Had a new heat pump installed by Phil and his assistant, Carter I believe. Both were very skilled, thorough, and professional. They took the time to do the job right and explain everything they were doing. They even corrected some of the poor workmanship that had been done by some previous technicians from another (unknown) business. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to anyone else. The quote for this job was done by Chris, who also did a fantastic job. It was evident that he knew the practical and technical side of the business, not just the sales side of things. Price and appointment availability was reasonable. Overall, this was a great experience.

I did a ton of homework regarding replacing my 10 year old humongous, noisy and most likely to leak any day water tank with a Rinnai Tankless Water System . I finally chose to go with Furnace Family Home Services by Atco Gas. Please read their website literature that details the procedures step by step till the installation is completed and your tankless system is inspected by the City of Calgary. My salesperson Jeff showed up on time, reviewed our situation with guarantees of a clean removal process of the old tank and a clean professional install of my new tankless system. Pricing was competitive and right in the middle of the other estimates I had received but with the Furnace Family Homes Services providing more confidence with their services, guarantees, warranties and even a seniors/ veterans discount. Well, Jeff said he would put his best team on this job and boy he sure did come through. Chad was the gas fitter/ plumber with his assistant Carter. All I can say is be prepared to be impressed. Chad and Carter have their working routine down very well. Chad is extremely organized, fussy, extremely knowledgeable professional tradesman. His finished installation was a work of art to say the least. Carter was there every time Chad needed his assistance, knew the parts requested and his routine to help finish the job. I highly recommend the Furnace Family Homes Services for your HVac/plumping needs but also demand to have both Chad and Carter do the install if you require a tankless system. In their main office I found it a pleasure to deal with Alanah regarding scheduling, documentation and our final City of Calgary inspection that confirmed compliant today. I requested a furnace replacement with Furnace Family Heating. An appropriate date was scheduled and Philip and Zoltan arrived at the appointed time. The lads were very polite, friendly and efficient. The old furnace was removed and taken away at no charge. The new unit was installed and several modifications to the attached hoses and wiring circuits were completed without additional expense to me. The unit and area were cleaned and the new furnace was tested. Everything worked perfectly. A great experience and a fine company to use for this installation. Thank you guys!

I've been using Furnace Family for about two years now, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. They installed a new gas furnace and AC unit on my house when I bought it. The team was friendly and easy to deal with, and the install team were efficient and took the time to answer any questions I had. During regular maintenance, the techs that come out are very friendly and are always willing to answer my questions. They're thorough, respectful of the house, and they typically come right on time. Furnace Family had to replace my AC unit, which was under warranty. The process was painless, they handled everything and the job was finished relatively quickly. The warranty continues on the new unit, which is awesome.
