Called them to fix my humidly in my house, (it’s at 75% level) They told me my compressor is needs adjusting, they broke my compressor, tech was not experienced. Told me it’s a $3000 to fix the compressor, 6-8 weeks to bring in the part. Or buy a new unit for $6000.

I opted to buy the new unit cause it was quicker. When they came to install the new unit, they installed a different & wrong unit that was much larger. Without telling me. Argued that it’s the correct unit, after a few days I proved with the originally email quote is and was the wrong unit installed.

Today, my humility is still too high at 75%
Called the head office to chat about the humility, still not fixed. And I have the wrong unit still installed.

From the initial quote to the service, it’s been an excellent experience so far. I got a great deal on the combo (heat pump AC, furnace, and water tank), and the financing option is fantastic, with 0% interest for the first year.
The installation was faster than expected, and the technicians explained the process, maintenance, and operation of the new equipment in detail. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving and removed all the old equipment. It was a hassle-free experience!

I have a friend who went with Action a couple of years ago and I also noticed when I was over then the install looked good and well done, he has had no complaints, which is part of the reason we went with Action. Also during our city inspection the inspector mentioned we went with one of the best installers in the city which gave us great piece of mind and made us feel good about our choice to go with action.

Furnace, AC, and water tank install was great, had it done right away, in 2 days, installers were very well trained, polite, and respectful. They explained everything well and everything went as planned. Very happy with the service and installation.

I got a new furnace and new AC from Action Furnace and I highly recommend them. Greg led us through the whole process, ensured we would get what we need, and explained everything incredibly well. The installers, Taranjeet and Derek, were absolute pros, incredibly polite and pleasant, and very fast. They cleaned up when they were done and explained everything so that I knew how to maintain my new equipment. I cannot recommend this business enough.

After my great experience with Knight on the EV charger project, I decided to go with them again for my air conditioner installation—and once again, they absolutely delivered.

Tylan was extremely professional and patient throughout the process. I spoke with seven HVAC companies before making my decision, and Tylan stood out for his clear communication and honest advice.

Steve and his team handled the installation, and they were fantastic from start to finish. I can be pretty particular when it comes to workmanship and finish quality, but their work genuinely exceeded my expectations. They arrived on time, explained the plan clearly, and completed the job with great care and attention to detail. Great experience working with Reliance. our sales rep was Dan Anderson, came at the requested time and covered everything very thoroughly, and answered all of our questions, and gave us all the offered options to choose from. Installation was booked for the following day. Everything went seamlessly and works great. Mikhail M. did an outstanding job repairing our external AC unit. He was courteous right from the beginning, introducing himself and shaking hands. He was able to quickly identify the issue with the capacitor, made a recommendation for a fix, quoted the price and had the part available in his van. Tested and confirmed it was in good working order. It was all done in about half an hour. Very happy with this service.

We recently got tankless water heater and water softener installed.
Installer technicians Noel and Marlon are punctual, they went above and beyond with the work they did for us, quality work, clean up after themselves and no mess left.

My experience with Reliance in Calgary has been excellent. Dmitri, the sales representative, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive. Everything from initial appointment to electrical assessment, paperwork with my condo board, to installation was very swift and efficient. Very transparent as well. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a water softener, A/C, and RO added to my new home. The whole process took two visits. The first day contractors came to install the A/C unit. I was given a window of time which I mistakenly thought would be the time they were working between. (8-12) Of course the contractors showed up literally at the last minute. I had to reach out to my sales rep (Samim who has been wonderful btw) to find out when the contractors were actually arriving. The contractors called me at 1030 and said they would arrive at 11:30. Then they called at 11:30 and said they were arriving at noon. They finally arrived and got to work. The entire job took 6 hours. I understand it wasnt a quick job but the communication about when they would be starting from my sales rep and when they actually started was unclear. That was by far the most frustrating part. The contractors were nice but english was hard for them so communication between us was a bit challenging which made my experience a little more difficult. I wasn’t understanding what was happening or the progress of the whole evolution. After expressing my frustration with the miscommunication to Samim, he ensured the next one would run smoother. A couple days later, contractors arrived to set up the water softener and RO. (Side note-Samim also gave that extra special attention and noticed my kitchen faucet was being changed to black so he made sure my RO faucet matched!!) The whole process of the second day install was much more pleasant and I fully understood what was happening. All in all even though I was skeptical about signing up with Reliance, Im super happy to have this set up and I can have peace of mind and not worry about any maintenance. Having Reliance install my A/C also ensures I do not void my furnace warranty by having the annual maintenance done on it. Thank you Samim for your patience and understanding with my questions and frustrations. Having you to reach out to was definitely a big help. I appreciate the work the contractors did. They installed everything seamlessly and cleaned up after they left. Very excited to enjoy that RO and get rid of that old Brita in my fridge!

Adam and his crew from JPS Furnace and Air Conditioning Ltd showed up bang on time and got to work immediately with installing my new Daikin Air Conditioning Unit.
They were all friendly, professional… and dog friendly.
I was told the installation, including testing and system operation instruction, would take about 6 hours.
It took exactly 6 hours.
They ensured everything worked as it should, and left the area around the installation absolutely spotless.
Adam went through the operation of the system and the mobile app that can be used to work the system remotely.
The Daikin system is really quiet, and when AC is needed, it quickly cools my place down.
It also controls heat and humidity.
So far, I’m really happy with my purchase (I chose to finance the purchase with the no interest for 12 months option).

Technician Abhishek came today to troubleshoot and he provided a very detailed explanation of the modulating furnace operation philosophy. He was very knowledgeable and very professional, wish he was here the first day to give homeowners the technical lessons (only for the people interested in the technology).
To sum up my experience so far (2 weeks) with this modulating furnace and A/C and the service call, I would recommend JPS.

I had a wonderful experience having a new AC unit and new air filtration system installed with JPS. The Sales Rep (Cam), the Scheduler and the Techs (Dakota and Daman) were extremely professional, friendly and informative every step of the way. The unit they installed in one day (were super clean about it) and it has been hassle free, is whisper quiet and keeps our house at the perfect temp. JPS has a great warranty service and are focused on ensuring the optimal performance of unit, which is a big plus for me—I like highly recommend them.

UPDATE – We officially have central AC and the installation team led by Ramandeep Singh, both men were polite, tidy and went about their work with minimal disruption.
The Electrical team arrived midday and where every bit as good; they were in and out quickly. They offered to explain the Electric Capacity requirements to me but I passed on that; it’s code so has to looked at … my understanding of it would be pointless and not needed The unit is running and it is so quiet that our enjoyment of late night wine on the balcony will not be compromised … and that is important!

We have not yet accepted the proposal for our new central AC but dealing with Kyle Van Bakel at the proposal stage has been amazing!
He knew the business and what would be involved, left all of the information we need to make a final decision.

Adam and his crew were very courteous and respectful with our family and home. There were very knowledgeable of what they were installing and talked us through everything. Excellent service on an Air Conditioner job, awesome customer service from estimate to install. Clinton the installer was professional, friendly but most importantly he was thorough, experienced and knew what he was doing. Other companies who quoted tried to sell us upgraded furnaces and made excuses for how difficult the job was, but Arpi’s found a solution and came in at their quoted price. We will definitely use them again.

I believe I just met the savant of furnaces: Jae Hyun Kim. I have never been more impressed by a technician’s commitment to detail and thoroughness.

I have been intermittent issues with furnace after getting inducer motor replaced last fall. The company that installed it said I just need to replace the furnace.

Jae Hyun did an extremely thorough investigation and pointed out that not only did I not need a new furnace, but the inducer motor wasn’t installed properly. The other company man said there was rust near the heat exchanger and that it was too much of a pain to inspect it, so he was confident that I should get it replaced. Gave me a quote for $7200 furnace and walked away.

Jae Hyun just drilled a couple of holes quickly , pulled out his nifty camera, and clearly confirm that the HE was totally fine. Looked like the day they installed it. He said that the low pressure switch was out of spec slightly but in no way did he pressure me to get it replaced. I had to pressure him to give me a quote, just in case I wanted to replace that part in the future!

All in all, super impressed with the professionalism, thoroughness and attention to detail. It’s not often I get impressed by hvac work, but I was extremely impressed and pleased. He also became friends with my cat.

I can’t say enough about the customer service I received from Arpi’s. We had both an AC and furnace installed and from the beginning we got exceptional service. From the updates on our service date to the day of install with a message of when they will be here. Goes a long way and leaves the guess work out of it. Then on the install day they were very professional and explained everything from start to finish. I highly recommend this company!

Last week Arpi’s came to perform annual furnace and water heater service. The technician, Jae Hyun Kim arrived on time and started on the servicing promptly. He was very thorough and professional and after he was finished he took the time to show me what he had done and even showed me how I can change the humidity setting of the furnace from the thermostat. His high level of skill and knowledge was evident. Excellent service.

We had our annual air conditioning service completed by Leon, and he did a thorough and excellent job. Vanessa came to fix a humidifier leak and was professional, detailed in her explanations and overall very understanding and considerate. Purchased a hot water tank from Costco but the work was done by Arpi’s. Arpi’s was very quick to respond, they were able to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. They had great communication and reminders about the appointment. Chris and Igor showed up within the time allocated and provided, quick, friendly, and professional service. Adam McLong was just at our place and did an amazing inspection on our furnace and air conditioner, and replaced parts. He instructed us on our thermostat and smoke/carbon monoxide detector. He spent a lot of time here and did such a thorough job. We will ask for Adam every time! We also got a very detailed report so we thank everyone for that as well. And Adam was great with our pets! I’m giving 2 stars because tech forgot to reconnect the humidifier back up. I went away for a week came back & my hardwood floors are creaking so went to furnace area & that’s when I saw humidifier disconnected. I shouldn’t have to snoop around & check techs work to ensure it’s been done properly, otherwise I was happy with the work tech did on furnace, he was very polite & informative.

They were able to get a technician out quickly. He was able to pinpoint the problem, source the replacement part and get our A/C up and running the same day. Justin was very professional he was able to explain what was going on in an understandable way. We are extremely happy with our service.

We highly recommend Calgary Air Heating and Cooling. We needed our AC unit moved to be compliant for City inspectors. They answered the phone after hours and provided a very reasonable estimate. They arrived promptly for the service call, the work was done quickly and properly. We loved our experience having a heat pump installed by Alberta Mountain Air – Mikey and Conrad were the installers and they did an awesome job. They took the time to make sure we understood everything that was happening – gave great advice – and even stayed late to ensure everything was 100% working with our current thermostat and that we understood how to operate things. Joe was the lead technician on our job which was the install of a new furnace and air conditioner, supported by Kyle day 1 and Mike day 2. At one point it was identified that a better pipe run placement could be made, even after significant process was made, and they did it without hesitation. Honestly could not be more satisfied. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

Joe and Kyle were very efficient and professional. Gave me some tips on maintenance which will be very helpful moving forward. They even went out of their way to make sure they do not create any mess. Kudos to you guys!!!

I want to leave the review for our installation personnel Russ he did our installation and he was detail oriented with his starting points. Made sure to set a comfortable tone when he set foot in our home. He was efficient his time. Our installation was not as straight forward, but he was relatively quick. He was thorough with his clean up and made sure we understood operational procedures. We are very happy with his approach and the pride he took in his work if this is an extension of the company’s values as well. We are glad we made this choice. Thank you Russ

Conrad and Evan arrived at my home on time for the installation of a new furnace.
While here, they were both very courteous, professional, tidy and informative as they went about their day.
When finished they completely cleaned up the job site (my home).
I expect to see them again shortly to finish off a few miscellaneous service items.
I would highly recommend them and the company to anyone requiring a furnace replacement and/or service work in the future.

The guys showed up on time, after having sent out a text and email reminder to me. They began the install with putting down carpet/ matting over the entire area they were working in. They included me in the process along the way, great experience. Walked me through the features operation etc. Great team!!

Had a new heat pump installed by Phil and his assistant, Carter I believe. Both were very skilled, thorough, and professional. They took the time to do the job right and explain everything they were doing. They even corrected some of the poor workmanship that had been done by some previous technicians from another (unknown) business. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to anyone else. The quote for this job was done by Chris, who also did a fantastic job. It was evident that he knew the practical and technical side of the business, not just the sales side of things. Price and appointment availability was reasonable. Overall, this was a great experience.

I did a ton of homework regarding replacing my 10 year old humongous, noisy and most likely to leak any day water tank with a Rinnai Tankless Water System .

My salesperson Jeff showed up on time, reviewed our situation with guarantees of a clean removal process of the old tank and a clean professional install of my new tankless system. I requested a furnace replacement with Furnace Family Heating. An appropriate date was scheduled and Philip and Zoltan arrived at the appointed time. The lads were very polite, friendly and efficient. The old furnace was removed and taken away at no charge. The new unit was installed and several modifications to the attached hoses and wiring circuits were completed without additional expense to me. The unit and area were cleaned and the new furnace was tested. Everything worked perfectly. A great experience and a fine company to use for this installation. Thank you guys!
