The competitive estimate from Chris remained the same upon completion. Our painters, Tanya and Skye, did an awesome job on the prep work, interior wall painting of our 3 bedroom townhouse to final clean up. We required a minor touch up which was expertly completed within a short time frame. The communication from Erin was excellent. Any questions or information required were responded to immediately and same day, which was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Elite Trade Painting and thanks to everyone involved.

We had an excellent experience with Elite for our exterior painting project. Their estimate was very competitive especially considering the challenges of our tall house, narrow yard, and limited parking. What truly set them apart, however, was their ability to schedule us in on very short notice, which we greatly appreciated. After the initial work was completed, I requested a few additional touch ups, and they accommodated those within just a day. From start to finish, every interaction with the Elite team from estimator Chris to site supervisor Colin and the rest of the crew was professional, punctual, and courteous. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to the highest standard and that I was 100% satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend Elite to anyone looking for top-quality service and workmanship.

The estimate for our exterior painting was very competitive, even consideration of having a very tall house with a narrow yard/limited parking. Despite the great price, the main reason we went with them was their ability to fit us in very quickly, which we very much needed & appreciated. I requested that they came back after to do a few extra things, which they also accommodated within a day. All my dealings with Elite, from the estimator Chris, to the site supervisor Colin & his team and billing, were punctual, professional, and thoughtful. All members of the Elite team went out of their way to make sure everything was done to the highest standard and ensured I was satisfied with the work. Highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Elite. They painted the whole interior of our 3000 sq ft house. Their attention to detail was amazing, and the prep work was out of this world. The team was polite, respectful and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves every day, and I hardly knew they were here. The paint job looks great, the colour matching is right on. I’m a very happy customer.

I think Elite Trade Painting *could* be a great choice. Unfortunately, we didn't get their best, and when you're paying $9,000 for a job, you expect it—or at least more than we got. THE POSITIVE: Erin, their frontend manager, was responsive and apologetic throughout our project, present even through her wedding. She responded to our concerns and cared about how we felt. Jeff, one of their guys who inspects paint jobs, was empathetic and prompt. He gave me an honest assessment of the work and identified issues we hadn't noticed. Good guy. In the end, the paint job itself is solid, though that is (IMO) the expected standard for a paint company. THE NEGATIVE: We were given a crew that was new to Elite (we were job #2.) The communication and attention to detail from this crew was, to be blunt, terrible. Some of what we experienced: + The crew arrived at erratic hours without notice; no-showed when they were told to come clean up their garbage. + Our back deck furniture was removed onto our newly seeded lawn with no communication about when they'd come back to return it to where it was. In the end, I helped a completely different person from Elite put it back. + The crew detached our garage door to paint it. They forgot to reattach it, so my wife could not park our car in our garage in a rain/hail storm. We have three kids. She wasn't thrilled. + The crew left their painting gear in our garage without any discussion as to where might be best or if we were even okay with this. + Our screen door was reinstalled incorrectly, causing damage and some bumpers/screws missing. No accountability on this at all (?!) and I had to reinstall it properly myself. + The crew left tape all over our grass, as well as leftover waste from stripping the wood. My lawn still has flakes and chunks. + When the crew left, they put their garbage with our residential garbage. I had to contact Elite to fix this. + One of our downspouts was reinstalled incorrectly (diagonally); comically obvious this was not how it was originally. + All of our downspouts were removed at once and left off in a rainstorm, preventing us from collecting rainwater during water restrictions. + Several windows were splattered with paint, as noted by Jeff, and splatters were left in other places as well. + There were paint splatters on our raspberry/strawberry bushes, and no precautions were taken to mitigate this. Not even a bedsheet. + The crew got paint splatters all over our hose attachment. + Our overhang for our downspout was not completely painted, leaving it at a risk for peeling. + All of the leftover paint was put under our back bench with no note as to where this was or communication of any kind. When I raised these concerns with Erin, she took them to leadership. They never called m me to talk about them; always deferring to Erin. Maybe it's an unreasonable expectation on my part, but I was surprised. Brad did ask (through Erin) if I'd be willing to relay all of the concerns in an in-person meeting with him and the crew. I wasn't wild about confronting the crew to their faces given I'd made them come back several times to address the issues they'd created. I also did not feel that this would be a good use of my time, so I opted out. I did provide all of my concerns in writing in a list so they could be shared. I do appreciate what they wanted to do here in terms of accountability, but for someone agitated by the process already, it wasn't the right move for me. To Elite's credit, they did send someone different (Kyle) back to finish the work properly, and he fixed up the splatters. The work finally did get completed, and again, the paint looks nice, which for $9,000 you'd expect. Ironically, we got a 10% off coupon in the mail after our work started. Even just honoring this would've helped -- but it couldn't be applied to an existing quote. Elite came off of referral from someone I trust. I'm happy my house is painted, but disappointed in the process.

We have a 3000 sq ft house, and we just had the whole of my main floor and hallway repainted. Generally I do not like working with trades people. They don't show up, they cut corners and leave a mess. But in this case the crew I had were totally awesome. They showed up on the dot every morning 8:00AM, and worked diligently throughout the day. The result is beyond excellent. They quickly solved a minor problem with paint selection, and did so without any fuss or bother. Elite were recommended to me by my son's father in law, and I am glad I took his advice who has also had 3 jobs done by Elite. The price was fair and the result is excellent. When engaging with Elite ask to have Colin's crew do your work!
