The campus is large and well kept. There are many amenities available and good professors, and the institution is mainly focused on research. Your experience here will be what you make of it. It’s a safe environment for meeting people and opportunities.

it's not absolutely stunning like the uni of Saskatchewan or whatever, but there are lots of great services here. the affordable food market, the cheap / free food initiatives like the stew at the Den and free fruits in certain areas, the Olympic oval, the pool, and the free sanitary products for women all over campus, these are all things that help students a lot during the daily grind. the only thing is that I think the group fitness classes should be free for students because that's what other unis do.

An incredible experience visiting the lush green main campus of University of Calgary! Accessibility to and fro campus with public transport is extremely convenient with multiple bus stops inside the campus and the University C-Train station, which is well connected to the campus by a flyover pedestrian bridge. Ample parking spaces inside the campus also make it convenient to come to the campus in your personal vehicle. You will also find campus directories at regular intervals to navigate around the campus, along with multiple walkways which lead to different buildings and departments. The campus is quite big, with multiple departmental and administrative buildings such as Schulich School of Engineering, Taylor Family Digital Library, MacKimmie Library Tower, MacEwan Student Center to name a few. The campus also accommodates the iconic Olympic Oval, built for the 1988 Winter Olympics. The diverse range of programs and the vibrant student community make it a great place to learn and grow. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch education in a welcoming environment! Check out images & follow for more.

University of Calgary is one of the well known educational institutions in Canada and is located in the beautiful city of Calgary. I had a chance to visit this university briefly while I was on my visit to Calgary. The surroundings of this place or nice and they also have beautiful housings for the students.

Left on a sour note after taking a particularly problematic course in the mechanical engineering department. TA who graded my test scored me below 50% when all of my answers were correct, verifiably and provably so. Prof refused to correct it, citing that it is what it is and that TA’s are consistent in their application of grading rules - some bullshit answer. I took it up to the department, and they sided with the prof because he’s a colleague and I’m just some student. CS department is good though, no bad things to say about them.
