Just finished my MELT Class 1 program at Derek Brown’s and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was professional, patient, and made sure we were set up for success. Big thanks to Marvin and Dan, both were excellent instructors with different styles that really helped round out my training. Marvin’s calm and encouraging approach helped build my confidence behind the wheel, and Dan’s sharp eye for detail pushed me to tighten up my technique and really prepare for the road test. Highly recommend Derek Brown’s to anyone serious about learning and getting their Class 1. Great instruction, solid support, and a well-run program from start to finish.

Would 100% recommend these guys to anyone, especially if you're nervous about driving. As an older learner and an immigrant I had a lot of anxiety about learning to drive, but my instructor Qusay has been amazing; always very supportive and encouraging without babying me, and is also very careful to explain the 'why' behind everything, as well as teaching me useful tips that aren't taught in the books. The admin staff are also super helpful and always on top of communication, reminders etc. Couldn't be happier overall!

I had a brush-up manual driving lesson with Qusay Majeed. He was a great teacher and had the utmost patience for my shall we say less than experienced driving skills. He always stayed proactive and refreshed my skills expertly. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get back in the saddle of driving manual - it has been almost 15 years for me - and after my 2 hour session I am confident to go test drive manual vehicles and buy one of my own! Thanks again to Qusay and Derke Brown's Academy for getting me in so quickly and efficiently!

My driving instructor was Mahasen, she is an amazing teacher and taught me so many things. When I first started my lessons I was super nervous but she always made she I was confident and taught me things to help me be a better driver. By the end of my 5 lessons I have learned so much and I feel like a better driver and confident enough to take my drivers test. I totally recommend requesting her to be your teacher because she is the best.

I had an amazing experience learning to drive at Derek Brown's Academy of Driving. I took the Class 5 training, and I must say that the overall process was very smooth and convenient. The online lessons were very helpful, although the platform could use some updates. My instructor, Robert, was fantastic! He is highly professional, patient, and made every lesson both safe and enjoyable. I felt completely confident behind the wheel under his guidance. I really appreciate his calm and encouraging approach, which made learning to drive a stress-free and even fun experience. Highly recommend this driving school and especially Robert as an instructor!

Derek browns great driving school. My significant other was attending this school . He told me the Instructors are very kind, informative . Office staff were there to help,with any questions . Training was excellent. He highly recommends this school if anyone out there is considering of obtaining there class one . Dan was a great instructor very knowledgeable and approachable with any concerns .. thank you Derek browns

My instructor, Qusay, was incredibly patient but encouraging -- his teaching methods worked for me as an inexperienced driver learning standard for the first time. Not only was my in-car driving experience pleasant and worth the cost, the rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful when it came to rescheduling and other problems I had reached out to them about. My only complaint is that they do not offer a pick-up option for standard transmission lessons, making it slightly inconvenient for me as someone who lives 30 minutes away. Either way, the lessons were super helpful and I enjoyed every lesson.
