, they are saying it will cost this much. I can just buy a new stove for that price. The technician mentioned that we will get our $200.00 back in refund but the agent who has been emailing me keeps saying no u only getting $74 because $120 is for diagnostics fees. When nothing was fixed why should i pay for diagnostics fees? You could have told me sooner instead of wasting my time for TWO WHOLE MONTHS. Scam scam scam and never trust this company to come and repair any of your appliances. All they do is waste your time and have the technician basically lie to you that you will get your full refund back. It’s not my fault that your technician doesn’t know. If he said we are supposed to get full refund. You should be offering for full refund as he didn’t fix anything!!!

Edit: We did call Valley View Appliances with this exact request a few weeks back, and we were not helped. Here’s what we received from the previous owner indicating that you did the install (installation date, May 30/22, Valley View Appliances). I’m sure the microwave was installed correctly (so good job on that!) but the venting situation was obviously not done properly based on your experience. Obviously the previous owner didn’t push back, and that’s too bad, because now we are the ones having to remedy the poor work.
Bosch dishwasher quit on a Saturday night. I booked an appointment online on Sunday. Got a call first thing Monday morning to confirm an arrival time in the window I had requested on the day I had requested.
Steve arrived when he said he would and was courteous and professional. Before he ripped everything apart he spend time properly diagnosing the problem. It became apparent he had done his research AHEAD OF TIME; this meant he did not have to go away and return another day but instead he had the part with him! Impressive.
The defective part was replaced and Steve did a proper check for leaks. The dishwasher was then re-seated back under the counter better than it had been previously – even replacing a badly installed screw that had been scratching the door.
Throughout the process Steve clearly communicated the diagnosis, the cost and how long it would take. The work was done with covering on the floor to protect the hardwood; The dishwasher was re-installed perfectly and works like new and the area he worked was left clean and tidy.
If I have any appliance repair needs I’ll be calling Valley View again and should you call them and Steve comes to your door you know you are in good hands!
