What a spot! We had Andrea help us and she was amazing with a true eye for design. We came in as our first stop on a hunt for a couch and we ended up with a couch, dining table chairs, a hutch and some home decor items and a vibe for our main level in our new home. So glad we found this place! Very happy with this furniture store and would highly recommend. Incredible selection, high end and lots of Canadian made selections and we were very happy with the prices!

Service Mgr Farah and Mgr Gurpreet from Showroom have now fully refunded my original order from November 2024. They reordered the leather recliner loveseat and sofa from Decor-Rest in Ontario in March, however, the replacements arrived in May and were still the same 21 inch seat height and unacceptable. They arranged to pick up the furniture at their cost (I paid the first delivery) and they ully refunded my credit card within a few days. Thank you for your service and disappointed the purchase did not work out.
Earlier: I ordered a leather reclining loveseat and sofa in November for delivery in January that actually arrived mid March. I was not in a hurry and very patient waiting delivery.
The day it arrived I sat down and my feet didn’t touch the floor and I slid off forward. I measured the seating height and it is 21 inches high! I immediately went to the store and met with salesrep Maria and assitant service mgr. They measured all furniture and model that I ordered, and all seats are 17 inches NOT 21 inches. They told me to go home, take many photos with measurements and email them back. They say they are waiting for the manufacturer but really Showroom is responsible to make me happy and they can deal with the Decor-rest on their own time.

We came in and we worked with Jill to get our bed frame, cloud couch sectional and foot rest. We absolutely loved working with her. She was very detailed and showed us all the options that would look good in our space. We love the selection at show home! Highly recommended for any furniture needs!

The entire Leon’s experience was great from start to finish. In store the personnel was professional and friendly, making every effort to support me in finding what would work best. The delivery guys were nothing less than the A team. Loved that I could track the delivery and then they called to advise they’d be here in 45 minutes to ensure we were ready. They brought everything in, took it out of the boxes, assembled it, and took away all of the garbage. They inquired how I wanted it set up and went to work. They did it quickly too. Very impressed!

I received my delivery from Leon’s store and I’m very satisfied! The team arrived right on time, brought in all the furniture carefully, and placed everything exactly where I wanted. Bought 2 couches, 6 kitchen chairs, and a tv stand fireplace. Great price on all of them, 3 different deliveries as one of the couches came with a rip on the back.

Leon’s first called an hour after delivery offered me $200 refund or $400 in store credit, the rip was in a place that would just keep getting worse so I wanted it fixed or replaced, the lady was very high pressure and left a bad taste in my mouth, and was worried what would come next.

The next day I called because of their 3 day reporting period (didn’t want them to say I didn’t report it) different lady was a little confused but then read the notes and said all good we are resending a replacement in 2 weeks and will do the swap.

Overall was a good experience all around, our sales rep was not high pressure at all but was never far of we had questions

The deliver gentleman were very professional and very efficient. Well done guys!! Only thing is when the wife got home she said the wrong love seat was sent. After four months wrong love seat. I hope this gets rectified asap. What we ordered and what was delivered

We had a great experience at sofaland and found the Canadian made furniture was of superior quality and at a reasonable price. Our sales person Harmeet was pleasant and helpful and let us take our time deciding if they were the right pieces for our home. (No pressure)

We purchased a section from them and it looks great – however, when we needed a replacement cushion their incompetence showed. It took 8 weeks for the cushion to arrive and when it did it turns out they ordered the wrong one! They simply told me it’s not their fault and it will be another 8 weeks without a cushion. They did nothing to compensate for the inconvenience and refused to even refund my visa for the incorrect cushion I purchased (they said best they could do is mail a cheque in 10 days). Rude people to deal with, and if you ever need replacement parts don’t expect them to be in any way helpful.

We absolutely love our couch from Sofaland Calgary — it’s hands down the best one we’ve ever had!

He was amazing. He listened to what we were looking for and knew his information on the sofas.
He was not persistent that we buy immediately and let us take our time to decide what we wanted to purchase.
I would recommend asking for Jake if anyone is looking for living room furniture at Sofa Land.

Haven’t received my sectional yet, but placed an order yesterday. The customer service was great – I worked with Anastasia – who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made my couch shopping experience very smooth. Sofa Land seems to have very reasonable prices for custom furniture, and the quality compared to competitors seems great.

I love our new couch! Dave was so great very knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery guys were great, communicating when are furniture will be there, they set it up with ease. There was a mix up on the size of the ottoman they communicated with us and was resolved promptly.

Bought a sectional and a big ottoman. We were helped by the lovely Courtney who answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. She showed us a variety of sectionals and did not do the pushy sale bit! She was awesome!! A credit to the company.
The sectional arrived when they said it would and the delivery guys came in unpacked it and set it up. They were also awesome very good at what they do, it was altogether a great experience and I would definitely use them again!

Our experience with Canvas + Loft was wonderful from start to finish. Mark, our sales associate, was personable, and very inviting, and did not pressure us in the least, unlike sales associates at other furniture stores. He was very clear and communicated with us their policies, and delivery details. They were true to their word and gave us an incredible deal on the price of our furniture set, and delivery was quick, easy and efficient. I purchased the Sophia sleeper sectional. This couch has been amazing.
I mentioned to salesman that i had 3 cats and needed a durable material, and was told this was a great choice because of the tight weave. I’ve had this couch now for 3 months and not one single loop out of place , infact I don’t even see them try and scratch it. Yet still scratch my other one constantly.
HIGHLY reccomend this couch if you have cats. It’s very good quality .

I purchased the manhattan sectional from canvas and loft. Couch is absolutely gorgeous! Very happy with the purchase. I waited about a month for it to arrive into Calgary and picked up from warehouse myself. Everything was super smooth and absolutely in love with it. Thanks canvas and loft!!

Excellent experience overall and couch quality far exceeded our expectations! We were expecting 2-3 weeks for delivery but were surprised when the couch arrived a few days later! Dave and his coworkers were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Will not hesitate to shop here again in the future!

STAY CLEAR OF EQ3

July 10-2025 Update – The store had advised us the fabric was in stock and the couch was in production. Fast forward to today, the fabric is actually still not in, the couch is not expected to go into production until end of September with October delivery. They have now offered to refund for our couch, noting our chairs were now delivered to Calgary. We purchased both to compliment one another, so there is no option to go another direction. Had this company been honest, we never would of placed a nearly $10,000 order through them. We are now at the whims, we may or may not get the couch by the end of the year. I would not be surprised if this now is delayed into 2026. The funniest thing is no thought at all to offer any discount or any form of compensation for the worst service imaginable. I will make sure to advise everyone to avoid this company, unless you are looking to buy a couch that will be vintage by the time you get it.

Seeing similar reviews on here, promised timing on items, and now falling flat on delivering. We ordered our couches and chairs over 3 months ago, 1 month before we moved into our new home.

We’ll be lucky if we get them now likely by September. They did offer free delivery which was something, but also offered a discount on buying more from the store at the same discount rate that was advertised on their website.

We hope the quality is good because the service and timing isn’t.

I just left eq3 and had the best bed shopping experience since moving here from Toronto. Taylor was the best floor agent and answered all of our questions with a smile. We are ordering a Cali King so it needs to be ordered online but if we could purchase in store I would happily purchase from Taylor.

I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to Lina Barakeh who not only helped us on Sunday, but also Wednesday on her day off as we had to make not one but two last minute changes to our order.
We were beyond the 72 hours and EQ3 could have been difficult, but instead they worked fast and friendly to get us our dream sofa for our new home.

I would give 4-5 Stars for the quality and build of their products, we’ve bought a number of pieces from them that are all very comfortable and have held up very well to wear and tear of a dog + young family.

For this location I would give 2 stars for the demeanor and attentiveness to detail of the staff. Although we’ve had some good experiences, we had a representative mislead us on what would be required for the configuration of sectional couch we wanted that required having to order an additional piece after our delivery. Although we should’ve caught this ourselves, the representative worked with us one-on-one and confirmed what we wanted was what we were ordering, even pointing to our exact needs in the store. This is why we went to a brick and mortar location, to communicate exactly what we wanted, and did not receive the help we needed. Follow-ups on orders have also been met with curt responses which is not appreciated. For a high end furniture option, the service has not matched the quality of their product for us

Went there to check out Herman Miller chairs. The staff were friendly and helpful and let me hang out for an hour to get a feel for them. Checked out their furniture after and they have lots of cool stuff, all Canadian sourced too. Their mantra is about sustainability and long term furniture, their products reflect that.

Ordered multiple large pieces from them and asked for white glove delivery – salesperson did not ring it in and did not want to go through the process again so told us it would be the same to get it again at delivery payment. Prior to delivery, we sent an email asking for it, in which it was forgotten again, and then asked for it over the call prior to finalizing delivery. We then got charged extra (more than the price they quoted us at the time of order) – we paid it anyway and when the delivery came, not only was it massively delayed multiple times, we had to paid extra for the service after asking multiple times, and still had to install everything by ourselves. Just a horrible experience overall – we had another delivery from another furniture store at the same time and everything was seamless compared to this horrible experience with EQ3 – will not be buying from here again.

Spent over 10k on furniture over 2 months ago that I still haven’t received. On top of that, I have been consistently having an awful time contacting and getting updates from Lina Barakeh. Who also initially told us our furniture would take 6 weeks and is why we went with ordering from EQ3 for our new homes furntiure. I truly feel like she was deceitful in getting the sale and ensured me on so many details that have now fallen flat, and she won’t even provide me with regular updates or explanations on what’s going on. Beware of ordering from them right now, I regret it so much.

Edit: Lina literally emailed me an hour after this review stating my furniture is going to take another 2 months. That’s a grand total of 4 months folks when I was told 4-6 weeks in the store! Love that!

We purchased a three-seater sofa from XNLC, and we are very pleased with our choice. The sofa is of excellent quality, and my kids love to sit on it. The salesperson, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, was very friendly and approachable. During delivery, the team assembled the legs and ensured everything was in the right place. Additionally, they delivered the sofa at no extra charge. I highly recommend this store!

I was looking for a simple, affordable mattress that will only be used a few times inmy home (guest room). The sales staff was especially friendly and helpful and (seemed) honest. Customer service was excellent. I had a mattress in my home the next day! Would recommend.

Updated: unfortunately when I received the furniture, there was a rip in the back of the couch, a leg on an end table was damaged and a bracket was missing so I couldn’t put together the bed frame. They brought me a new leg for the bed frame with the required bracket but didn’t even apologize or offer anything for the other damaged pieces. I doubt I will shop there again because of this

It was my first time in the store and I was surprised how much selection there was, with reasonable prices compared to other furniture stores I visited that day. I went in for a bed and came out with exactly what I wanted at a price that I was looking for. I’m so happy with my purchase. My bed is so comfortable. I finally slept all night long. Omid was my salesperson and he was excellent! From beginning to end, he provided exceptional customer service and I will definitely be going back for more pieces of furniture. This is the only place I shop at in Calgary for my furniture. I got couches here about eight years ago and I had great service. This is why I came back. visited this sofa store recently because I was interested in buying a new sofa. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. The lady who was supposed to help us did not treat me well. When I asked her questions about the prices, she did not listen properly and seemed to ignore me. She suddenly walked away while I was still talking to her, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

When I tried to ask her again, she was not friendly at all and her face looked unhappy, like she did not want to help us. I think good customer service is very important, especially when people come to spend their money on expensive furniture.

I hope the management can train their staff to be more polite, patient, and helpful with all customers. Because of this experience, I did not feel comfortable buying anything from this store.

Fraud Alert – Avoid at All Costs!

I placed an order with this company expecting delivery within two weeks as promised. It’s now been nearly a year, and I’m still waiting for half of my order. I’ve called numerous times only to be hung up on by reception or given false assurances that never lead anywhere. The customer service is absolutely horrible—completely unprofessional and unreliable.

This experience has been a total nightmare, and based on the dozens of similar 1-star reviews, I’m clearly not alone. The few positive reviews seem fake or written by friends and family to boost their image. Don’t fall for it.

This business operates in bad faith. If you value your time, money, and sanity—stay far away from them. They shouldn’t even be allowed to continue operating.

My partner and I purchased a couch recently from Revolve which is probably the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in. Furthermore, it comes with a very reasonably priced, comprehensive 5-year warranty. Their pieces are functional, unique, and modern. There are definitely a few other pieces we’re eying for the future.
