Highly recommend. Dr Greg is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. He gives the right time and attention to his patients and explains everything in detail and provides the best advice. He performed a thorough assessment of my and my husband’s eyes and calmed us down when we were nervous about a couple things.
Only complaint is with the receptionists. They weren’t very helpful, they were just trying to sell stuff and when they had to do tests on the machines they did not provide appropriate guidance and just rushed everything, once the tests were done they asked us to wait outside without telling us the next steps.

** I’d like to add no one reached out to me. Please be honest about that. There was zero effort to email or call me** The optometrists are great. The clinic staff specifically, Harry, might have the worst customer service skills I have ever dealt with. Extremely long waits conversing on emails (like days to respond). Harry ordered me two frames that looked nothing in person like they did online. I showed him another frame I was interested in but I wasn’t sure of the colour and he refused to order them in and tried to push me to a whole bunch of frames that I had no interest in. Ordering in frames should be no problem when a customer has been at your clinic longer term. As well, I was willing to pay a deposit and still he wouldn’t order them in for me to decide on. Extremely unprofessional. I believe with people like Harry in the clinic everyone should consider finding a new optometrist because he needs to learn proper ways to deal with people.

I had an amazing appointment. I hadn’t been in for an eye exam in a while and I felt like this was the first time it was very thorough and did not felt rushed. Dr. Ah-Seng was great and very friendly. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. Josee was amazing too, she helped my husband and I with our glasses and we never felt pressured to spend over our insurance coverage. Superb service and people skills!!! The staff at this clinic went above and beyond for me, as a first-time patient. My visit started with pleasant, upbeat ladies at reception, then progressed to Sidney’s clear and concise eye testing. We had the worst experience with the doctor Bernadette Osiowy my daughter had her new patient exam and the assistant asked questions prior going to the exam room and that’s ok as i know thats what they do, when we entered the room with the doctor of course she asked questions too and i answered she asked me again when is the last exam and i said last 6 months ago and i asked nicely, do the other clinic send these information and she yelled and said WHY WOULD THEY SEND THOSE, WE ARE INDEPENDENT blah blah blah and i was shocked because i just asked i don’t know why she overreacted like that Im not sure if she’s having a bad day or maybe because I’m asian and she thinks she can just yell at me and disrespect me that way, i have worked with many doctors and dentist as i am a graduate of nursing and i work in dental right now but this is the first time and i think the only time i had experience a doctor acting that way and i just asked one question nicely, and my daughter is in the room shocked, and this doctor then asked so whats your plan are you going to keep me as her doctor and i told her honestly i just want this appointment over and done with and she then pouted and said but i corrected myself i bent over backwards (by what by doing your job by doing what you’re supposed to do?! you didn’t even say sorry,) and i don’t know how she thinks she corrected herself and saying she bent over backwards, its such a traumatic horrible, horrible experience specially for my daughter as after the appointment my daughter asked me why did she got so mad mom? You just asked one question, i just told her maybe she’s having a bad day but that doesn’t mean that if you are having a bad day you can treat others poorly.

What an amazing team! We were greeted, assessed and spoke to the optometrist. Then purchased lenses and was properly educated about my step daughters unique prescription. All in around an hour and a half. Super pleased with this place! Cant wait to come in when the frames arrive!

Andrea D. was amazing in helping me to find the perfect frame and explaining the lenses. She takes her time with the patients and does not make you feel rushed or pressured to buy. When I picked up my glasses she ensured the fit was correct and went above and beyond by checking in the next day to make sure I was happy with them.
Dr. Rob has always listened to concerns and made sure they were addressed and that you understand what his is saying. He remembers his patients and has a natural way to you make you feel at ease.

I recently started to go to Mountain View for my eye appointments and so far, my experience has been great! The staff are very professional and the clinic is clean and modern. Dr. Rob was friendly, knowledgeable, and very thorough. I also appreciate that some of the staff have gone on missions to provide optometric services to third world countries and have also served in optometrist associations, which shows that they’re passionate about their profession.
One thing to note is that the price point of my appointment was quite a bit higher than other places, so that may be something for others to keep in mind (whether or not you have vision coverage in your benefits).

My husband & I have been going to Calgary Family Eye Clinic for many years. The front desk staff & eye technicians are always attentive & very pleasant. All our questions were expertly answered when choosing from a good selection of frames & lenses. Dr Gerlitz was especially knowledgeable, kind, upbeat and very flexible to adjust my husband’s eye exam when he was diagnosed with visual challenges, due to Alzheimer’s.
Dr Stocks provided excellent information & recommendations when cataract surgery was being considered.
Parking is free and SW location is convenient.

Since it’s my daughter’s first time to have her eyes checked, the doctor willingly and clearly discussed about the results of her eye exam and gave her ways to prevent further damage to her eyes.
Ashlee was superb too! She gave unbiased opinion and suggestions while my daughter pick her frame.
