We had an amazing time at Jane Bone BBQ! The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. Every bite was a hit!

What made the experience even more special was how the staff helped us celebrate my husband’s birthday. They went out of their way to make it memorable, and we truly appreciated the warm, friendly atmosphere.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for great BBQ and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing!! Had the crawfish boil, brisket and pulled pig and loaded brisket potato skins. peach cobbler and coconut cornbread all delicious. And lots of gluten free options. Where do I begin!!!! First off the staff (Cindy,Adam and Debbie) you guys made my husband and I first visit welcoming and EASY!!! Love when the staff talk about their menu with passion that gets you mouth watering and need some. I DO NOT like coconut, but that coconut cornbread is finger licking GREAT!!! The broil we had was soooo yummy, the ambiance was zen!!! Thanks for not doing the cow bell announcing it’s my birthday!!!! Love the shot!! As visitors to Calgary, we will be bringing our family back!!!!! Thank you guys!!! Nuff luv

Our first experience with Jane Bond BBQ was attending their Island Tasting Dinner (it took place in their event space). What a fun and tasty event! We were served multi course tapas and cocktail pairings and THEN a buffet and dessert. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so much fun! I would highly recommend attending one of their events and my husband and I will definitely be visiting the main restaurant soon to check out their regular menu.

Such an original and casual atmosphere and servers were so welcoming and fun to talk with. Food was so good and Mac and cheese was out of this world beans just as good. Meat sweats for hours now. I will definitely be coming back when I’m in Calgary

Great atmosphere when you first walk in, staff is so wonderful and cheerful, the greatest staff. They have alot of knowledge of the menu, they let me taste the tap options. The food was delicious not one item on the food for 4 was not disappointing. The corn was my favorite! And great selection of BBQ sauces! Definitely a BBQ favorite!

We had them cater our wedding. We had the AAA beef, bbq chicken, ceaser salad, veggies, and onion/mushrooms. The food was amazing!! The beef was so tender! All of our guests were commenting on how delicious everything is. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get!! Will definitely use them again in the future. Got our wedding reception catering from Rocky Mountain BBQ. Braden always responded quickly and answered all of our questions! Our guests loved the food – the pulled pork, potato salad and spinach dip were the favs!

We booked Rocky Mountain BBQ for our wedding, and they were fantastic. We did pulled pork and pulled chicken, Caesar salad, and fully loaded roast potatoes. Guests were raving about the pulled pork. Nobody went hungry – there was even enough for seconds for some people. We ordered charcuterie trays and I understand from guests they were delicious (I was away taking pictures).

Braden was communicative, easy to work with, and accommodated the insane amount of allergies our guests had (WHO IS ALLERGIC TO BLACK PEPPER??). His team that came out day of were so friendly and professional. Everything went smoothly.

We were at a DIY venue and I appreciated paying RM a very reasonable upcharge to have them clear all the plates.

This is a hidden gem of an amazing food to go style restaurant that also offers catering! Usually I would get my go to Beef Brisket and fries but today I had the house specialty Smokey Meatball Sandwich and it turned out to be the best Meatball sub I have ever had! Great price as well. Very empressed! Very friendly staff that get your order done super fast.

Great place to satisfy your bbq cravings! I tried their burger with mac n cheese and it was SO GOOD! I recommend their deluxe potato and caesar salad as a side too. I was surprised at how fast I got my order and the staff were super friendly. Definitely coming back to try their entire menu!

If you’re looking for a new lunch spot, you found one! This is by far the best place the office orders from. Are you a fan of meat and potatoes? Me too, this is the spot! And the prices are low and the amount of food will fill you! I can’t say enough good things about this place. All of the staff I’ve encountered over the last year are full of smiles and laughs! If you haven’t tried this place, you are truly missing out! Anyways, gonna finish eating my loaded potatoes from the picture 🙂

We arranged catering for a few Client Appreciation Lunches and were thoroughly impressed by both the exceptional food and outstanding customer service. Braden was incredibly helpful and friendly, guiding us in planning options to suit everyone. The food was delivered punctually and tasted amazing.

Stopped by to visit the Italian market and came home with 2 pizzas and 2 lasagnas. The pizza had a great crispy crust. And the Lasagna was very tasty. I definitely will be going back to pick up some more food to put in the freezer as everything was very good. This is a mini lasagna.its enough to feed 2 to 4 people.

Roma catered our wedding just over a week ago and they were fantastic! From the first conversations with Danny, to the tasting that felt like eating with family, to the set up, dinner service, bartending and clean up – every single aspect of the experience was so well executed. The only thing better than the experience with the team was the food! People raved about the meal to us during and after. We got married on a property with very little at our disposal for the kitchen crew and we didn’t have to compromise on the meals we wanted (3 courses with dessert too!) and the quality was top notch. I’m so glad we found Roma, you guys really made our day extra special. And I’m so happy that when we want to relive our day we can come to your kitchen! Thank you so much for being so amazing! Choosing Roma means choosing fresh delicious food made with love and no need to stress.

I hired Roma Catering for an event at my home and it was so well done! I had 49 people to feed and realized I was not going to be able to cook for that many people. Roma was so lovely to deal with from the very beginning to the very end. The service and food was 10/10. Honestly, they made it so easy that I highly recommend using them for your next event. The team that worked my specific event was so lovely and the food was so good. I really loved that all table settings were included.

Had the most delicious chicken parmesan sandwich along with a delicious Caesar salad and bruscetta. All so good!! The friendly and excellent service by Jen was amazing.

Roma catering is amazing. The staff are all so friendly. We had the prime rib dinner for 6 for new years eve and it was just as delicious as the year before. Excellent sized portions and high quality ingredients, the prime rib was cooked perfectly medium rare throughout, and incredibly tender, despite keeping it warm for an hour before serving. Topped off with a great cake for desert. Highly recommend. If I had one suggestion it would be a few more grilled veggies.
Their frozen lasagnas are also amazing, make sure you always have one on hand for entertaining or an easy weeknight meal.

We used Roma for our rehearsal dinner and it was amazing!! We had the lasagna and chicken rose lasagna! We also had ceaser salad and garlic bread. Everyone loved all the food! Would highly recommend using Roma for any event!!

I first visited last Friday and I plan to return. The food, service, atmosphere and service were all stop shelf. I plan to bring as many people to this restaurant so they can experience the same thing I did. Spread the word, the happy hour is fantastic and the bacon carbonara was one of the best I have ever tasted.

This restaurant is perfect for happy hour, for date night, for a business meeting, everything. I strongly recommend paying a visit.

First night in Calgary and looking for a place to eat, that was an easy walk from the Fairmont hotel. Toscana was just a few blocks away.

It was a Sunday night, and there were only a few other tables of people. Got seated right away. We had a party of 6. Got settled in right away with waters and menus. Our server was super friendly. I ordered the Basil Hugo Spritz, which was a great choice. Very refreshing, not to strong.

We decided on a couple of pizzas. A cheese, sausage, onion, and the other was Honey Drizzle (pesto sauce, toasted almonds, arugula, honey) Both were very good. Nice crust (but could have been a little thinner/crispier).

Overall a good experience. Service was a bit spotting, and we had to keep looking for our server to get the bill.

Would stop in again.

Toscana Italian Grill offers an amazing atmosphere that perfectly blends warmth and elegance. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a super friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The bar is a standout feature—stylish, vibrant, and a great spot to start your evening.

The appetizers are absolutely delicious and set the tone for the rest of the meal. You *must* order a pizza for the table—crispy, flavorful, and crafted with care. Be sure to ask about their specials, too; every dish seems to outdo the last.

And whatever you do, save room for dessert! It’s the perfect sweet finish to a fantastic dining experience. Toscana is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Came here with a friend for dinner and really enjoyed it, we’ll definitely be back! We had Max as our server and he was fantastic. The service was super fast too!

We shared the aranchini which were some of the best, crispy outside and tasty filling. The butternut ravioli was my favorite pasta dish, but the gnocchi and one with peppers and tomatoes were right behind it. The gnocchi were probably some of the fluffiest I’ve had! Portion sizes were really good for the price too.

We are very pleased with our experience at Toscana. We arrived with our reservation at 6 PM. Our server Lindsay was thoughtful, considerate, and very knowledgeable.

The menu was very diverse, giving us plenty of options to choose from with a very moderate price of $60 per person. Very happy to see that this business was doing well seeing how quickly the restaurant filled up. The food was excellent, and you can truly taste the authenticity and how much the chefs care.

The owner came over and wished us a happy Valentines, you can see how much he cares for his staff and the patrons that come in ensuring they enjoy their time.

I truly hope this business succeeds and will be returning to try other menu options.

I stopped by to check out the atmosphere and see if it was my kind of place,,, and wow, I was seriously impressed! I was lucky enough to be seated near the bar where Megan took care of us, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was absolutely incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

The vibe, the drinks, the energy, everything exceeded my expectations. The appetizers were fantastic, full of flavor and beautifully presented. But whatever you do, leave room for dessert! Their cheesecake is hands down the best I’ve ever had, rich, smooth, perfectly balanced. I’ve tried a lot of desserts in professional, high-end places, and this one easily tops them all. It’s truly unforgettable.

Megan even took the time to show us the VIP room, and her kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. I’m already planning to come back with friends and can’t wait to book the room for my birthday!

We’ve enjoyed the south location of Tuscanna before so we really wanted to enjoy our experience at the new location on 10th.

Even though there wasn’t more than five tables, the food took quite a while to come out. The portions were very large, but the quality and flavor of food wasn’t great.

The staff was pleasant and friendly.

We had a wonderful experience working with Simply Elegant for a special family event. From start to finish, the communication was clear, prompt, and thoughtful—something we truly appreciated throughout the planning process. Even though our group was small, the team made everything feel incredibly meaningful and memorable.

Jenn was absolutely amazing to work with. She transformed our parents’ home into a warm, elegant space with simple yet beautiful touches that captured the spirit of the evening perfectly. The food was superb—thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The chef clearly put care into every dish.

We use Simply Elegant catering for our breakfast board meetings and they never disappoint! The food is always tasty and they show up on time and come back to pick up the equipment afterwards. They are our GO TO catering company and we highly recommend them.

They not only catered the event, but looked after the decorating and cleaning up the venue. Food and drinks were tasty! Would definitely recommend!

The team at Foodworks did a great job of catering our corporate holiday party! Garret was very patient through the planning process, accommodating our multiple changes and substitutions. All the food was well-received and service was incredible; we would use them again for future events.

Our favourite canapes were the crispy smashed potatoes and proscuitto-wrapped jumbo prawns. Everyone loved the loaded nacho boats and pretzels for grazing as well. Next time, we would choose the steak short plate instead of the potato gnocchi.

The only feedback would be to display flavours for the desserts (macarons/cream puffs) since there were a few people who were not fond of the mint and chocolate pairings.

We’ve had Food Works Catering at our office several times, and every meal has been a hit. The food is consistently delicious, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Our employees rave about it and regularly request to have them back every month. Food Works brings great variety and creativity to every menu they build, making each experience feel fresh and unique. Our wedding food was absolutely fantastic thanks to Garret and the team at Food Works Craft Catering! Our guests really were blown away by not only the food but the service as well! From Handmade Bao Buns & Tater Tots for our Late Night Snack to Chicken Supreme stuffed with Wild Mushrooms & Leeks, our Menu was spectacular start to finish.

Garret really went above and beyond throughout the whole planning process as well, from creating our tailored menu to working out the day of details, Garret made sure everything was taken care of so the day could flow smoothly! We googled to find a caterer for a small event and landed on Food Works Craft Catering and are we ever glad we did! Garret responded to my random «contact us» and was a professional, reliable pleasure to plan with. We asked for food ideas and Garret presented a menu we readily accepted and he hit the nail on the head for our event. Chef Carlos made the tastiest, most beautiful food and Melissa worked her magic effortlessly throughout the night, making sure everyone was attended to. Garret worked with us through all of the changes with the COVID-19 pandemic and our ever changing wedding plans. He ultimately was able to cater our anniversary party, and the food was the highlight of the party. All of the food was elegant and beautifully presented. We are so grateful for Garret’s flexibility with our event and are thrilled with his services and could not recommend a better caterer. We recently booked Green Bean Catering for our wedding reception and they exceeded all expectations.

Despite booking them very last minute due to our previous company leaving us on read, we were able to organize a very well received spread. We were able to cater to many different dietary needs (GF, vegetarian/vegan) no one felt ignored!

Special shout out to Jackie for being top notch with her response and communication, as well as the staff that helped set up in our space.

Our guests raved about the food, and I swear everyone was constantly eating, yet we had sooo much food leftover! Very good value.

We each had Italian Meat with one on white bread and one on sub. The Italian Meat was so flavorful and made the simple sandwich so delicious. I definitely want to come back to grab some sandwiches in the future. One of my colleagues had the roast beef sandwich. When asked if she liked it, she said I ate the whole thing!

The brownie and the carrot cake were the perfect complement to the yummy sandwiches. Also include but not pictured were bananas. We had them the next day.

We used Green Bean for our wedding and we would give them 1000/10 if we could. The service was impeccable, the communication leading up to our wedding was second to none, and the people working for the company are elite professionals. We were so looked after by the staff. I can’t even begin to describe how grateful we are for the incredible level of service we received. Not only was the food delicious (and a highlight for our guests), the staff went above and beyond with clean up and maintenance. It was so helpful the day after as we had minimal clean up to do on our end thanks to them. I recently started ordering Green Bean Catering for my family while working at home and it has saved my life! Jackie designed a weekly meal plan that fit my tight budget and food restrictions. Visionary Catering did such a great job catering for our Wine Tasting and Dinner event. They were so easy to work with and they tailored everything according to our budget. They also went above and beyond in terms of some last minute changes that we had and I was extremely appreciative of this. During our event everyone had very high compliments about the food and they enjoyed their dinner very much so. I would 100% recommend and use them all the time for any of your catering needs.

I have been using Visionary Catering’s services for the last two years for our corporate year-end party and other small events. They always show up with the best staff. Everyone is super helpful and has a smile on their face. Their service is 5 stars! Their food is incredible. All our guests rave about how delicious the meals are. They are super responsive and genuinely care about our event and want it shine. It is clear they take pride in their work and I have never had a better catering experience than I have with Visionary! Lindsay and his amazing team are the best in town! If you want the best catering experience with best food, I recommend you call them first!

We found Visionary Catering at the Cochrane Bridal Fair last February and Lindsay was an absolute dream to work with. We originally booked everything for our wedding prior to Covid and once Covid hit Lindsay communicated with us lots reassuring and informing us of what changes would be made. The day of the wedding the food went off without a hitch. Our grazing table and main meal was a huge hit- the food was absolutely delicious and the service from the staff was 5 star. We also used them for our bartending and many of our guests told us how amazing the bartender was. The precautions they took were amazing to make our guests feel safe . I cannot recommend Visionary enough to trust with your event. High end food and service at a reasonable, fair price.

My wife and I attended «Steak 101» at Meadow Muse Pavillion hosted by Great Events Catering. I’d call it a hot mess but that might imply that any of the food was actually hot. It was slow and disorganized. The bar line was so slow that it took until an hour after the event start just to get people seated with drinks, and it was half an hour after that before we got our first course of salad. That salad had a terrible sweet bacon dressing. Lots of people send their plates back half eaten. I suffered through it as I was starving by this point. They ran out of servings when they were 5 from the end and while they quickly corrected, they obviously didn’t even know how many they were plating for which comes down to headcounts from the event organizer.

We waited for at least 20-25 minutes before more food arrived – the «accompaniments». This included cold soggy onion rings, cold potatoes, cold greasy garlic toast, brussels sprouts that might have seen a pan for 30 seconds but were basically raw, and sauteed mushrooms. The mushrooms, while stone cold, were the only thing that was tasty and might have been good at some point. By this time people were so hungry that they just started chowing down and didn’t wait for steak. A server came by and offered to refill out accompaniments plate which we gladly accepted hoping round two would be warm. It was colder than round one. Eventually we did get steak. Mine was fine (other than stone cold) – all between medium rare and slightly more than medium. Other people at the table got anything from rare to well done. My wife was able to swap her almost-rare pieces for my almost-well pieces so we were both happy but others didn’t have that luxury. The compound butter and Chimichurri served with the steak were the stars of the show. Dessert was quite good so we ended on a positive note.

In the end, we arrived at 6:00 PM and left at 9:45 PM – almost 4 hours for seating and dinner and not worth the wait. I’ll never dine at The Ranche or Annie’s (not that I ever have), I would absolutely never hire Great Events to cater a corporate event or wedding.

Remember the time we went to Agra and got pictures of everything but the Taj Mahal? That’s what this review feels like because I forgot to take a pic of the MAIN ATTRACTION! The largest, most succulent, vibrant lobsters I have had in decades. But, please don’t punish Great Events Catering because of my mistake. I assure you the entire meal we ordered had us surreptitiously licking our plates.

It’s become an end-of-the-year tradition to order lobster dinner. If Great Events keeps the same seafood supplier, this will be our go-to choice! The dinner came prepared, to heat: oven vegetables, white asparagus preserves, beet trio with goat cheese salad, artisan baguette, whole Atlantic lobsters, buttered rum eggnog cheesecake.

The price was very reasonable (including the cost of home delivery) and the presentation was beautiful. Most importantly the ingredients were fresh and the flavours delightful. We had been looking very forward to this meal for weeks and even still, it surpassed our expectations.

Went to an open house tasting and the quality was way higher than expected. Food was good and had a lovely presentation. However they did a poor job labelling allergies. For celiacs, they do have gluten free food but be cautious of cross contamination and poor labelling, I did get glutened. Service was decent, some good and some passable. The food overall was really enjoyable and modern which lead to the carter being booked from this tasting. The wine they served however was not good so see if they have other options.

Was a guest last night at a Mexican themed birthday party…Great Events Catering did an AMAZING job. The food was delicious! And the portions were so generous. The staff was wonderful, I’d hire these fabulous caters anytime!! Thank you!

I must give a ‘Glowing’ Review for Great Events Catering. It was excellent Service and attention to detail from the very first phone call (with Caroline Mazzillo) about planning a Catered Dinner Party for 40 people. The Party was a Mexican Fiesta Theme, and ALL the food was ‘outstanding’ which incorporated this cuisine. The Empanadas, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Mexican Rice, Kabobs, Greek Salad, Hand-Cut Tortilla Chips with homemade Salsa & Guacamole and all the Desserts were absolutely ‘delicious’!! There was also plenty of food and our Dinner could probably have fed 60 people. Amazing!!!
The Staff who came to our home to set up all the Food & Dishes were so helpful, friendly and Professional. We just cannot say enough on how ‘Thrilled’ we were with this Food & Service and we definitely would hire Great Events Catering again!!! Thank You so much for making our Party truly ‘Exceptional’!! You are a 5 Star Company!!! Bravo!!!

I used this amazing catering company for my wedding reception at Spruce Meadows. They did an outstanding job. They set up all of the tables, place setting, and made the most elegant dishes. The food was delicious, and they were so accommodating to all the allergies and intolerances present. I specifically worked with Michelle, who worked SO hard, and was SO flexible, to ensure the evening was perfect. She was extremely quick to follow up on emails, and always answered in great detail. The servers, cooks, and everyone else behind the scenes did an amazing job to make our wedding reception wonderful! My husband and I are eternally grateful.

Ordered 2 charcuterie boards for Mother’s Day. Tasted great but looked like they were thrown together without a single care being given. With the amount of companies offering these products and services, I likely won’t be ordering again. A significant part of the charcuterie experience is the presentation, and I found myself quite disappointed at what arrived.

We used BlackSalt for our wedding catering. Food was amazing. They were able to accommodate special dieting needs and were very flexible about how many people we needed the food for up until a few days before the event. The roasted veggie sliders and samosas were the star of the dining experience. Portions were more than plenty. They were also able to make a special East Indian dish for the wedding which was a huge hit with everyone!

Definitely will be using their services again for future events or even small parties.

How is this «English Style» Fish & chips? How is this any kind of fish & Chips?? & for $21 bucks??

The fish was horrible and cold, fries taste like McCain’s frozen fries and were cold. The container wasn’t even half full either!!

Shake was flavoured water and the cake was a sliver size piece (not sure i even want to try it )

We liked that they have wide range of menu, from breakfast plate to curry & naan, they also have baked goods.we tried steak sandwich with yam fries, mushroom soup, lamb curry with butter naan and chicken wings. Yam fries were really good, the curry was also delicious! The service was amazing, they took such a good care of us, we had great experience.

Black Salt Catering exceeded all expectations across three events for my team. They offered a fantastic variety of vegan-friendly meals that were both creative and delicious, impressing even the most discerning palates. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every dish, and the attention to dietary preferences was much appreciated. Their service was top-notch, and the food consistently was in both flavor and presentation. I highly recommend Black Salt Catering for any event — they deliver excellence every time!

I used black salt for my wedding catering.
Pros: food is delicious, very affordable and large portion sizes. Bonus that the food also warms up well as we had a lot of left overs. Communication and organization was also very efficient and professional.
Cons: the location for the menu sampling looks like a biker bar so we opted to do take out. The chef came to discuss the options with us prior to sending us off with the food which was an added bonus. This is a minor con and shouldn’t scare anyone off.
We got married in a location NW of Calgary and they were able to drop off for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, there is no cell service and the vehicle had troubles finding the place so was 1.5 hours late. Bonus points for persisting however, negatives for blaming the directions and stating that they were looking for balloons (they had popped during the day). I was assuming that the caterer would contact us after the fact to apologize but I have not heard anything. I tried sending photos to assist the process day of but those must not have been passed along to the driver. However, everyone raved about the food. I would still highly recommend to use them to cater (especially in Calgary or where there is cell reception).

We just had the make your own taco bar last night for our wedding welcome party and everyone gave rave reviews! Their communication was great throughout, they had huge portions and were able to accommodate entirely gluten free needs. Cannot recommend enough!
