Thank you Dr. Allison for such a smooth and very comforting insertion session! She made sure I was aware what to expect prior to the process and kept me well-informed throughout the process. I had a pretty traumatic experience at another clinic before, and this is nowhere close to that. Thank you so so much for being very kind and amazing in the process, it is really appreciated. This clinic and the whole team is amazing. Very well recommended! ❤️

I came to this clinic to have my IUD removed and replaced after reading good reviews online. The doctors and staff are very kind, helpful and accommodating. I was really anxious about the procedure as my first IUD insertion experience a few years ago was quite unpleasant (at a different clinic). Dr. Wong reassured me, offered a local anesthetic (which worked wonders), walked me through each step of the procedure and checked on me after each step. I will be recommending this clinic to all the uteri owners I know!

I have never had such a pleasant experience going in for a well woman exam as I had here. The lady answering the phone was lovely (I think her name is Denise) and she was able to get me in the same day due a prior cancellation. She was just as pleasant and helpful during my visit. When I showed up the doctor I was supposed to see was a bit behind, so Denise moved me to a different doctor, which was completely fine with me as this was my first time ever coming in and I didn’t know the doctors to begin with. Dr. Miu (sp?) was awesome. She seemed to actually care about me as a person and she was super gentle during the exam. She was very personable and helpful with questions I had. I will definitely be back. Thank you, ladies!

I went to this clinic to see if I could get some help with the good old «hot flashes» . I saw Dr. Parker and she was just lovely. As were the front desk Medical Office Assistants. They were friendly, quick and professional. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the door and the assistant smiled at me. Dr. Parker took an incredible amount of time with me and knew so much about all the things I asked her about. She was thoughtful on her answers, asked me MY opinion on things, and I left feeling like I got absolutely everything I needed from the visit. Excellent clinic and staff, I would highly recommend going to see them at this clinic.

I received the best fertility care from Maria, and I’m so grateful for her exceptional support. She’s a truly generous and calm professional who listens attentively to your needs, providing detailed guidance and reassurance.

I can’t express how grateful I am for the support I’ve received from Lexi Burt. As someone who was always curious about understanding my body better, I had tried tracking my cycle on my own before, but I could never quite get the hang of it. That’s where Lexi came in—and she completely transformed my approach to my health and fertility.

From the start, Lexi’s guidance was nothing short of amazing. She took the time to listen to my concerns and goals, providing a personalized approach to understanding my menstrual cycle, hormonal balance, and overall fertility. She helped me track my cycle with precision, teaching me the most effective methods and tools to understand the nuances of my body’s rhythms.

What really stood out to me was her deep knowledge of how factors like stress, diet, and lifestyle can impact fertility. She was able to help me identify patterns I never would have noticed on my own, and through her advice, I’ve learned so much about my own cycle—when I’m most fertile, when I might be at risk for hormonal imbalances, and how to take proactive steps toward better reproductive health.

Lexi’s expertise as a fertility advisor goes beyond just cycle tracking. She takes a holistic approach, helping you understand the connection between your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Her approach is compassionate and empowering. With Lexi, I feel informed, supported, and most importantly, confident in my body’s natural rhythms.

If you’re looking for a fertility advisor who is knowledgeable, approachable, and truly passionate about helping you navigate your fertility journey, I highly recommend Lexi Burt.

We now just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on February 14th 2025. Maria is so kind, taking care to listen to your specific wants and needs. Alice helped me understand my cycle so much better and helped me discover a few underlying issues that I was never aware of. I highly recommend fertility care to everyone it was a great experience.

Over the past 5 years I have worked with several functional medical doctors, acupuncturists, Chinese medicine doctors, naturopaths – everyone, to help us conceive baby #2.

None of them focused on properly charting. In fact, I thought I knew how to chart – but working with Lexi, I realized I missed some important steps.

It’s frustrating that this wasn’t a focus until now – because though charting and talking with Lexi, she helped me uncover that I have a subclinical grade of hypothyroidism (my doctor confirmed via blood work – but didn’t catch it) and insulin resistance.

Both of these factors impair fertility and if it wasn’t for following the method Lexi showed me, I wouldn’t have caught it.

I am approaching 42 and it’s beyond frustrating that this wasn’t caught at 36 when we decided to work on baby #2.

Working with Lexi is definitely a worthwhile investment – and she is lovely, very smart, knows this area very well and easy to talk to.

You’re lying through your teeth! How dare you act like you don’t even know me? I spent so much money at your clinic, and I still have all the emails as proof! Your name is Maria—you told me to consult Brigitte Diemand for the first three months, use NFP charting, and then referred me to a male doctor in Calgary who prescribed medication. How can you pretend to forget me? We were emailing just a year ago! Your advice was ridiculously expensive—and completely useless! You wasted my time for nothing….

Don’t believe a word she says! This guy wasted over a year of my time and thousands of dollars. His «method» starts with pushing expensive software to track cycles, then demands payment every 3 months—no pay, no advice. All she does is prescribe vitamins and refer you to his partner doctor for meds. Every time I asked why I wasn’t getting pregnant, her answer was just «keep paying for more pills and vitamins.» Zero results, only lies. Stop preying on vulnerable people!

I had never had an osteopathy massage before, but a friend of mine had seen Dr. Anna and said not only was it the best massage she had had, but Dr. Anna was able to release spots in her shoulders that hadn’t been released in over 10 years. I met with Dr. Anna and she was kind and welcoming and explained to me what she would be doing during the assessment. She did a very thorough full body assessment and let me know what condition my muscles and joints were in and was able to release tons of tight spots all over my body. I felt fantastic when I left and booked a follow up appointment a week later. I highly recommend Dr. Anna and I look forward to booking in again!

I was here yesterday for a procedure which was quick and very successful.

I arrived at the urgent care entrance at about 4:20pm and was warmly welcomed by one lady who directed me to the lady in charge of admitting people/clients to the sexual reproductive health at the urgent care entrance.

In fact, this lady was a true definition of rudeness. Her professionalism was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name
Initially, I was given her the benefit of the doubt that she had a bad or long day…

It will be unfair to talk about this woman without talking about the amazing and kind nurse and doctor I met yesterday.
Nici was my nurse and a doctor whose name I can’t remember. Both were very professional. God bless you both

Lastly, the lady at the reception too was super nice.

I had my birth control removed from here and a new one prescribed to me. Hands down amazing nurses and doctors. Showed they truly cared.

Very unprofessional and unethical place. I got 2 IUD put in from here. The first one was okay but I wanted to switch out for a Mirena one. And I got it 7 months ago, however I was bleeding almost everyday for 7 months with pain. I came in twice to get it check, the doctor had seen me said it’s normal and check the position with her FINGER, not even with an ultrasound. When I went on vacation back home, and got it check there. Turned out my IUD wasn’t even my uterus, it was falling out and poking the back of the uterus. Hence, the bleeding and pain. This could have been prevented if they actually listen to what I said and do their jobs properly. During the time that I had it, it wasn’t even working. This could’ve escalated to a tubal pregnancy. So I got it removed there, and my period hasn’t come back yet. So I called the clinic to let them know situation and ask what to do. They had the audacity to tell me go find my family doctor and they got nothing to do with this. This just shows this practice is very irresponsible, unethical when it comes to their patients.

We have been with this clinic for almost 3 years and although we did not achieve pregancy through them, I just wanted to say it was lovely to get to experience our baby journey with Dr. P and his team. His wife is also beyond amazing. Although the clinic went through many staff changeovers and wait times were a little long at times. We were always greeted with smiles and optimism. I am sad to say we will not be with this clinic anymore as we are pregnant using a donor outside of the clinic. Thank you Dr. P, your wife & your team for trying your best to make our dreams come true. I would recommend this clinic, if you want kind, compassionate care with the best optimism. As doctor P said, the only ones that done get pregnant are the ones that stop trying! ♥️

We are overjoyed to share that our first IVF attempt with Dr. Pirwany and his incredible team was a success! From the very beginning, the entire process was smooth, well-explained, and handled with the utmost professionalism. Dr. Pirwany’s expertise and compassionate approach gave us confidence, while his staff provided prompt responses, clear guidance, and genuine support at every step.

The clinic’s attention to detail, organized scheduling, and warm environment made a challenging journey feel manageable and even hopeful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are deeply grateful for the care we received. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking fertility treatment!

Thank you, Dr. Pirwany and team—you’ve made our dreams come true!

I am writing this review with the caveat that we were ultimately able to achieve our goal and have our baby. If the only thing that matters to you is the outcome, then yes, the clinic helped us get there. However, the overall experience was far from smooth, and I believe it’s important to share the challenges we faced.

Fertility treatments are already an emotionally,. financially and physically demanding process, but unfortunately, this clinic did little to make it any easier.

Limited Doctor Interaction: You rarely see the doctor, and when you do, the encounters feel rushed and impersonal. It seems like they may have too many patients, which impacts the level of care and attention provided.

Terrible Punctuality: Scheduling appointments was extremely frustrating. I once had to wait four hours past my appointment time to be seen. This made planning around work and personal life incredibly stressful.

Inefficient Communication System: The clinic insists that all communication must go through their app, but the app frequently crashes. When you call for help, they just tell you to use the app creating a frustrating cycle, especially when timely responses are critical for treatment.

Lack of Follow-Up: After my first beta test, no one called me with the results. After my second, I had to chase them down with multiple calls, only to finally get a response when I became visibly frustrated. My medication was running out, and I had no guidance. The nurse’s response? «Well, don’t you have access to your Alberta Health ID?» Even if I did, I’m not a doctor; Google can only take you so far. Finding out I was pregnant in such a detached manner after so much struggle was incredibly disappointing.

The one shining light in all of this was Nurse Sunshine. She is the definition of what a nurse should be compassionate, supportive, and genuinely invested in her patients. Her kindness made a significant difference in our journey, and I cannot thank her enough.

While we are grateful for our baby, the journey was far more stressful than it needed to be. This is a paid service and I hope this clinic improves its processes because no one should have to experience unnecessary frustration on top of an already difficult fertility journey

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WANT TO DECIEVE YOU INTO BELIEVING YOU ARE BROKEN SO THEY CAN SELL YOU IVF AND DONOR EGGS.

They look for the smallest issue, turn it into a huge issue, crush you, decieve you, and tell you the only hope is IVF with donor eggs – I got pregnant naturally the very next month.

I self-referred here (first mistake) because I hadnt gotten pregnant after only 4 months of trying. All my partners and I tests came back perfect except for my AMH was low. The doctor didn’t even call me back, instead he got some random lady to call me and told me «you have old ovaries and a grandma uterus» «your only hope is through IVF with donor eggs».

I found this hard to believe so I did an insurmountable amount of research with accredited medical Institutes which concluded that 1. AMH alone IS NOT a marker of fertility (it is a marker used to measure reactiveness to IVF treatment, and yes while it marks egg QUANTITY, it does not reflect egg QUALITY). 2. Breastfeeding can suppressed AMH, it can take upto 12 months for the hypothalomic-ovarian axis to return to normal (so, upto a year for this number to be correctly reflected). My AMH level was not interfering with my fertility at all, it was because I was breastfeeding – this was confirmed by me getting pregnant the very next cycle WITHOUT any intervention.

The clinic knew all of this and instead of explaining this, chose to prey on my insecurity and told me i was completely broken, and my only option was their most expensive treatment – because, think about it, if you’re a private co.pany selling a service, you would definitely be incentivised to sell your most profitable product – even at the expense of desperate, vulnerable people looking for help.

This establishment operates under sinister principals and only wants your money at the expense of your hopes and dreams. This is not okay – DO NOT GO HERE.

We were referred to Oasis last summer and were really excited to start our journey to have a baby through this clinic. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely frustrating. The communication from the clinic is very poor. They make everything very difficult and don’t give answers when you ask. I called and sent messages and many times, I never got any replies. We had ONE meeting with the doctor that lasted about 10 minutes. I had several tests done between July-September and never got ANY results until October. We were told in October that I had «no eggs» but my uterus was a great candidate for IVF. They pushed hard for us to use a donor egg which we did not feel comfortable with at all. After absolutely no follow up after our telephone conversation with the doctor for next steps, except the list of fees, we decided to give up on our dreams of having a baby. Fast forward to December and we are pregnant naturally. Furthermore, my 2nd ultrasound revealed that I have fibroids which the doctor at Oasis said I didn’t have. And clearly I do have eggs since I am pregnant naturally. It seems that all they want is money and I’m extremely disturbed that they gave me the completely wrong results for my tests. Did they get my file confused with someone else? I don’t recommend this place at all.

We struggled with Infertility for 5 years and eventually switched from an Edmonton clinic and went to Oasis. Dr. Pirwany was very open to ideas we had right from the start. It for sure was not a one size fits all type of clinic which we needed. The nurses and receptionist were always so kind and helpful in anyway they could be. Our IVF journey was difficult, but they made us feel supported. Thank you Oasis!

On our third session of IUI, we were able to get pregnant. So happy and grateful to the effort given by the Oasis staff and Dr. Pirwany to make our pregnancy journey come true. There are some issues along the way, but the staff are prompt to address them. The nursing staff are caring, friendly, and will make you feel at ease. To those who are trying to get pregnant, hopefully you will also try to stay positive and trust the process that the Oasis rendered. They may not be perfect, but they do their best to give good services.

The things that you need to expect:
-You can wait up to 2 hours from your scheduled appointment.

-They will send a message that they faxed the prescription to the pharmacy, but it was not received after going to the pharmacy to pick up the medication. You should call the pharmacy first so that you will not waste your time.

– Referral to a primary GP would take 1 week to process. Upon appointment, they will tell you that they will send the referral to the GP. I told them that I have an appointment booked 2 days after the appointment with them and said great. After going to the GP, my GP has not received any referral from them. It took a week for them to process the referral. The annoying part is, they will call you about information about your GP, which has been sent 11 months ago in the portal.

They should improve their clerical work.

We had a mixed experience here. We were lucky that we got a consultation almost right away, and that initial appointment went really well. The doctor and nurses were lovely and we left feeling really hopeful. After a bunch of initial testing they weren’t able to give us much more information and we requested further tests.
My partner received the results for one of these tests through Alberta Health but I didn’t see my own results so messaged the clinic to try and get them. They told me that the test I was inquiring about hadn’t been requisitioned for me…after I had already taken it? When I tried to argue that I had the requisition and had taken the test, they doubled down and said they talked to my nurse and no such requisition existed. Luckily, I had just missed the results in my Alberta health and was able to track them down and send them to the clinic. They then came back and said «oh yes we see it in your file now». So not only did we receive zero follow up on test results, they argued that the testing that THEY ordered was ever done.
In the end I got pregnant naturally and didn’t need to proceed any further with them but had we needed treatment I likely would have pursued out of province options.

Honestly the BEST TEAM I could ask for especially in the most vulnerable moment of my life. Dr. Paterson, the whole nursing Team, the pharmacy Team, ward Team, Front Desk were absolutely incredible. They were all very compassionate and answers all the million questions I have! Also love how convenient the app is. I’ve literally never had a bad experience here and thankful for everyone that made this very challenging journey as smooth as possible ♥️

As a new person undergoing treatments I would expect more empathy and kindness. Front staff and phone service is incredible, and nurses are amazing.

Pharmacy however is rude, short and unhelpful. I am disappointed and saddened by the way I was spoken to and made to feel like a nuisance since this is my first time with such medications and my nerves and anxiety needed someone to help me navigate this.
I will avoid getting my medication fulfilled there as much as possible.

I just completed my egg retrieval for IVF, and so far after working with RFP for 8 months, I’ve only had positive experiences. Yes, the wait times are long. Yes, you sometimes do feel like a number. Yes, you’re always seeing different doctors and nurses. But they know their stuff and I felt very secure throughout my treatment. And considering how big their patient base is and servicing so many individuals in Alberta and beyond, they have always given me the time, empathy, warmth and care that makes me feel heard and taken care of. Pharmacy, nursing teams, and doctors have all given me time when I’ve asked for it and have provided thorough answers to all my questions – silly or otherwise. While the waiting and quick appointments can seem frustrating, they are simply aiming to provide their services to as many individuals in need as possible and I think they do a fantastic job balancing attentive care and helping as many people as they do.

Dr. Foong moved mountains for us that permanently altered our life for the best – forever. Her and most of the staff gets and deserves the 5 stars for being friendly, accommodating, and incredible people. They were patient with us, gentle over the fragile subject matter, had a sense of urgency with our situation (which very much required it given our medical emergency situation), and also honest with us. Really appreciated it.

Dr. Wong gets an F, however. He was our first point of contact that rushed us through a phone call meeting. He also did not respect a booking that was set for a time, and seemed to be under the impression that we were available all day, telling us that the booking is just a reminder to call at any point during the day. What? We got things to do on a Wednesday.

When we did finally talk he sped through our situation and didn’t ask if we had questions or anything. Found out later he was trying to rush out for a flight to Vancouver. Annoying, but whatever. It meant that we got handed over to the incredible Dr. Foong, so perhaps it was good it happened that way.

Thank you Dr. Foong! We’ll never forget you!

I just had my negative test results for iui. I’m very heart broken. I had letrozol taken given by pharmacist as the nurse in the clinic on third day of my period before doing the iui treatment. And the nurse called me after 4th why I took it? But I don’t even have letter sent to the pharmacy for the right medication. When I was inside the clinic they do iui. I think the person doing the iui is not even nurse. She doesn’t know how to get through the cervix of the sperm. She called the nurse after like 15minutes trying. Was very disappointed. I cannot believe. I didn’t feel anything after the treatment. Like nothing so I think I already know I will have negative results for pregnancy test after 2 weeks of iui. I paid the sperm so expensive and the treatment iui is expensive too. If I get positive results of pregnancy test then I would definitely change this review For now I’m super heartbroken for 2nd time IUI. They would ask you also to do IVF instead of iui.the 2nd time feels like it wasn’t inserted in uterus but just outside uterus. . Is there anybody on this clinic get pregnant atleast 1 in every 100 people that goes here? Just wondering…

We’ve had a very positive experience at Regional Fertility Program overall. From the very beginning, we were assigned Dr. Gotz, who has been fantastic. He’s extremely knowledgeable and straightforward, which made us feel confident and well-informed throughout the process. We also had the privilege of working with the pharmacy staff, nurses, and embryologists, all of whom were exceptional. Everyone treated us with genuine respect and kindness, which really made a difference during such a sensitive time.

One aspect that stood out to me was the Prelude app. I absolutely loved it—it made communication so much easier compared to relying on the phone. We were able to get updates and messages quickly, and it felt much more organized and efficient than the traditional phone system. It’s a feature I really appreciated and found very helpful.

However, the clinic isn’t without its challenges. The biggest downside for us has been the reception staff and the phone appointment system. The system is frankly a bit of a nightmare—it’s hard to get through, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth required to schedule things. On top of that, the receptionists can sometimes be quite rude, which was honestly frustrating. Even when interacting with them in person, the customer service skills were lacking, which felt out of place given how professional and caring everyone else at the clinic was. It was the one area where the clinic could definitely improve.

Catalog of services offered by fertility clinics in Calgary

    Ovulation Induction and Monitoring

Many individuals struggling with infertility experience irregular or absent ovulation. Fertility clinics in Calgary offer ovulation induction and monitoring, which involves using medication to stimulate ovulation while carefully tracking hormone levels and follicle development to optimize timing.

    Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a relatively simple procedure that involves placing prepared sperm directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation. Fertility clinics in Calgary utilize this technique for couples with mild male factor infertility or unexplained infertility.

    In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a more advanced assisted reproductive technology that involves retrieving eggs from the ovaries, fertilizing them with sperm in a laboratory, and then transferring the resulting embryos into the uterus. It's often considered for individuals with more complex infertility issues.

    Egg Freezing (Oocyte Cryopreservation)

For women who wish to delay childbearing due to personal or medical reasons, egg freezing (oocyte cryopreservation) offers a way to preserve their fertility. This involves retrieving and freezing eggs for potential future use.

    Sperm Analysis and Preparation

Male factor infertility is a significant contributor to overall infertility. Fertility clinics in Calgary routinely offer sperm analysis and preparation, including assessments of sperm count, motility, and morphology, along with techniques to improve sperm quality for assisted reproduction.

    Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT)

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), previously known as PGD, is an advanced diagnostic procedure that involves analyzing embryos created through IVF for genetic abnormalities before transfer. This can help identify embryos with a lower risk of transmitting inherited conditions.

    Donor Eggs and Sperm Programs

When individuals are unable to use their own eggs or sperm, fertility clinics in Calgary facilitate donor eggs and sperm programs. This involves matching recipients with carefully screened and qualified donors to increase the chances of conception.

    Gestational Carrier (Surrogacy) Services

For individuals or couples unable to carry a pregnancy, fertility clinics in Calgary often assist with gestational carrier (surrogacy) services. This process involves a woman carrying a pregnancy for intended parents using IVF with either donor or intended parent's egg.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fertility Clinics in Calgary

What types of fertility treatments do clinics in Calgary offer?

Fertility clinics in Calgary typically offer a range of treatments, beginning with diagnostic testing to identify the underlying causes of infertility. These treatments can include ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and egg/sperm donation. Some clinics also specialize in fertility preservation, such as egg freezing.

How do I choose the right fertility clinic in Calgary?

Selecting a fertility clinic is a significant decision. Consider factors such as the clinic's success rates (though these can vary based on patient profiles), the experience and qualifications of the medical staff, the clinic's technology and facilities, and the cost of treatment. Reviews and recommendations from other patients can also provide valuable insights.

What is the cost of fertility treatment in Calgary?

The cost of fertility treatment can vary greatly depending on the specific procedures involved. Diagnostic testing can range from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand. IUI typically costs between $1,000 and $3,000 per cycle, while IVF can cost anywhere from $8,000 to $15,000 or more, excluding medication costs. Medication costs can add significantly to the overall expense.

What are the success rates for different fertility treatments?

Success rates for fertility treatments differ considerably based on the treatment method and the patient's age and medical history. IUI generally has a lower success rate (around 10-20% per cycle), while IVF success rates can range from 30-50% per cycle, depending on the clinic and patient factors. Clinics are often required to publish their success rate data.

What is involved in the initial consultation?

During the initial consultation, the clinic will typically gather a detailed medical history for both partners. This includes information about previous pregnancies, menstrual cycles, and any existing medical conditions. Diagnostic testing, such as blood work and a semen analysis, is often performed to identify potential causes of infertility.

    What factors influence success rates?

Several factors can influence the success rates of fertility treatments. These include the age of the female partner (as egg quality declines with age), male factor infertility (such as low sperm count or motility), ovarian reserve (the number and quality of eggs remaining), and the presence of any underlying medical conditions.

Are there any financing options available?

Many fertility clinics in Calgary offer a range of financing options to help patients manage the costs of treatment. These can include payment plans, third-party financing, and grants or scholarships. It's important to inquire about these options during the initial consultation to understand the available resources.

What is involved in the IVF process?

The IVF process typically involves several stages: ovarian stimulation to produce multiple eggs, egg retrieval, fertilization of eggs with sperm in a lab, embryo development, and embryo transfer into the uterus. This process can take several weeks and requires close monitoring by the medical team.

What questions should I ask a fertility clinic?

It’s crucial to ask thorough questions during your initial consultations. Consider inquiring about the clinic's success rates for patients with similar profiles, the experience and qualifications of the staff, the clinic's approach to patient care, and the policies regarding refunds or cancellations. Being well-informed empowers you to make informed decisions.

What are the potential risks and side effects of fertility treatments?

Fertility treatments can carry potential risks and side effects. Ovarian stimulation can lead to ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), which can cause abdominal pain and swelling. IVF carries risks associated with egg retrieval, such as bleeding and infection. It’s important to discuss these potential risks with your doctor to understand the potential benefits and drawbacks of each treatment option.
