We needed to get our outside doors and garage door painted. We decided to go with the team at The Urban Painter and I'm so glad we did. The whole process was so smooth and easy, from getting the quote, coordinating the work and getting it done, it was just flawless. Everyone was very professional, organized and customer oriented. Thanks to David for all the back and forth, Shelby for coordinating the work and more so to Reid and his teammate who did a fantastic job! We couldn't be happier with the results. We had Urban Painter do our kitchen cabinets. They were responsive via email and extremely professional. They went above and beyond for a few details too once snags were encountered during the job. I was very impressed with Cody, who was very friendly and accommodating to our family with little kids (and not having a kitchen for several days!) The staff was punctual, reliable and did an amazing job that we are very happy with.

We recently hired Urban Painters for the exterior of our century old house. The project was very complex and detailed. Urban Painters did an excellent job from start to finish including ongoing communication, colour consultation, carpentry work on the porch, repair of bird holes and other damage, and overall attention to detail. Kudos to the project lead, Stu, who went above and beyond to ensure the job was done properly and to our complete satisfaction. Five stars!!

We hired The Urban Painter recently to complete an interior paint project including main floor, stair well and upper floor. All staff that we interacted with were very friendly, however the quality of work we received by the team initially assigned to our project was poor and very disappointing based on our expectations secondary to all of the positive 5 star reviews. Issues included paint on floor and window frames, paint chipped off, visible dribbles of paint on the walls, air bubbles, and a few areas that had only received one coat of paint after being told it was "complete". The Urban Painter did send a more skilled painter to fix up the project who did a good job, but we had to ask to have him come twice to complete fixes which dragged out the project time frame. In the end the paint project is complete and looks okay, but we are disappointed knowing that it wasn’t completed by a skilled/experienced team initially and instead was completed poorly and then fixed up. We felt that we had to continuously check the work to ensure the quality was good, instead of feeling confident that the company was doing a good job.
