I had to write this based on my wife and I’s recent experience. It is sad that it has come to this but this treatment is unacceptable. I bought a memorable engagement ring and wedding band set for my wife which has heavy sentimental value as all rings do with our special Mexico wedding over 7 years ago. My wife continually gets it cleaned and checked as part of warranty / extra coverage care plan. We dropped it off for said cleaning Nov. 2024 and a week later received a phone call saying the ring was "lost" on the way to the cleaning company. The shipment was indeed stolen. We received another call saying they would do everything they can do replace it from their regional manager. Months pass by. Finally after a phone call and some light pressure from myself after hearing nothing, we received a replacement ring, late February 2025. This ring and the wedding band was not soldered together, even though our original was. They had to ship it away again, taking it away from us one more time, even though that’s on them and their failure to recognize the paperwork instructions. When my wife went to pick it up, the manager of the Southcentre Mall store berated her and made it seem like it was her fault that she wanted the ring soldered and to be a as perfect as possible replica of our original, memorable ring. The solder job was lacking, with a very distinct gap between the two rings, nothing like the original. She left the store crying, calling me upset due to the way she was treated. All because the store lost our ring, no fault of ours. The customer service has been extremely poor this entire time. In hindsight, I would like to take my business elsewhere and recommend others to be careful buying into this company. As a final comment, I would say the ladies that work in the store are very kind and supportive, but this store manager has ruined the relationship. The regional manager was contacted as well, with no support given.

In my opinion, it is advisable to avoid purchasing jewelry from this establishment due to the poor quality of the products. I personally have not purchased any jewelry from this store and would not recommend it to others. I recently purchased a Belcher bracelet for $465.00 on July 31, 2024. Unfortunately, the bracelet broke near the clasp last December, necessitating a repair at South Centre. Despite the bracelet being repaired in the middle of January, it broke again last night, this time in the clasp. I visited South Centre to inquire about a refund, as I am concerned about the possibility of further damage to the bracelet. The store manager informed me that an exchange was possible, but I would need to wait for their approval. It is particularly concerning that the bracelet has broken twice already, despite having a 12-month warranty and the option for a refund if I am not satisfied. Furthermore, the store manager suggested that the bracelet may be subject to wear and tear, which is not the case in this instance. It’s very inconvenience as I have a child that I carry all the time and I am concerned about the potential for further damage. It is unacceptable that the bracelet broke immediately after the repair, especially considering its high cost of $465.00.

My parents bought my daughter earrings for her grad. In less than 2 months the back of the earrings broke. We went into the store to get a replacement of the back, not even a new pair of earrings. The manager wanted us to purchase a new back for the earrings, she said that since we didn’t have a receipt for the earrings there was nothing we can do. She wouldn’t even look up the purchase in their system. She was not willing to help us.

Feb 13 2025 another 5 stars was back to purchase a ring. Spoke with Mandy again and received excellent service. As this was a gift and had to have the correct size. Good news it was and I am very pleased did not have to have a customized order. Thanks you Mandy for your service also to the other Team members well done. The customers that were in the store were treated with professionalism. First time buyer, gift for Xmas. Mandy L and her Team mate first class. They took their time and outlined the product. Very professional overall as I had a few questions on the purchase. Took the 3 year warranty based on feedback and not expensive. I felt very comfortable dealing with the two ladies, thank you Mandy for the very kind assistance and also the other lady. Well done.

I've made 2 big purchases here and I'm very happy with them both. The most recent being a stunning pear shaped ruby on a thin gold band of diamonds. They have a great selection and I seem to find more styles I love here than some of the other main jewelry stores in the mall. Service has been excellent. I docked a star only because the other jewellers in the mall have the diamond guarantee and much better warranty whereas here it's an upsale.

This place is a joke and everyone in here are liars just to make a sale. We bought a ring and one of the smallest stones fell out. They told us that’s ok just bring it in and we will replace it no charge. We come and bring it in and special mention to assistant manager Jorge , tells us we never said that to you and basically calling us liars. We were talking normally and not raising our voices while he is escalating the situation by threatign us; me my wife and my 3 year old kid that he is going to call security to remove us because we called them out for lying. This guy is a joke of an assistant manager . Can’t even handle a calm situation and escalating it . Stay away and save your money . These guys rings and jewelry have poor quality and they don’t even have any decency when someone is with their wife and young child . Shame on Michael hill for hiring someone like Jorge . How does someone like him become manager. 1st rule of complain is to listen to a customer and de-escalate a situation not escalate it by threading security to people who are not even shouting and taking calmly . Terrible customer service .
