Sandy was absolutely amazing! The very first wedding rings she picked out for us were the exact kind we had in mind before we even came in. We tried shopping around elsewhere because Ben Moss was the first store we went to, but we ended up coming back because we loved the rings she picked out and she was so friendly, helpful, and personable. We only wanted to buy from her! Thank you so much Sandy and for being patient and kind and making us feel comfortable when we had trouble with our cards at first! We really appreciate your help in helping us find our dream rings for our wedding. 🙂

Well, I seem to find myself having to write this review, after giving them a few chances. My poor Grandma's ring had been sitting in my jewellery box for years because of a missing stone. I finally had enough money to take it in two years ago to get it fixed. They replaced the sapphire stone and unfortunately months later I lost it again. (They told me it was a different stone but I'm sure it was the same one). In November of last year I took it in again to have the stone replaced and the clasps fixed. I got the ring back the first week of December and woke up this morning, to find the stone gone. Sadly, my Grandma's beautiful ring is going back into the jewellery box, and I won't be back to Ben Moss again, even if it's to buy new jewellery. EDIT: I contacted the store at Chinook and had the stone replaced (which I paid for). The work was covered and done to put in a new stone and have the clasps rechecked. I got the ring back the other day. Here is hoping to a long lasting ring that means so much to me.

I wanted to leave a review for Lauren after my experience at Ben Moss today. It was my first day ring shopping, and she left a great impression! We had visited three other jewellers before coming to Ben Moss. At People’s, no one came over to ask if we needed assistance, and at the other two, the staff didn’t seem particularly excited or engaged with the rings I liked. For reference, I’m in my early 20s, so it’s easy for people to make assumptions or dismiss someone ring shopping at a younger age. But Lauren had a completely different approach, the first thing she said to me was Congratulations! She was warm, engaging, listened to what I liked, showed me a range of great options, and encouraged me to ask questions. She also took the time to write down the styles I liked and gave me a way to contact her afterward, something none of the other stores did. I’m not done shopping yet, but Lauren left such a great impression that I’ll definitely be back!

I still can’t wrap my head around how I was treated by Francis. Every time I think about how he treated me I get more upset. First of all, you should never treat your customers differently when they are returning something because you won’t get their business again. I came to the store to return a ring that was exchanged just two days ago. A lady greeted me and was processing the transaction. While she was doing that he came in and asked for my original receipt then took a copy of it, then he took over the transaction and told me: okay you’ll get $60 back with an attitude. I was supposed to get $460 back so I was confused and told him this is the amount I should be getting. It took him over 15 minutes to process it while jumping and talking to other people about the transaction as if I’m trying to scam the system or something. I waited and gave him all the time he wants even though I felt so uncomfortable because I was getting a weird tone from him and an attitude. The sweet lady felt the tension so she started talking to me to smooth things up, while I was telling the lady why I’m returning the ring, he jumped to the conversation with an attitude and said what’s wrong with the ring!! I said nothing it’s just I don’t justify paying this much for the carats after I saw it online. So we started arguing about the ring and how much gold it has and all he was saying was complete nonsense because I don’t need someone to educate me about gold and jewelry. Then he started talking about gold in North America and you people think 10k gold is fake and some other nonsense stuff!! So yeah he was just being racist because I’m a person of color and he just assumed that I need to be reminded that gold here is not the same as back-home!!! Then he wanted to make it harder about payment after he finally finalized everything and saw everything was legit and I should be getting back $460. I hate when people think they’re better than other people by talking them down. I really hope Francis fixes their attitude and learn how to treat people right. There was no need for all his comments and even his help because I was already being helped. To Ben Moss, I hope you take this seriously because I’m pretty sure I saw other bad comments about this employee.

We were shopping for rings yesterday, and Laura was awesome—seriously patient and a huge help. Everything was going great until my parents just casually asked Laura to see if a discount was possible with her manager. Out of nowhere, this other Filipina employee (on her nameplate it says ‘diamond expert’ with a short to medium length hair) who wasn't a manager, rudely cut in. She started giving this stern lecture about people losing jobs and having bills, which was just bizarre and totally unprompted (her point was we should not be given a discount but when asked by the manger we eventually got the discount). It really put my parents on the spot and made them feel pretty awkward, especially since she wasn't even part of our conversation. We were quite put off by the unprofessional attitude of that Filipina associate, which almost discouraged my parents not to buy the ring from this store. It was only due to Laura's exceptional help that we ultimately made the purchase.

Second review for Ben moss at the Chinook centre location.i would give them an additional star if that was possible. Brian and Francis truly gave us the best service one can ask for. Genuine, patient, educational and most importantly supported us through the process. I had purchased the engagement right with them and we came back to buy the wedding bands and the service did not disappoint. We feel so lucky to have had them on ou side helping us through these very special times in our life. Thank you ❤️
