Ashley Wilson with Crossroads Law has been representing me and I've been extremely pleased with all of the work she has done. She is professional and caring, knowledgeable and determined. Ashley takes the time to listen, and can quickly ascertain what needs to be done, always confirming that I am in agreement, and comfortable with the decisions and timing. I feel like she will do what it takes to ensure the outcomes are fair and just. Knowing that Ashley, along with her assistant Samantha, are working diligently to look after my best interests, has given me such peace of mind during a difficult time. I'm a relatively new client at this firm, and have had a decent amount of experience dealing with law firms in general. I think good client relations are important to call out, every person I've had contact with at this firm has been great. From the most basic interacting of calling to ask a billing question, to seeing up a meeting with my lawyer, to obtaining documents to sign in a timely manner. They are client centered and it shows. Ashley and Samantha are an excellent team, I've found them both to be wonderfully direct, professional and kind. It's been a pleasure to witness, both a passion for family law and clients. Just like a single negative interaction can turn a person away from a business, multiple exemplary interactions can make a client feel like they've partnered with the right people.

After five long years of fighting for someone to advocate for my partner and his son, we finally found hope with Ashley and Samantha. After countless calls and emails to lawyers—only to be told we had no chance of gaining access to the child—Ashley and Samantha were the glimmer of hope we so desperately needed. Not only have they spent countless hours fighting for the child’s best interests, but they also gave us a real fighting chance. They navigated every hurdle with unwavering dedication, supporting not just my partner and me but also ensuring the child’s basic needs were met. As income has always been a barrier for gaining counsel , Ashley has been very reasonable , understanding and supportive through our barriers - As hard income is the money is very much worth it ! As someone who struggles with the unknown—leading to many emails and questions—Samantha has always been there with answers, and Ashley as well. Their patience, guidance, and expertise have been invaluable. We cannot express enough gratitude for everything they have done. They have truly changed our lives, and not a day goes by that we aren’t eternally grateful.

Karolina is a great family lawyer and easy to talk to. She made a difficult process feel much less overwhelming. I’d highly recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.

Cross roads law firm is horrible. Do not suggest. I used Yasemin Ahmen. She took me on and I paid the retainer. She spoke with me once on the phone and answered some emails she then left for vacation For over two weeks. I needed her the most then so I reached out asking if it was urgent I got no reply other then she will be back soon.when she did come back she told me she was already fully booked but could fit me in but would charge me an urgent fee moving forward. They charged me over 90 dollars for two short voice mails asking if my issue was urgent or not and I got one reply for it from her assistant telling me she will be back soon. They will charge you just for booking an appointment as they charge 30 dollars for every email. They did nothing for me and charged me just under 2000 and still have my retainer. I’m scared to call and ask for it as I’m worried they will charge me for a call asking for it. On top of all that she was hard to work with as I gave her some information that was not true about me and before I was able to explain she told me I should not do what the lie said wasting money and putting me on the defence. She did not let me review emails be she sent them to other lawyer. I did not feel supported by this law firm in anyway. It delayed me getting help for my child and I causing harm to us. Highly do not recommend this lawyer.

I can't say enough about the folks at Crossroads Law. I agonized and researched a lot before I hired a divorce lawyer, and I stand by my results. Absolutely fantastic bunch. But in particular I need to mention Gloria Choo. Gloria was the paralegal assigned to help with my file. She was like a brilliant octopus the way she handled documents and issues. Opposing counsel made a raft of clerical errors, but Gloria was swift to spot and address them as they arose. But as much as she's able to handle issues, Gloria's humanity, heart, humour, and support meant everything to me. While I hope I don't need a lawyer again anytime soon, if I do, Crossroads Law will be my choice.

I am very happy with Ashley at Crossroads Family Law. She has worked very hard for me and has been very fair in billing. What I like most about Ashley is that she understands what needs to be done for successful results and is able to explain the procedures and updates for my case in a way that I understand and leaves me at a state of ease.
