Customer Reviews
I recently bought a road bike at this store and it was a phenomenal shopping experience. Reid was super helpful from beginning to end, and was always willing to answer any question I had regarding the bike up to financing options.
As I was from out of town, the store was willing to help me look at options at how to get the bike home, and once decided, was also willing to help me box up the bike and prep it for a flight. Would not hesitate to stop by the next time I’m in town!

I had the best experience at Ridley Cycle purchasing my new bike. The staff – particularly Jonny and Toby – were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend Ridleys to anyone looking for a great bike shop full of experienced staff. 12/10
Joel Hendy (☆ 5/5)

All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Not pushy. Just attentive and informative. Swapped my hydraulic brakes over to moto style for no cost. Loving my trek Roscoe 8. Great spec bike for 2K. Very happy.
Russ Jowett (☆ 5/5)

Had a great experience with Julia at Ridley Cycles! She was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to my queries over email. When I visited the store, she promptly addressed a minor issue with my kid’s bike (brake tuning), even though the bike was purchased elsewhere. Julia’s service was efficient, friendly, and professional. Truly appreciated her support. Highly recommend!
Shawn Saldanha (☆ 5/5)

Ridley’s is really wonderful.
I have been going there for years now and have always been treated so well. You don’t have to be an athlete with an expensive bike to be respected and there is none of the.. shall we say hipster disdain 🙂 that can happen in such places.
They consistently over deliver and it is always cheaper then I think it will be. They have thrown in quick repairs for free and even surprised me by putting on a bike light I was buying once while I was paying for it.
I recently went in and said I need a full tune up. They looked over everything and said I only needed a couple of things – it ended up being less then half the price it would have been.
They are just everything a great local shop should be: kind, providing incredible service, affordable, and offering really great repairs.
Erin Tremblay (☆ 5/5)

Excellent service and reasonable priced.
My e bike stopped working and I needed it fixed. A quick call and they could see me quickly. Got the bike in and after they checked it over I had the bike fixed and they where honest. Labour for the fix came out to $3 and the bike runs smooth.
Over all a wonderful experience.
Ken M (☆ 5/5)

After not having success from the store we bought my bike from with a warranty issue. We contacted Ridleys to see if they could help me out. Without hesitation they were more than happy to assist. Within days the warranty ticket had been submitted, and the part ordered.
Even though we didn’t purchase from them they have gone above and beyond that we will be doing our purchasing with them in the future!
Tell your friends and family because this is customer service and this is how to go places with your loyalty

I had a fantastic experience getting the rear brake cable on my bike replaced. From start to finish, the service was fast, efficient, and far more affordable than I expected. I was honestly prepared for a bit of a hassle or a high bill, but they handled everything expeditiously and professionally. Within no time, my bike was ready to ride again, and the brake is now working flawlessly.
It’s rare to find such quick turnaround paired with great value. I really appreciate the honesty and skill involved, and I’ll definitely be coming back for any future bike maintenance. Highly recommended!

After repeatedly returning to another bike repair shop to have a reoccurring issue fixed, I decided to take my bike to CC – Southwood where Jason explained the process before they fixed my bike as well as explaining all the repairs on pick up the very next day all for an extremely fair price. Jason, CC Southwood and their mechanics have certainly earned my business in the future and I highly recommend taking any of your repairs there.
Elliot (☆ 5/5)

Great experience. Went to a couple bike shops for a quote on a repair, these guys were the best price wise. They also explained it well and were in contact with me for updates or questions before proceeding with the repairs. Nice open and honest with great price. Definitely recommend!
Chris D (☆ 5/5)

Excellent service and expertise with a quick turnaround time, especially given we are in the heart of the mountain biking season! Their brake wizard got mine back in action after my brake bleed attempt left me with a perplexing scenario. Many thanks CCS!
Chris Ralph (☆ 5/5)

My son’s bike got a flat tire and we went to the shop to fix it. All the staffs are pretty much nice and also professional. They have different options to solve the problem and they also did very quick. At the meantime, they have nice new bikes display. They guess should also have good sales service as well.
Summer Shi (☆ 5/5)

I have been a long time customer here so it’s disappointing to write a bad review. I brought my 2023 mountain bike this year in for a double black tune up while they had a promotion. As soon as I got the bike back from the service, I noticed that my pedals were still squeaking and my shifting was adequate at best. I brought my bike back in to address the pedal issue, for which the pedals were taken off and greased around the edges without actually taking apart the pedals. On a ride that night, my pedals completely ceased due to a lack of grease. So the next day, I bring my bike in where they rebuild the pedals but charge me for labour on top this. About a week later, my suspension bearings are creaking, my shifting is now almost completely useless, and my dropper post is taking 5 seconds to reach its peak. This is all with under 20 hours of riding my bike. The head mechanic looks at my bike and deduces the following: my chain is at 75% ware and they don’t want to touch my derailleur or hanger because it’s complicated. My dropper post could’ve been greased better but raceface droppers are hard to service so I need a new one. My suspension bearings barely had any grease on them and minimal dirt. While I appreciate them looking at my bike for free, I still feel ripped off and annoyed that I spent $500 to tune up a bike just to keep reappearing over and over for problems that maybe would’ve been solved the first time if I sent my bike to a more thorough shop. I also did not have a budget when it comes to replacing and ordering components that are needed, so it’s frustrating when I need a new dropper and new chain and new hanger but they choose to just not to address it out of laziness? Sad to have to change bike shops after all these years but I feel disrespected and not appreciated despite 10+ years of loyalty.
Solly Spivak (☆ 2/5)

Bought my Santa Cruz at CC last year so just had it in for a pre-season tune at the new Elbow Dr location and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Back riding in under two days.

We rented the Polaris Slingshot «Bat mobile» for a road trip to Banff & Jasper. Irish, the office manager was so pleasant to deal with. She explained everything in details and was fast to respond via phone or text. At rental time, the garage tech went over all the functions and explained how to use it. We thought the price was very reasonable and would definitely rent it again. During our travels, every tourist wanted to take a pic and ask question. It was a great adventure

This is the first time I used All Sports Motorsports. I highly recommend. They are very friendly and accommodating. Our plans had changed and they were flexible to help us out. The motorcycle I hired, was exactly as I was expecting and enabled an amazing trip through the Rockies. They were very thorough in talking me through its operation and features and made sure I was entirely comfortable with its use before I left. Even upon return they wanted to make sure everything was perfect. They really helped make the trip very enjoyable and looking around the shop there are many other motorsports toys I cant wait to hire. Huge thanks to Tina and the team!
Connor Deehan (☆ 5/5)

This shop is awesome! I was visiting from out of town in the start of April and was referred by a friend. I needed a rental motorcycle to kick start my season and for my new YogaMotoGal channel. Kristina at the front desk was quick to arrange the Honda Rebel 300 for me to ride and was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Cody in service was also great when it came to looking over my bike rental and answered all my questions. I love how they don’t chase full tanks. It makes returning the bike that much easier. They also had a wicked retail selection and I found an awesome new Vans t-shirt to remember my experience with them. Sterling from the retail department was kind enough to give me a few All Season Motorsports stickers for free along with my purchase. I highly recommend renting here for any of your motor sports needs. They’re prices are reasonable and all the staff here were professional and down to earth. Happy and safe riding everyone!
Sabrina Marie (☆ 5/5)

Very disappointed. Took the day off work, paid for the road test, and rented a bike from this place and it works up until the moment I need it. Not only was I not able to take my test because of the damn bike not even starting but after going back to the shop and hearing the workers say the bike has been maintained the battery wiring post was barely even connected. There was visible marks on said battery which clearly indicates it has had problems before. Very upset. So far they seem to not want to take responsibility for its neglect to checking the condition of the battery. Now we wait for how they are going to make it up.

I rented a R1250 GS from the team at All Season this past weekend. The ‘23 GS was in perfect condition with factory aluminum cases ready to be mounted. When I arrived, the bike was fully prepped and brought out to be gone over. It’s never fun to spend hundreds on a rental to have it scream «rental bike». This bike was anything but that, low kms, well optioned, and in a discrete color. The tires were in acceptable condition, appropriate for the riding I was going to be doing, and the bike had about 90km of range (bring it back empty is their policy). Overall, I was thrilled with the bike and put just over 900km on it in 24 hours with no issues. Lee wasn’t shy to provide good contact info so that I felt confident I was taken care of if something was to happen, and Liam was enthusiastic and helpful with every step of the rental and return process. Cheers! I’ll be back next year

We have used All Season Motorsports for motorbike and snowmobile rentals for 2 years now and the experience has been incredible. We like that they have niche equipment that is perfectly suitable for the various abilities in our family, as well as sized for our young boys as well as for adults. We have gotten to know the owner, Steve, and he makes us feel like we are his only customer sometimes. Excellent communication, no price gouging and just good people. Don’t think twice, rent from them!
Mark Jull (☆ 5/5)

Tina and the crew are so friendly and nice to deal with. Our second time booking today for Aug 2-5. The last experience was perfect and Tina remembered me when we booked again today. Warm and inviting people and the bikes were top notch!

Bow Cycle has slowly but surely become my second home — and I’m not even mad about it.
I’ve bought multiple bikes here over the years (yes, multiple — don’t judge me), and every experience has been awesome. The staff actually know what they’re talking about, whether I’m asking about the latest drivetrain or pretending I know how to pronounce «derailleur.» Service is always fast, thorough, and they treat my bikes like they’re made of gold. Respect.
I also pick up parts, gear, and clothing here — they’ve got a great selection that makes it way too easy to «accidentally» buy another pair of riding shorts. And now my kids are in on it too. They’ve gotten their bikes and helmets here, and the team made them feel like tiny Tour de France pros.
If you’re into cycling in Calgary, Bow Cycle is pretty much a one-stop shop. Great people, great service, and a dangerous place to enter if you weren’t planning to spend money. 10/10 would recommend (and probably will again next week when I’m back for just one more thing).

Just picked up a Specialized Diverge and couldn’t be happier with the experience! Logan was amazing – super knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. He took the time to answer all my questions and let me test ride several bikes so I could really find the right fit. Great service from start to finish. Highly recommend this shop if you’re looking for a bike and a no-pressure experience.

Ryan Mountain was amazing! And the staff that helped me pick my new bike. Bought a new bike for 40th and even thought I’ve been cycling my entire life – this was my first professional fitting and it has and is going to change my life. They book a solid hour and go through all your muscles and muscles pertaining to cycling and make sure you are properly balanced. Everything you thought you knew about riding a bike is not what you think…. Come check out this locally owned business and don’t wait to get fitted – properly!!

♀️ A BIG shoutout to Bow Cycle in Calgary for going above and beyond to help me finally get an adaptive bike!
Finding an adaptive bike in Ontario was not easy. I called multiple stores, searched countless options, and kept hitting roadblocks. Most places only offered the Fatwheels (stabilizing wheels), which still required finding a compatible bike and arranging a custom installation. It was a frustrating and time-consuming process — and I was starting to lose hope.
Then I discovered Bow Cycle in Calgary. Not only did they have the perfect bike, but they also made the shipping and handling process smooth and stress-free. Their team was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. And to top it off, they added a personal touch — bright orange grips that remind me:
Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
This journey has reminded me how important accessibility and inclusivity are — and how powerful it is when businesses step up to support it. THANKYOU @JOHN FRANZKY and
Thank you, Bow Cycle, for making it possible.
If you’re ever looking for an adaptive solution, don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

There are many ( Great ) experiences I’ve had at BOW CYCLE, let me start this one by telling of my AWESOME one with Derek Scovell, who always has a SMILE and Greets me with the passion and excitement that I have had since purchasing my Specialized Creo 2 COMP Carbon bike. From the day I rode over and looked up and said, YES, help me take a look at this bike I am interested in. Derek listened to what was important to me and the components I wanted to know I could upgrade to and include with my purchase. He has been there in my corner constantly tending to my needs, to make this experience ONE that I will always Remember as being the WAY it should be, He feels my Excitement and shares the JOY of THE BIKE and Biking! Wish my car salesman felt the same….. for him it was just another sale… Derek on the other hand made me feel that I made the BEST PURCHASE of my life…. I continue to hound him for minor adjustments and LOOK forward to my Complimentary BIKE FIT with RYAN who I’ve had many great conversation with about riding techniques and how the fit will make my 75 km and more rides, a thing to look forward to ALWAYS…. Sorry this is long, but I cannot say it enough… I AM SO GLAD that I CHOSE BOW CYCLE and that Derek is my man when I need things looked at till it’s PERFECT…which will be soon… more to come….

Back from Banff and with a few hours to spare before our flight, we booked Toonie Tours’ 2-hour e-scooter ride through Calgary—and it was a blast! We were new to scooters but got the hang of it in minutes. Eric, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the tour engaging throughout.
He showed us Calgary’s highlights—from artsy corners and murals to the Jack Singer Concert Hall, Studio Bell, the Stampede grounds, Scotiabank Saddledome, Peace Bridge, and scenic spots along the Bow River. The skyline views from elevated points were stunning!
Eric also shared fascinating insights into Calgary’s growth, the oil boom, and the city’s love for art and architecture. A perfect intro to Calgary—highly recommended if you’re short on time but want to see it all!

Customer Reviews
Purchased a Kona Unit X from Bike and Brew. The crew was incredible helpful with all of my questions and getting me ready for some epic rides. Cannot recommend this shop enough! Thank you for the great bike!

They provided me with an excellent customer experience!
I was looking for a special handlebar bag for quite a long time in a few dozen web stores and finally found it at Bike and Brew – and even though they don’t originally tend to ship internationally, they made it happen for me. The order was placed on Friday morning in Calgary, AB, Canada and the package arrived the very next Monday with UPS in Germany.
Very friendly contact, quick responses, great service and some pretty cool stuff on their homepage – check it out! Thanks @Quinn and colleagues! I’m proud to be your first international customer!

Took my vintage Opax in for a tire/tube replacement and a few repairs, and was happy to hear about a Tune Up special and took the deal. Once I received my bike back the next day, riding it felt like a dream. Fantastic service and communication, and they found ways to repair the bike without driving up the cost. Very happy with their tune up work!

Really cool bike shop!
I’m not a bike expert but they have so many nice bikes. They also have cafe space with sitting area. I never knew this little shop is so big inside. People were so nice and friendly, service was quick and great. Definitely recommend!
Erika Goaldway (☆ 5/5)

Wanted to get my Brompton serviced and communication with them was good when I emailed to make an appointment. They were accommodating on my schedule and what my needs were.
Once I brought in my bike to be serviced Ethan welcomed me when he was free. He was transparent, which is really appreciated.
It has been difficult to find a bike shop that I would feel welcome. I definitely will be going back when needed!
Thank you Bike and Brew team

Super happy with the service. I brought my wife’s bike in on a Friday afternoon for a tune up and overall service. I was in no rush at all. Think it was going to take a week or so to be look at. Like some of the other bike shops out there. To my surprise I got a text on Saturday at 10am saying the bike was finished. Totally love the service, super fast, and the technician was great to work with. ( the seat is as big as a couch) lol
Wendell Morain (☆ 5/5)

Brought my bike for a tune-up. Was told it would take 1 week. 7-8 days go by. Radio silence. I call them. I’m told they ordered/received the wrong part. Will be another week. Another week goes by, no follow-up. I call again. The guy says it will be 1-2 more weeks. So 4 weeks total vs the 1 week quoted. I tell them this is too long and will have to take my bike somewhere else. The guy was super confrontational and told me he would have to charge me a restocking fee etc. No accountability taken for the delay or the lack of communication on their end. 1-2 day later they get the part and finally get it done. I get the bike. The tune up was incomplete, no cleanup of the chain or drivetrain was done. Just as bad as when i took the bike in. I am not coming back and recommend you find somewhere else to go. There are better bike shops around.

This is the place to take your electric toys that the other guys can’t fix. Gary expertly took apart my Electric Unicycle to fix a flat tire. I could not find anyone else brave enough to repair it. Amazing work and thoughtful advice on avoiding flats in the future. Major props!

Just purchased a new folding Volt Bike Mariner 2 and was a great experience. Very knowledgeable manager who really helped in configuring my new bike.
If you need a new bike consider a Voltbike from Wire & Wheel as super nice to deal with.
Rick Tovell (☆ 5/5)

The 2 gentleman at White & Wheel were professional and accommodating with our off brand folding E-bike. They were able to source and replace the controller, while also include an upgraded display from what we had before. They torqued all the loose bolts and made sure we were happy with everything before we paid and left, all within a week! I would 100% recommend Wire & Wheel to anybody who needs a repair, tune up or upgrades to their e-bike or electric scooters.
Justin Murray (☆ 5/5)

I bought a Volt bike here on the recommendation of a friend for the Volt brand, made in BC. The store was great. I got to try the bike. They had what I wanted in stock and they could order anything I needed from the company. Everything was assembled and adjusted. They also do repairs if I ever need it. Love my ebike. Great customer services. Will go back.

I had a great ski and boot rental here, it was a great price and the knowledge of the staff really gave me confidence to go with the recommendations they made. Fabulous place and even better staff. Highly recommend.

Outlaw Sports on Heritage Drive is my favourite local spot for ski and bike gear. They’ve got a great mix of new kit, rentals, and friendly advice from folks who clearly know their sport. Service is personal and prices are fair-I always leave feeling well-prepared and welcomed!
FiLex (☆ 5/5)

Incredible store and service. I bought my ski equipment from their rentals with an amazing price discount.
I had a problem with the ski in the first month of use, they promptly fixed.
They were super nice, explained a little about how the ski works.
I totally recommend them to everyone
Guilherme Stelle (☆ 5/5)

Please do not entrust your safety in the back country with this teams advice. We were recommended to rent light touring back country skis with no skins to do Skoki Lodge. Skoki is a very hard 12 km back country with some significant climbs. It was a disaster and the lodge was shocked. The manager at skoki came to the rescue and managed to get us proper equipment from Wilsons in Lake Louise and brought it to the lodge with a snowmobile -otherwise we were going to be stuck there with little options. The issue here is that mistakes happen but neither the owner or the sales person took any responsibility. They said it was a miscommunication. Are you kidding me!!! They did not even apologize!!. Please do not give them your business as there are many other places to rent who care and are owned locally. Terribly disappointment and it seriously impacted our expensive trip.

A Reliable and Knowledgeable Ski and Snowboard Gear Rental Shop
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Before investing in my own ski gear, I frequented this fantastic establishment for several seasons to rent my equipment. The owner or manager, who possesses an impressive level of expertise, always steered me in the right direction.
The young and friendly staff members who assisted me over the past couple of years were always accommodating and ensured that the gear fit me perfectly. They genuinely went the extra mile to provide a seamless experience.
Not only do they offer a wide range of new winter gear for sale, but at the end of each season, you can also take advantage of excellent discounts on pre-owned gear. It’s a fantastic opportunity to snag some quality equipment at a fraction of the original price.
One of the standout features of this rental shop is its generous return policy. You can pick up your gear the day before after 3 pm and enjoy a full day of skiing or snowboarding. The following day, you can conveniently return the equipment before noon, allowing for plenty of time to hit the slopes. This flexibility is highly appreciated by customers.
Moreover, I’m thrilled to mention that this place is dog-friendly. Every time I bring my pup along, the staff warmly welcomes her with attention and care. It’s heartening to know that they prioritize the comfort and happiness of their furry visitors.
In terms of convenience, there is ample parking available for customers, and the rental prices are reasonable. I highly recommend taking advantage of the $2 insurance they offer, as it provides peace of mind during your adventures. If it’s your first time visiting, be sure to arrive with enough time before closing, as they will take measurements and provide you with the perfect gear. Subsequent visits will be faster once they have your measurements on file.
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this place if you’re interested in trying out a snow sport. The combination of knowledgeable staff, convenient return policy, dog-friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices make it an excellent choice. Just remember to plan accordingly, as they do not accept American Express.
Enjoy your winter adventures with worry-free gear from this outstanding rental shop!

Customer Reviews
Super kind (and quick) staff, gear met expectations and clear on rental expectations. Not a top pick as they do not do overnight rentals. You will be charged a full extra day, so if you hit traffic on the way home you have to pay the full price, even if you return at open the next day. Not a great business model.
Heidi Pittman (☆ 3/5)

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They provided a great rental experience for our group looking into getting e-bikes for the first time. I would highly recommend this location to others looking for rental gear in the near future!
Rae Agarin (☆ 5/5)

Connor was incredibly helpful! He patiently guided us through all the mechanics of the e-bikes, making sure we felt comfortable and confident. We’d definitely come back again!
Claire Corias (☆ 5/5)

Excellent service and super quick turnaround time for a somewhat urgent tune on some ski’s. The staff working on the 12th of March in the evening were fantastic and helped me out quickly. I have always brought items here for maintenance and rented items here as well. A must try for all sports equipment needs.
Anna Kritikos (☆ 5/5)

So, I was heading out snowboarding, borrowing a friends board, but his boots didn’t fit me, so I stopped in at Sports Rent to rent a pair of boots for the day. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I walked out with a pair in about five minutes. I did not call ahead or make a reservation, just walked in, told them my size, signed a paper and gave a pre-authorized deposit, and walked out. It could not have been easier.
Boots were comfortable and in great condition, no issues at all with them. Price was amazing, less than $30 for the day. I will never rent from a ski hill again, this experience was just so great!
Oh, also, the staff was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help, didn’t get the names of the two guys that helped, but they were both great!
Cody Devereux (☆ 5/5)

Great experience. A big group of us went to Kananaskis and stopped by here to pickup our rentals beforehand. They were fast and everything worked out well. Just be warned that they will ask for a deposit on your credit card.
Vanessa T. (☆ 4/5)

I’ve used the services provided several times and in various ways. The team is always helpful and generous. They helped with my bike tire and didn’t even charge! I’ve had numerous rentals, skate sharpening and bike repairs done here. Great team.
