I loved my experience at globe cinema. Intimate, vintage and cozy. I went to see no other land and this was the perfect venue for it. The theater gets darker than traditional theaters. Concession serves popcorn and the typical treats along with a small selection of local beers and other adult beverages. Parking is free after six on the street!

Globe Cinema in Calgary is a charming throwback. Stepping inside feels like a delightful time warp to a classic movie-going experience. While it's certainly showing its age, that's precisely where its appeal lies. It's a fun and unique way to see a film.
We were fortunate enough to catch "Stories We Have Earned," a truly compelling film that I'd highly recommend seeking out. The cinema itself enhances the experience, adding a touch of nostalgia. And a definite highlight? The popcorn. They understand the importance of evenly distributed butter, and they deliver! If you're looking for something different from the typical multiplex, Globe Cinema is a worthwhile visit.

My first time watching a movie at that cinema. We loved it a lot! We watched ‘body double’. The cinema has a great atmosphere, sound was great as well. Highly recommend! ❤️

I love this theatre. Very hip. Lots of festivals and throwback screenings along with new movies with quality that demands a big screen but maybe appeal too beyond the mainstream to hold ground at the multiplexi. A night out at the Globe always makes me feel cooler and more cultured.

Always a pleasure to come to Globe Cinema. If you’re debating buying tickets, do it! Supporting independent theatres is cool ❤️
I’ve watched some of my favourites here, and always check the website! Might be something playing that you like! They regularly seem to have older classics playing.
