Huge thanks to Joseph and Larry for an unforgettable tour! Joseph has a sharp eye—he spotted bears and mule deer that we would’ve totally missed on our own. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and made the whole trip engaging and fun. Larry, our driver, was excellent—he drove safely the entire time and even helped with my luggage. It was my first time visiting Banff National Park, and this tour made it truly special. I highly recommend booking with them—definitely a five-star experience!

We joined a 4-day tour with Westar and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience.

For the first two days from Calgary to Banff, our guide was Simon. He was friendly, funny, and kept the group entertained while sharing useful information. He made the trip lively and enjoyable.

On the third day, we had Yongbin. Unfortunately, his guiding style didn’t suit us. He spent much of the time comparing Canadian scenery with places in China, which felt out of place—we were here to experience and appreciate Canada. We would have preferred more relevant and engaging commentary about the local sights.

The final day with Patrick was the highlight. He was wonderful—very friendly, professional, and informative. His warm personality made the day feel special, and we truly appreciated his effort in making our tour memorable.

Overall, it was a lovely tour. While there were some ups and downs, we’re glad we joined and especially thankful to Simon and Patrick for making the trip enjoyable.

We recently did a tour in Banff and had the pleasure of having Lisa as our guide. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. We spent three excellent days with our driver 超哥 and guide Patrick. Patrick will send texts to us at least 12 hours beforehand and advised us of our trip plan for the next day before we exit the car. He also helped us with checking in the hotels and recommended restaurants. We liked the stories and local culture he shared with us during the trips. The driver was very nice! Very safe and pleasant trip overall.

The first day of our Banff tour was truly enjoyable! Our guide Lisa was humorous and engaging in her commentary, the itinerary was well-organized, and she was very knowledgeable about every attraction. She shared great tips on food, fun, and photo spots, making the whole day both relaxing and fulfilling. Our driver Larry drove smoothly and handled our luggage with care — we truly appreciate his hard work and professionalism!

Tomorrow, we’ll be with a different guide and driver, and we hope the rest of the trip goes just as smoothly!

Edward was 15/10. Sooo incredible. We went to so many places and he took us to the most picturesque spots. He even stopped if we wanted to pull over and see something. He provided ponchos for the rain and was the best tour guide. Side note: we were actually booked for a different tour and William let us switch last minute. Best choice ever! If you’re considering it’s 100% worth the money – we would have never been able to do this on our own even though we rented a car!

Captain Mike and his driver were great hosts, they made sure everyone had fun during the tour. The lack of communication and ordering drinks in advance was frustrating though. I sent 2 emails at least 3 weeks in advance and did not get replies. I had to call several times to get an answer and was close to cancelling because I did not know if it was still happening.

Awesome Day Exploring Lake Louise, Moraine Lake & Johnston Canyon

We did a full-day tour of Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Johnston Canyon, and it ended up being one of the best experiences of our trip to Alberta.

Lake Louise was our first stop, and it totally lived up to the hype. The view of the lake with the Fairmont Chateau in the background is iconic. We had time to walk along the shoreline, grab a coffee, and relax. The whole area felt really calm and scenic, and the turquoise water was as beautiful as expected.

Moraine Lake came next, and honestly, it was jaw-dropping. The color of the water is even more intense than Lake Louise, and the surrounding peaks make it feel like you’re in a dream. We got there before it got too busy, which made it feel even more special. We took a ton of photos and just soaked in the mountain views.

Johnston Canyon was our last stop and a perfect way to wrap up the day. The walk through the canyon was easy and super scenic, with catwalks right over the rushing water and beautiful waterfalls at the end. It’s shaded, peaceful, and really cool to explore.

One of the best parts of the tour was our guide, Andrew. They were not only super knowledgeable, but also really funny and personable. They shared great local stories, kept the group engaged, and made the whole day feel fun and relaxed.

The bus was comfy, and everything was well-timed—we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each spot.

If you’re visiting Alberta and want to see some of the Rockies’ top highlights all in one day, we’d definitely recommend this tour. Totally worth it!

I could not think of a better way to see the sights around Banff (Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Emerald Lake, Natural bridge, and Bow Falls) than through our tour; especially after learning that some of the best spots are only accessible by bus! Our lovable tour guide, Gray was a delight; his enthusiasm for the mountains made the trip extra enjoyable. He took us to the best photo spots! And our bus driver Binyam was not only friendly but extremely good at navigating our huge coach bus along narrow mountain roads. We felt safe and in good hands. Highly recommend this tour!

This was a well-organized off-season tour with clear communication about which sites would be closed—and great alternatives were provided. Our guide, Rhonda, a local of Banff, was fantastic. She shared insightful history of the region and explained how Canada is working to protect wildlife while welcoming tourism.

Though I didn’t spot a moose or bear, I did see a wolf and enjoyed views of stunning snow-covered mountain ranges. Using crampons for the first time was a fun and unique experience that made the hike even more memorable.

The pick-up and drop-off in Canmore were convenient, and the pacing of the tour was good overall. My only suggestion: the 45-minute stop in downtown Banff and at Bow Falls could be shortened or skipped to allow more time at Johnson Canyon, especially to reach the upper falls.

Overall, this was a meaningful, scenic, and educational day in the Rockies led by a passionate and knowledgeable local. Highly recommend!

Had a blast on the 20 day Thailand trip with Cody, Julie & Mike! It was a crazy adventure filled with gorgeous beaches and delicious food. Each destination was quite different, which gave us a taste of everything. They also offered awesome included activities and sick optional ones like bungee jumping and an elephants rescue! Our leaders were always organized and we had an amazing group of travellers. I would definitely recommend Free& Easy and hope to book another trip with them shortly!

Just got back from the Costa Rica/Panama 10 day trip with Karina and Josh and it was amazing! It was my first time traveling solo and I can’t wait to do another Free and Easy trip soon. The group was awesome and the activities were well-planned and so much fun. White water rafting (included in the trip cost) was incredible and the leaders went out of their way to set up a zip-lining excursion for a few of us even though it wasn’t on the original itinerary. This is a great way to see a lot of the Rockies especially if you only have one day. Our driver/guide, Stephen Anthony, was excellent. He was full of information and kept us entertained.

We wish we had more than 1 hour and 15min in BANFF. That is just not enough time to explore AND eat lunch. Our guide was very nice and informative. However, she had terrible dental hygiene with foul smelling breath throughout the van. That was somewhat annoying. Beautiful scenery however! Magical place!

I took a tour on Christmas Day and it was really amazing! Our tour guide Deniz welcomed us with hot coffee and lead us to beautiful areas of the spots. We could spend happy holiday thanks to him. I really recommend to visit Banff in winter season. It was more beautiful than summer for me.

I took the 5 day Rockies Tour and had a brilliant experience. Firstly, I had David as my guide for all 5 days and he was fantastic. Very accommodating and knowledgeable, providing continuous facts through every area that he visited and drove through. Sadly, due to recent wildfires, the Maligne Canyon is currently closed, but was replaced with other locations to ensure that we got the most out of the day. Other than that, the tour took me to every place that I wished to see and was everything I imagined! Beautiful scenery and we even got to see Bears, Elks, Bighorn Sheep, Bobcats, and a Chipmunk! A very special place and I will definitely be returning to the Rockies. Would highly recommend this tour and company.

I stumbled across 10 Adventures after being let down by another very well known company and as you can imagine putting your trust into a company I had never heard of before was somewhat daunting!
The trek was awesome albeit hard work! There were a few very minor issues which were rectified immediately
But I just want to recognise some of the staff who helped make it possible.
Kelsey was absolutely brilliant and was so helpful in arranging everything and ensuring that the process was smooth. I would have been totally stuck without her help and she helped to make a great Christmas present happen. I cannot thank her enough. She really went above and beyond in helping me.

We have done 2 self-guided trips with 10 Adventures so far , a hike through the gorges across Crete and a bike ride along the Canal du Midi. Both times have been the best vacations we could imagine, it’s wonderful to have hotels booked and luggage taken care of while you go off on your own adventure at your own schedule. The accommodations have always been lovely , we’ve never had any issue that the team can’t take care of right away, and customizing your itinerary is easy. Plus they are always available for support by phone or email if needed. My wife and I went on a self directed bike trip in Portugal from Porto to Coimbra. We worked with Nadine at 10adventures who was extremely helpful in helping us modify our trip as far as the itinerary and the hotels

The route is easy, flat biking- perfect for us seniors, with spectacular views along the coast on excellent bike paths for the most part or quiet secondary roads.

The bikes were excellent- Specialized Rockhoppers- very well equipped. On one of my rides, the chain broke, and I called the emergency number given to us by the supplier- Viniturs and they arranged for the chain to be fixed – very well handled.

Thanks Nadine for your help, we are looking forward to our next bike trip.

Tip: the Duoro Valley just east of Porto is spectacular. We visited there for 3 days just prior to the bike trip. It is extremely hilly, but we went on 2 self directed bike day tours of the valley through the vineyards which were easy to do on e-bikes and were gorgeous. Well worth visiting, with or without bikes.

10 Adventures made my 50th birthday trip to Greece one that I will never forget. Nadine answered all my questions, checked on us while we were there and when we got home. All of our guides were phenomenal and a wealth of information. We had drivers who drove us from point A to point B, always on time and polite. Hotels were not a disappointment. Our 4-day sightseeing tour with Alberta Blue Sky Tours was a complete success. We were incredibly fortunate to have Duncan as our guide—he was professional, well-educated, and impressively knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. From the history of Canada to the local wildlife and geography, Duncan shared fascinating insights throughout the journey. He’s like a walking encyclopedia, and his passion for what he does truly enhanced our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable trip.

Delano was our tour guide for 2 separate tours in and around Banff. He was extremely knowledgeable and a fun guide on each tour. He made sure we were all safe on his van. The van was brand new and very clean. His recommendations for places to eat in town and things to do were excellent. His stories of the area were entertaining. I would highly recommend having Delano as a tour guide again.

Alberta Blue Sky Tours provided the perfect ending to our unforgettable Rocky Mountaineer journey. Their large-capacity shuttle bus was clean, spacious, and comfortable, which was perfect for relaxing after busy days aboard the train. The tour operators and drivers were friendly, helpful, and open to answering all of our questions, sharing insightful and engaging information about the Rockies throughout the tour. Overall, everything was well-organized, timely, and made us feel well cared for from start to finish. We send a big ‘thank you’ to Delano! We had 2 rours with Delano Paquin-Mannington of Alberta Blue Sky Tours that were absolutely fabulous. The first was a half day tour of Jasper & the second was a tour from Jasper to Lake Louise. His knowledge of the area was outstanding and he was able to answer all our questions & curiosities. On top of that his hospitality & personality are second to none. Jake was an excellent tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He knew so much about Banff, it’s geography, wildlife, people and attractions.

My wife and I enjoyed the trans-Canada rail vacation through Canada Rail vacations. The train experience itself was outstanding but what made the trip «one of a Lifetime» were the private tours that CR arranged for us with the best guides ever! We first met Kat on tour 1 of 3 that she led for us exploring Banff, Lake Louise and surrounding areas, and we have never met anyone who had so many common interests and a wonderful upbeat personality that instantly connected with us and quickly became a good friend of ours in a very short amount of time. She is interesting, funny, adventurous, good photographer and a wonderful guide and someone who seemed like a long lost friend and we just met her at a reunion! She was a highlight of our trip! Best guide ever, and Kat showed us many wonderful sights in one of the most beautiful areas in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Can’t say enough great things for our guide and new friend Kat! We hope to cross paths again in the future! Highly, highly recommend Kat and the tours they offer! 10+ Kats out of 10!!

Guro was absolutely amazing! He made our day trip to Emerald Lake, Moraine, Louise, Johnston Canyon and Banff Town so much fun. Guro was super patient, especially since my partner has medical conditions with their hip during the tour that we booked. he made sure we could take our time and enjoy everything at our own pace.
