STAY CLEAR OF EQ3
July 10-2025 Update - The store had advised us the fabric was in stock and the couch was in production. Fast forward to today, the fabric is actually still not in, the couch is not expected to go into production until end of September with October delivery. They have now offered to refund for our couch, noting our chairs were now delivered to Calgary. We purchased both to compliment one another, so there is no option to go another direction. Had this company been honest, we never would of placed a nearly $10,000 order through them. We are now at the whims, we may or may not get the couch by the end of the year. I would not be surprised if this now is delayed into 2026. The funniest thing is no thought at all to offer any discount or any form of compensation for the worst service imaginable. I will make sure to advise everyone to avoid this company, unless you are looking to buy a couch that will be vintage by the time you get it.
Seeing similar reviews on here, promised timing on items, and now falling flat on delivering. We ordered our couches and chairs over 3 months ago, 1 month before we moved into our new home.
We’ll be lucky if we get them now likely by September. They did offer free delivery which was something, but also offered a discount on buying more from the store at the same discount rate that was advertised on their website.
We hope the quality is good because the service and timing isn’t.

I just left eq3 and had the best bed shopping experience since moving here from Toronto. Taylor was the best floor agent and answered all of our questions with a smile. We are ordering a Cali King so it needs to be ordered online but if we could purchase in store I would happily purchase from Taylor.

I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Lina Barakeh who not only helped us on Sunday, but also Wednesday on her day off as we had to make not one but two last minute changes to our order.
We were beyond the 72 hours and EQ3 could have been difficult, but instead they worked fast and friendly to get us our dream sofa for our new home.
Thank you so much Lina we are aware that such dedication and service is unusual and a was a very pleasant surprise!

I would give 4-5 Stars for the quality and build of their products, we've bought a number of pieces from them that are all very comfortable and have held up very well to wear and tear of a dog + young family.
For this location I would give 2 stars for the demeanor and attentiveness to detail of the staff. Although we've had some good experiences, we had a representative mislead us on what would be required for the configuration of sectional couch we wanted that required having to order an additional piece after our delivery. Although we should've caught this ourselves, the representative worked with us one-on-one and confirmed what we wanted was what we were ordering, even pointing to our exact needs in the store. This is why we went to a brick and mortar location, to communicate exactly what we wanted, and did not receive the help we needed. Follow-ups on orders have also been met with curt responses which is not appreciated. For a high end furniture option, the service has not matched the quality of their product for us

Went there to check out Herman Miller chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and let me hang out for an hour to get a feel for them. Checked out their furniture after and they have lots of cool stuff, all Canadian sourced too. Their mantra is about sustainability and long term furniture, their products reflect that.

Ordered multiple large pieces from them and asked for white glove delivery - salesperson did not ring it in and did not want to go through the process again so told us it would be the same to get it again at delivery payment. Prior to delivery, we sent an email asking for it, in which it was forgotten again, and then asked for it over the call prior to finalizing delivery. We then got charged extra (more than the price they quoted us at the time of order) - we paid it anyway and when the delivery came, not only was it massively delayed multiple times, we had to paid extra for the service after asking multiple times, and still had to install everything by ourselves. Just a horrible experience overall - we had another delivery from another furniture store at the same time and everything was seamless compared to this horrible experience with EQ3 - will not be buying from here again.

Spent over 10k on furniture over 2 months ago that I still haven't received. On top of that, I have been consistently having an awful time contacting and getting updates from Lina Barakeh. Who also initially told us our furniture would take 6 weeks and is why we went with ordering from EQ3 for our new homes furntiure. I truly feel like she was deceitful in getting the sale and ensured me on so many details that have now fallen flat, and she won't even provide me with regular updates or explanations on what's going on. Beware of ordering from them right now, I regret it so much.
Edit: Lina literally emailed me an hour after this review stating my furniture is going to take another 2 months. That's a grand total of 4 months folks when I was told 4-6 weeks in the store! Love that!
