I had a good experience visiting the tower and I had a blast. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended to avoid the wait because believe me, it’s long. The ride in the elevator wasn’t as long as I expected and no turmoil. It’s beautiful view of downtown Calgary

Really cool experience. Honestly didn’t care to go up but my 13 year old was adamant that he had to go up. Very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed myself. Stunning views and the glass floor is very cool.

Cool experience. No wait, went during a Tuesday evening. We booked our tickets online. Was neat to see the city, and you can see the rocky mountains off in the distance. We parked a couple blocks away. They have a giftshop on the main floor when you exit the elevator.

Solid, fun way to view the city. It had a step out area where you can look down which was fun. Parking can be tough.
Their signage explaining what was where was a bit old and new buildings had been built so that seemed like an odd oversight but that’s what this was good not great.

I visited Calgary Tower on 16 June 2025. There were no queues, so I was able to buy my ticket—about 24 Canadian dollars—and head straight up. The observation deck offers a full 360° view of the city with the Rocky Mountains in the distance, and there’s also a glass-floor extension where you can step out and look straight down at the streets below. It’s a quick and easy stop if you’re already in downtown Calgary, and it was nice to see the city from a different perspective.

An iconic symbol of the city’s skyline, Calgary Tower stands 190 meters tall, offering breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of downtown Calgary, the rolling prairies, and the majestic Rocky Mountains. Featuring a glass-floored observation deck, the tower provides a thrilling perspective high above the streets. Visitors can also enjoy fine dining at Sky 360, a revolving restaurant with ever-changing views. Whether admiring a sunset, spotting landmarks, or experiencing the tower’s nightly LED light displays, Calgary Tower is a must-visit attraction in the heart of the city.

I took the 5 day Rockies Tour and had a brilliant experience. Firstly, I had David as my guide for all 5 days and he was fantastic. Very accommodating and knowledgeable, providing continuous facts through every area that he visited and drove through. Sadly, due to recent wildfires, the Maligne Canyon is currently closed, but was replaced with other locations to ensure that we got the most out of the day. Other than that, the tour took me to every place that I wished to see and was everything I imagined! Beautiful scenery and we even got to see Bears, Elks, Bighorn Sheep, Bobcats, and a Chipmunk! A very special place and I will definitely be returning to the Rockies. Would highly recommend this tour and company.

Harmony is a beautiful, family friendly, award winning community by Qualico and Bordeaux Developments. From the spectacular lake (the largest and deepest in Calgary) the parks, pathways, future school and amenities village… this community has it all. Just a short drive to the Rockies and close to the city, there is a reason why this is such a popular and affordable community for so many Calgary families.

Neighbourhood right by an airport. Showtime guy said flight paths.don’t fly over the houses, but that doesn’t matter. When planes have to crash land they are landing on a non standard flight path usually, i.e. the Harmony neighbourhood. Don’t get me wrong, nice layout, nice.houses, reputable builders, but a. It out of the way to get a suburban house with airplanes near.by. I love to golf as well, but not enough to move that far out of the city.

I truly love this community but please please don’t buy from Homes by Avi. Their sales team are great people that this company don’t deserve and their warranty guy told me to my face that they won’t tear up the wall to fix the mistake they made. I said that is not what I paid for and the guy ignored me and went on to tell the technician to do what he can while making the hole in the wall as small as possible. THEN HE MADE MY WIFE CARRY DOWN A LADDER FROM UPSTAIRS FOR HIM TO PAINT BECAUSE HIS IS DIRTY. «DO YOU WANT MUD ALL OVER YOUR FLOOR?» HE SAID. I called him an a-hole for that as most people in this situation would, then got an email from their warranty manager saying they will no longer handle our warranty for health and safety concerns. Come to 30 Brome Bend to check out their great work if you want.

I visited the visitor center with my families on July 21 between 530 pm to 545 pm. The staff was not friendly at all. My 3-yr-old was excited about the trip in Cochrane and was curious about everything. She was just exploring the visitor center, but a male staff (or maybe he’s just a friend of the staff) kept stopping her from getting near things. When my daughter tried to touch the flyers on the wall, that man said no! you can’t touch it! Only look! Weren’t the flyers there for visitors to collect? And when my father took my daughter to a picture on the floor and pointed her the bear in the picture, that man said no! You can’t touch it! They actually barely touched it! They were just pointing at the picture. If the picture is so valuable or fragile, why on earth is was kept on the floor? Why not having it framed nicely and hang on the wall?
During our visit for about 10-15 mins, that man stopped my daughter from «touching» things in the room for 5-6 times! This is super annoying as it was not her intention to damage or dirty anything, and she barely get close to anything at all as that man kept stopping her. I was shocked that a place like this is so not family friendly! The staff behaved in a way that makes me feel like it’s not a visitor center, but rather a fancy museum that not everyone could afford.
I’m thinking to file a final complaint, I wonder what is the email address I could send. Does anyone know?

The city is investing in its attractions year after year. Music centre, new library, river walk, pathways, bridges, and parks have been either built or redeveloped in just a few years. I would love to see Bow and Elbow rivers utilized more through taxi boats and river cruise. Downtown must see certain changes in the main streets layout if the city wants to increase its density and attract tourists. Street car would be a great transit asset, epsecially if it would connect Beltline, Inglewood, downtown and Kensington.
