Mission Eye Care is the best place for all your optical needs. They have a friendly staff, the latest technology, a wide selection of products, clean clinic and Dr. Lasby is AMAZING!! She is very knowledgeable and thorough, but also approachable and attentive. This gives me confidence in her treatment plans. She works well with my ophthalmologist, keeping him informed of any few findings. I appreciate her adjusting my new contacts prescriptions to ensure that my vision is at its best and that I'm satisfied. I would highly recommend Dr. Lasby to all my family, friends and anyone looking for a top notch optometrist.

Such a great practice and I feel like Dr. Lasby partners with me when it comes to managing my overall health. Also should you decide to purchase frames they have a great choice of brands, even for people like me who like to wear fun and colourful ones.

I had an emergency eye appointment and was fortunate to be treated by resident O.D. Wincy Chung. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate throughout the entire visit. Dr. Chung took the time to explain everything clearly and addressed all of my worries and concerns with great care. Her professionalism and warm approach made me feel reassured and well taken care of. I truly appreciate her support and expertise—thank you for going above and beyond!

I didn’t have any expectations when I first visited, but this place truly surprised me. The staff are incredibly friendly, and I always leave feeling a little happier after my visit. Dr. Lasby took the time to explain everything about my eye health clearly and in detail, which I really appreciated. She was especially helpful in addressing the dryness in my eyes, something that had been bothering me for a while. Thanks to her care and the amazing staff, I actually look forward to my appointments now. This place is a hidden gem with an amazing team!

** I’d like to add no one reached out to me. Please be honest about that. There was zero effort to email or call me** The optometrists are great. The clinic staff specifically, Harry, might have the worst customer service skills I have ever dealt with. Extremely long waits conversing on emails (like days to respond). Harry ordered me two frames that looked nothing in person like they did online. I showed him another frame I was interested in but I wasn’t sure of the colour and he refused to order them in and tried to push me to a whole bunch of frames that I had no interest in. Ordering in frames should be no problem when a customer has been at your clinic longer term. As well, I was willing to pay a deposit and still he wouldn’t order them in for me to decide on. Extremely unprofessional. I believe with people like Harry in the clinic everyone should consider finding a new optometrist because he needs to learn proper ways to deal with people.

I was having trouble getting contacts fitted due to a scar on one of my eyes and I REALLY wanted to wear contacts for my upcoming wedding/honeymoon. Dr. Morrison and the staff went above-and-beyond trying all sorts of combinations: RGPs, soft lenses, piggybacking lenses. They would not quit until I was happy! Truly outstanding service.
