NEW LOCATION – OPENED MARCH 3, 2025

Wolfe Chevrolet GMC Buick recently opened a new location, expanding their presence in the area. The space is modern and spacious, designed for viewing vehicles and handling service appointments.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The showroom has an open layout that makes it easy to explore different vehicle options, from trucks to electric models. The setup allows for a clear view of the selection without feeling overly crowded.

During my visit, I spoke with David, a Product Specialist, who was professional and helpful. He answered my questions and provided the opportunity to view the showroom.

Just rented a pickup to assist with a charity fundraiser on the weekend. Chase was very friendly, efficient and helpful with both checking out and returning the truck. They took the time to show me how the various options on the truck worked. The vehicle was great, clean and very comfortable. For such a large truck it had terrific fuel efficiency. When we returned the truck my wife insisted we look around the lot and thought this would be a good place to buy our next vehicle. I’d recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I’ve been a loyal GM customer for years, but my recent experience with Wolfe GMC Calgary has left me shocked, disappointed, and genuinely disheartened. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2018 Escalade in August 2024, having been clearly assured by the sales and finance team that the vehicle had no accident history and that the GM Total Plus extended warranty would cover major repairs with only a $100 deductible no surprises.

Fast forward to less than 5,000 km of light driving later, and the vehicle has already been in the shop nearly 10 times. Most recently, I brought it in for leaking rear shocks, an issue I was told would be covered, only to be hit with $387 in charges for diagnostics and a rental. To make matters worse, I was later informed by their own service department that the front sensors may not function properly due to excessive paint from a prior repair contradicting the «accident-free» claim made at sale.

The service experience was just as troubling my wife and I were treated with dismissiveness and disrespect, and I was even told bluntly that I had been «lied to» about the warranty I paid thousands of dollars for.

This experience has not only caused financial stress but completely eroded my trust in Wolfe GMC and GM itself. A certified vehicle with hidden issues and a warranty that doesn’t stand up to what was promised? This is not how customers should be treated. I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting Wolfe GMC, I truly regret doing so. There are better dealerships out there that respect their customers and stand behind their word, product, and warranty.

The process was long, longer than I expected. But I believe that I have a pretty good deal on my vehicle. I chose and went with a Honda pilot 2020. Beautiful vehicle nice comfortable ride. They checked it all over for me before I got it put in a new window in the front. The windshield was all cracked up. Yes I know they’re supposed to fix the car out before you get it, but they were pretty quick on it. The person I was dealing with Chris, he was very on the ball. Saw an ad on autotrader/car gurus app that I wanted due to a recent collision in March 2025 that resulted in the 2018 prius prime being totaled.

Went in and met with Christopher Clarke. Conversation was light and non-stressful/non-pushy. I liked my car so much that I wanted to buy another prius prime that just came on the lot. The whole experience was very positive. Bought the car after a few negotiations with the owner of the car (car was a consignment vehicle). Filling out paperwork was easy. Setting up financing was also quick. From the dealership to getting my car to the driveway was all a pleasant experience.

I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for anyone new to car buying. They added extra fees without explaining them properly, which felt very dishonest. There was also a lot of unnecessary pressure and comparisons that made us feel uncomfortable and even guilty at times.
The salesman, Benjamin, quoted us $350 biweeklyfor 84 months for a 4-year-old used CR-V but didn’t mention the actual total price , which is a basic thing any buyer needs to know. On top of that, he kept changing the price of the car. He clearly didn’t know the actual cost and left us waiting multiple times , once for nearly 15 minutes only to return with a different number each time. It felt like we were being played around.
He even called us to come see a specific car, and when we arrived, he told us it had already been sold. Then he tried to steer us toward another car they had on the lot, which felt very planned.The whole experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating. If you’re looking for honest and transparent service, I’d strongly suggest going somewhere else.

We didn’t like this dealership. The salesperson told us in advance where we were allowed to go during our test drive, then got into another vehicle and followed us the whole way. (Nothing says valued customer like being treated like a child!) We ended up liking the vehicle, so we tried to discuss financing and negotiate the price slightly, since it wasn’t very competitive with other vehicles (with similar and/or superior features, mileage, etc,) that we had been looking at. They wouldn’t budge. They tried to give us the old, «we can’t just give the cars away… we have families to feed» line, even though our offer was more than reasonable. The salesperson was also constantly coming and going, having to «talk to his manager» about everything, and didn’t appear very confident in making a sale.

In the end, we bought through a different dealership and got an amazing deal for a far superior vehicle, and definitely better service. I recommend shopping around!

A good service center, but admin is a bit of a mixed bag. They’ll work to make sure your car is in great condition condition and get you the lowest prices.

However they dont always remember requests or instructions, they missed some important cleaning requests with me. And then they double charged me.

So it’s great work but always read over the receipt.

We did not expect to have to get a different car. But circumstances dictated that we had to.
We dealt with a Good team of people from the sales person to the manager and service person at North Star Ford.
Later we had to change our mind as we got a better car and a newer model. We lost our $1000 non refundable deposit. We were aware of that . So that was not the problem. The disappointment was that later , the 2 bills we paid, for the assessment of our car and the $1000 deposit, both had 2.45% charge added because we had used a credit card. The merchant charge was put on our bill. If that was their policy, they should have advised us first. We then would have had a choice to pay by debit. Of course we should have checked our bill. But we never did, until we got home, as this has never happened before. So it has been a disappointing experience.

On the other hand, Maclin Ford took. $1000 deposit as well. It was fully refundable and no 2.45% charge was added. We ended up buying a car from them.

Absolutely the best service I had in a very long time in the past 25 years of driving Northstar sales reps were so pleasant to be around. They were not pushing they did not overwhelm me when I walked in the door. They gave me the space I needed and they let me approach them when I was ready. It was refreshing to go to a place where they can just provide you well service and knowledge on what you’re looking for they even bring things down so it’s in baby steps to understand better which is great because when you’re looking at five different types of vehicles, you want to know every detail of each vehicle and you also want to know the payment options on each vehicle versus the other. I’m a university student and needed something in my budget that met all my wants which doesn’t always work out. Not only did they find me something in my budget they found something that checked all the boxes. I was so pleased and love my new car. The respect and consideration didn’t stop after I signed the paperwork there was follow up on how it was working out for me. They also took care of some cosmetic work at my convenience. I also used their service department for tires and they were professional and respectful. All around my entire experience I was treated with professionalism and respect. He was fair, straight forward and honest which made the process of getting into my dream car smooth sailing. He consistently worked hard on my file even with the up hill battles he didn’t give up until I drove away in the car I wanted. At the end of April I started an online search for a reliable vehicle for my 18 year old niece. This would be her very first car purchase. She had been driving a Honda and really liked it. After some searching online, we found a Honda she was interested in at House Of Cars (McKnight).
We quickly popped by on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by Kirndeep Sandhu.
Kirn was quick to gather some info from us and bring up the vehicle we were interested in. As we were in a hurry to leave, she assured us she would do some additional searching of her own and get back to us with more options. (I wanted my niece to have some choices)
As promised, a few days later Kirn reached out with some options of what we were looking for. Soon we were back at the dealership for some tests drives.
Kirn really impressed me with her knowledge of credit and financing. She explained how it all worked to my niece in simple terms that she could understand. I feel that Kirn was looking out for my nieces best interest.
I was very glad that my niece was getting this critical life «lesson»
My niece and I then went on holidays out of the country, where we were in contact with Kirn a couple times.
When we got back we started all the paperwork and settled all the little details.
Kirn always ensured we understood each step of the process and that my niece was happy with the car she was purchasing. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured to make a decision or «finalize the sale».
I really feel that Kirn wants her clients to have a great experience so they will return to her in the future, which is great business.
Kirns welcoming smile, her patience, understanding and ability to explain every part of the process make her a great addition to HOC. My niece and I had a wonderful experience. I would recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle to reach out to Kirn, you will not be disappointed.

I am beyond grateful I ended up with Spencer returning my messages. I was very hesitant after a terrible experience at one of my local dealerships. I gave Spencer a crazy amount of things I required in a vehicle. Potentially an impossible amount. He spent an entire month searching for the vehicle that would work for me. He was kind, patient and very informative. He taught me alot about the things I didn’t understand. He went out of his way to explain certain aspects I wasn’t fully understanding and was happy to teach me about the whole process. He ultimately pulled it off, he found a rig that checked every single one of my requirements (absolutely mind blowing!). He was very accommodating and worked with my work schedule, and even personally drove this rig down to my door step for me to test drive. The whole process was laid back, calm and easy. He is absolutely fabulous. I cannot rate my experience high enough, he truly deserves 10 plus stars. This was my 3rd time buying at this house of cars. I went in this time after a car accident that wrote my car off. I also went in thinking I had over $12,000 in negative equity due to insurance paying out market value. Spencer saved me on this one, he helped me navigate the gap insurance I had and saved me $9400. I went in thinking I was going to have to go for a cheaper vehicle that I would have had to settle for, but left in an amazing vehicle that I absolutely love. Spencer even took care of the registration for, not having to deal with little things when I was recovering from a concussion from the accident was very helpful. I recently purchased a used Toyota Tundra with the help of Qammar Bangash. He was very kind and helpful throughout the whole process. The first time I visited on Friday to look at the truck it was going through inspection and was in the shop but they were kind enough to let me see the truck although it was up on a lift with the tires off. Then on Tuesday I came in around noon because they said it should be ready by then but it wasn’t ready until 4. As a Filipino who just moved to Canada, buying my first car felt like taking an exam I didn’t study for. I had no idea about financing, credit scores, or even what to say when I walked into a dealership. But then I met Henrik Tan at Crowfoot Dodge Chrysler and suddenly, everything felt easier. From our first convo, he made me feel like I was just talking to a kuya who happened to know everything about cars.

I told him I wanted something reliable, but also something pogi. For the most part it was a good experience. Sunny on the front end was amazing to deal with and took good care of me. Thanks Sunny! I flew in from Manitoba, and Sunny picked me up at the airport!
We were so excited to drive our new vehicle home, but had some issues to address when we got home!

Thank God I had to do a Manitoba Provincial inspection, as we found all the motor mounts were broken. These were missed in the dealership inspection. The dealership did come through and as promised took care of the cost of repairing and replacing the motor mounts.

There was also a bent wheel found in the inspection. The dealership ended up only paying for half of that cost to replace this.

The biggest issue with all this was we had to wait for almost a month for new parts for the motor mounts to come from the US! During that time we had already sold our old vehicle and had to rent a car from our mechanic as we have busy lives. I didn’t expect Auto World to pay for the vehicle rental, as that was our choice, but I thought the least they could have done was to fully take care of the rim issue so there would be $0 cost to us for at-least the repair part of things.

I kindly suggested this idea a few times to the manager. I would have given a perfect review even with the difficulties we faced. The vehicle is a nice vehicle and was worth the wait. I hope this is more of a learning opportunity for the dealership. Many companies spend alot more than $500 on promotions. A simple $500 dollars to make things right with a customer could have gone a long way.

I was looking at a lot of places to buy a car at 0% interest (due to religious reasons). My family came across this place and so glad to have run into them. They made everything a breeze from selecting a car to test drives to finance options to registration to picking up the car. Everything was so smooth and easy!
Avneet was very nice and he introduced us to the 0% interest- financing option (which was our main concern). There was another guy (I don’t know the name of), he took the time to explain everything in great detail and helped us clear any confusions.
The last part of the purchase was dealt with Gurpreet. He was also very patient with our requests.

Hands down best dealership I have dealt with all 20 years of selling and buying vehicles . If I could put a 10 star I would .

From the moment I reached out to them, I wanted ti get out of my vehicle and into something different (smaller) I didn’t know where to begin to look or what I even wanted to.. the after hours they took the time to send me multiple vehicles and find me exactly what I was looking for .
