Been looking for the groomer who could do my dog’s fairly simple shave down to the neat and tidy standard I both want and need. My pup and I are a therapy dog team with PALS, so it’s important that he’s easy to clean between facility visits!

Muttley Crue not only met, but exceeded my expectations.

His ears were properly cleaned and plucked too! Poodle people know how important this is! The salon is cage-free, as long as your pup is social. Which means that Sirius got to hang out and play with other pups a bit between stages of the grooming. He came home both super clean/tidy, and tired. Well worth the $165 +tax and tip I paid!

We take our pup in for grooming and she always comes out looking glamorous! The team does an amazing job and she always has the best day while she’s there. Thank you so much for making our pupper look so good!

Tiffany did an amazing job with our grooming our dog. She has never looked so great! She made her feel very comfortable and pampered and the groom was very well done. Will be back for sure!

Being new dog owners to a sweet rescue dog we received a recommendation to bring our little guy to Muttley Crue. It felt scary for us, but once we left him we knew he was in great hands. From a warm welcome once we walked in to a very tidy facility, seeing all the cute pups getting groomed made us feel so much better! They did an amazing job cleaning up Ash! They staff here are fantastic. It was our first time here and I felt very comfortable leaving Tucker with them for his grooming. When he got home he fell asleep, just from that I knew he had fun.

We have been bringing our dogs here for about four years now and they have been amazing the whole time. The staff know our dogs, their personalities, and their haircuts. I recently started following them on Instagram and now I see the photos they take when my pups are at daycare and they message me the individual photo of my dogs through instagram!

Our vet recently indicated that one of our dogs needs her teeth professionally cleaned and to prevent or delay more expensive vet cleanings, we should brush her teeth more often. I have decided to ask Marda Loop Doggie Daycare and Spa to brush both our dogs’ teeth when I drop them off for daycare. I would highly recommend taking your dogs here for daycare and grooming. They take good care of our dogs and make our lives easier.

My wife and I have been sending our dog here since we adopted her almost 3 years ago and it is great! The staff are all super friendly, the facility is nice and has plenty of room to play, they have a camera so we can check on our dog during the day, they do cute photo shoots with the dogs for holidays, and whenever we check the camera the staff are playing with the dogs and treating them really well. Our dog gets super excited when she walks in and always comes home tired from playing all day so it’s great for burning off that puppy energy. We’ve also had her groomed here and they do a great job. Highly recommend!

Mardaloop Doggie Daycare takes great care of my dog on the days I work! He’s always so excited to join the other dogs. I also love that I’m able to watch him playing on the webcam. It’s a great place for my dog to socialize in a safe environment with constant supervision.

I have been taking my puppy to Marda Loop Doggy Daycare since he was 4 months old. The staff treat him with so much love and attention and my puppy loves going to daycare. He runs to the door and knows just how well he will be treated. It’s a clean facility and the staff are very friendly. We love Marda Loop Doggie Daycare! We take our two pomeranians here for grooming and everyone is always super friendly, professional and our pups always come home looking picture perfect!

As a walker, the system is very easy to navigate, and I have been paid on time. Support it’s incredible, super fast, they won’t even take 5 minutes to answer, you can reach them anytime and they will get back to you within minutes. I would suggest «bad/challenging behaviour dogs» would be charged more, once I got blisters because the dog won’t start pulling (a big and very aggressive one) so my very hard earned 13 dollars felt very little. The only downside … I wish there were more dogs to walk!

Spot walkers app is the best!! It’s user friendly for both the walker and the person booking the walks for their pets. As a walker, you can set your radis for how far you are willing to drive to walk the pups. It gives you ample time to show up for the walks and during the walk, the app lets you take videos/pictures, if they’ve gone to the bathroom, and also includes a timer for how long you’ve been walking. You can also leave a little review of how your walk went for the owner to read afterwords. Everything is done through the spot app including payments and sometimes, you will get bonuses if you are available on short notice. Definitely recommend the Spot app!!!

Spot Dog Walking has been a great way to fill my spare time. The app is easy to use, support is available when needed, and I can schedule walks around my primary job. Very enjoyable experience, and a wonderful way to interact with a wide variety of dogs.

The Spot app is great and easy to use. They respond within minutes if not seconds when you have a question and are all super friendly. The pay is a bit on the low side and I don’t thin tipping is really a thing but overall if you want some exercise with a wonderful companion and earn a few dollars it’s worth a try.

I can’t recommend Nella highly enough! From the very beginning, she impressed me with how thorough and thoughtful she is—she did a detailed meet and greet, asked lots of questions, and really took the time to get to know Jasper and Fernie. She’s incredibly flexible and always goes out of her way to help, no matter what my schedule looks like. Most importantly, she treats Jasper and Fernie like they’re her own dogs—with so much love, attention, and care.

My dog absolutely loves Nella! We’ve had such a great experience with her being Henry’s walker over the last year. Nella is reliable, kind, and clearly loves what she does. We often run into her in the mornings and Henry goes crazy with excitement when he sees her. That says it all.

They have an app which makes booking really easy, check in + out times are logged and lots of photos are always sent. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Pisces Exotica Pets Emporium, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, offering helpful advice on setting up my first aquarium. The store has a wide selection of fish, plants, and aquarium accessories, all of which are top quality. The tanks are well-maintained, and the fish look healthy and happy, which shows that the shop truly cares about its animals.

I also appreciated the clean, organized layout, making it easy to find everything I needed. The prices were very reasonable, and they even offer helpful maintenance tips for beginners like me. I’ll definitely be returning for all my future aquarium needs! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to start or maintain their aquarium!

It was packed when I went here but we got a number and received great customer service. We found the fish we wanted, got some advice on food and cleaning, and looked around at all the neat animals they have. Overall, great experience. I definitely recommend this place.

As the owner of an anxious dog who requires specific care, I am so lucky to have found The Petropolitan! Being turned away from many other facilities in the city due to my dog’s exceptional needs was disheartening. But, The Petropolitan has worked with me to create a specialized care plan for my dog during his daycare and boarding stays. The Petropolitan is highly communicative and truly has given me the peace of mind to leave my dog in a space where I know he is being loved and cared for. Thank you staff, you truly are a blessing!!

Update: After my review, the owner, Hailey, reached out to apologize, acknowledged the issues, and gave me a full refund. She also sent me Teddy’s internal care records, which showed he was fed and checked on. This level of care is the bare minimum and should’ve been included in the report cards, as it is for other guests — so I’ve updated my rating from 1 to 2 stars.

While I’m still disappointed and don’t plan to return, I do believe my feedback was taken seriously, and I hope it leads to better experiences for others.

I booked the luxury suite and TLC package for my dog, who has IVDD and specific care needs. During the tour and check-in, I requested that stairs be placed in the suite so he could safely access the bed. I was assured that this would be accommodated. However, at checkout, no one could confirm whether stairs were ever provided.

Communication prior to booking was plentiful and friendly. I was told by multiple staff members that I could request updates at any time via email or phone. However, after check-in, the tone shifted significantly. Our dogs were dropped off at 7 AM, and the first update didn’t come until 5:55 PM — nearly 11 hours later. The report card I received was nearly identical (copied and pasted) across all three dogs in our group (my dog and my sister’s two dogs). It read like AI-generated filler, with no specific detail about my dog’s feeding, bathroom use, sleep, behaviour, or about the activities throughout the day. It felt impersonal and completely disconnected from the actual experience.

The photos provided were also underwhelming — three per day, all from the same playgroup session and clearly taken within minutes of each other. There were no images showing rest time, meals, walks, suite time, or other activities from throughout the day. I was never expecting real-time photos, but I did anticipate that a report card would reflect the full day’s care, and that the photo set would give a sense of the experience, especially with the TLC package.

I emailed once the next morning (day two) to ask how my dog had slept, to ask for pictures throughout the day and to inquire about the stairs — as I hadn’t seen confirmation they were provided. In response, I received a message from the owner explaining that the facility’s version of «interval» updates is a once-a-day evening report card and a single time photo upload. She further suggested that perhaps I was looking for personalized, one-on-one care. This was surprising, as I had already paid for the TLC package, which I believed included more thoughtful updates and care. I wasn’t asking for more frequent updates or live photos — just a report that actually reflected my dog’s day.

It’s also important to note that although my sister and I had separate bookings, our communication was treated as one. This caused a major misunderstanding. On day 1, I had called once and emailed once on behalf of my dog, and my sister had also sent a message regarding hers. This was perceived by the owner as «excessive communication,» and I was told that contacting them was taking away from care being given to the animals. That was incredibly disheartening to hear as a pet parent.

I was also charged for both the TLC package and personal care, despite being told prior that personal care was part of the TLC package. Additionally, day 2’s report card mentioned my dog was in a stroller, but no context was provided — and when I asked at checkout, no one could confirm why or when it was used. Given his medical history, these details mattered deeply to me.

When I picked up my dog, he was very thirsty, appeared sore, and was withdrawn. Overall, I found the report cards and photo updates to be lacking in substance, and I was genuinely heartbroken and disappointed in the experience.

I was really in a pinch for an overnight stay for my two small dogs, and it was the first time for me ever leaving them with someone who wasn’t friends or family. I was nervous, but also saw and heard great things about Petropolitan, so I tried the hotel for a one-night stay and was not disappointed. The communication was great (and charming!) and my pups were happy and calm. Would definitely recommend!!

My Cavapoo loves it here and the staff is so nice! I love the report cards you get at the end of the day and they’re so great at communicating your pet’s experience. Mango loves coming here

Our puppy has been attending daycare and loving it! The staff are friendly and always greet her by name. They remember all the details about her experience and send us updates with pictures. Also, while an outside solo groomer struggled with her, Pet’s in house grooming staff teamed up to make it happen. We know it’s really hard work and couldn’t be happier with the quality of this facility.

BEWARE! I’ve been a loyal client for almost 15 years, but no more. Ever since the owner Janette left it has gone downhill. The only decent groomer that works there is Sarah but she’s a 2 month wait to get an appt.

They take half a day now to service your dog, and when you pick them up the haircut looks nothing like what you asked for. Also, if you have a lap dog don’t wear shorts to pick up because when they trim your dog’s nails, they become razor blades and will tear up your legs and your furniture. Just awful service all around. I’m waiting for my refund.

For reference – First photo is what I asked for, second and third are the uneven, un-shapely small headed teddy bear-esq creature that I picked up. Last photo is what he looked like before they chopped him up for $100.

Our Lacey has been expertly and compassionately groomed by Sarah for over 9 years. Lacey always comes home silky soft and smelling fresh, eager to show off her refreshed self. So grateful to the Royal Touch team for pampering my dog and taking such good care of her. I’ve shared photos of her two most recent grooms.

I brought my 2 dogs in for a grooming and the service provided was AMAZING! Sarah the owner took amazing care of my two babies, all the staff were super accommodating and kind! My one dog is a senior and extra time was given to ensure her safety and comfort. You can tell that these women take pride in their work as my babies left beautiful and happy! Sarah and the team at A Royal Touch Pooch Parlour take the time to provide the best care for our baby boy Crumbs when we drop him off for hand stripping. He is never scared and is always so comfortable in her hands. I feel so lucky to have found them!

Over the years I would estimate I have used the grooming services of A Royal Touch more than 60 times. Each time I have been completely, 100% satisfied with the service I receive. Sarah has been beyond amazing and I was especially impressed with the care and extra TLC she gave to my very senior cockapoo, ensuring he was comfortable during his grooming sessions. I have five dogs, and I take them all to the bathroom. The best place and the best care I’ve ever received for my dogs. I highly recommend this place. They always do an amazing job with my dogs, and the staff is amazing.

Sarah gave our rescue Cavalier a bath under her very capable hands.

Bruce is a very anxious boy. Having been kept in his cage most of his life, he doesn’t know anything outside of it. Sarah took her time with him, bathed him, shaved off any matting, and returned him to us as a brand new, handsome boy. When we came to pick him up, he was energetic and pacing around like he owned the place – something he hasn’t even done at our house yet. This suggests that she made him feel super comfortable.

We’re so pleased to have Sarah as our groomer for Bruce, as he is a very stinky boy, and she made him smell a lot better!

My family was away for a week and I looked after my Granddogs. Linus is a young Golden Doodle. He is too large for me to handle on walks but Natalie helped me out. Linus loved Natalie and looked forward to seeing her daily. Natalie loves animals is super friendly punctual and knows how to handle animals….I highly recommend!!

Natalie offers a great service for our Havanese Dog Bella. She is very professional and our Pooch just love her. Bella did Obedience training with her and We are impressed with the results. She does amazing work for our Puppy and she always goes above and beyond. We also avail of Regular Dog Walk service which keeps our beloved stay active and Healthy. She incorporates enrichment activities which keeps our Little one stay sharp mentally. Natalie is easy to communicate, reliable, and ensures that our Little pooch stays active, healthy, and safe.

Natalie absolutely fantastic as a Pet Sitter! Her communication was on point and she absolutely gushed over the dogs. Since we have four of them, it can be overwhelming for most people, but Natalie handled it awesomely! The dogs were very calm and relaxed when I came home and I was receiving photos of them out on their adventures at the park and walks which helps me feel more safe and secure with me being away. I would highly recommend her services to anybody looking for someone to love their pets as their own while you’re away!

4 simple words…NATALIE IS A PRO!! my little Louie tends to be a rather anxious little potato, but Natalie managed to win his heart and within minutes off he went on his little adventures. We booked Natalie to walk him while we were away (to enhance his «teenager» walks usually distracted by a phone and the lack of desire to go beyond the block) and boy was it the right decision. Natalie sent us little report cards and pictures/videos to keep us up to speed on how he was doing. She was amazing and I rate her 110/100. Thank you Natalie from the bottom of our hearts❤️

We adopted our wonderful new ball python, Lucy/Mango, from CHS earlier this month and the process was amazing. The staff were all so friendly and made the adoption process such an enjoyable, smooth experience. It is obvious how much the shelter staff and volunteers love the animals in their care, and the expertise and care that the staff have when going through the adoption process and finding the perfect home for the animals is unmatched.

The facility itself is very welcoming and clean, the animals are all clearly well cared for, and again the faculty and volunteers are just lovely.

I want to start off first, by saying how loving, compassionate, caring this organization is and I have nothing absolutely nothing bad to say about what they stand for and what they do as an organization we need organizations like this many more that are willing to love and help animals

Very unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for me, for I had in the early morning arrived to my shop to do my regular, day-to-day life, as I got there, I noticed a bird sitting on my dumpster bin lid,shaking and soaking wet, I dropped every single thing I was doing to ensure that this bird made it. The emotion and the bond that I created rescuing this animal, while it fell sleep, shaking on my shoulders, happy that it was in a warm, safe environment, immediately I wanted to make sure that this bird was reunited with its loved ones and family. That was my only priority, so I delivered it to this organization and upon filling out the paperwork I very clearly, and specifically asked to be put at the top of the list for adoption, I bonded with a bird that I rescued it only seems fair, right? well unfortunately the individual that was working that day decided not to put that in the file, so when I left, I went about my night thinking there’s gonna be two options. I have either rescued a bird and was able to reunite it with his family or I was going to become that rescue Bird’s new family, and to take care of it, and to love it as if it was my own. And I really hate to say it, but this organization stripped me of that feeling and stripped me of any emotion that I had toward that bird.

two weeks went by with anticipation and hoping it was reunited so when I called them and left them a voicemail. They got back to me and told me that the bird was going to a foster family, and that the foster family was going to receive first choice of whether or not they wanted to adopt the bird, I questioned the individual on the phone and explain to her that I had asked to be put on the adoption list, they detailed that there was no record of me requesting that on file even though I have two other eyewitnesses there.

A day later they had called me back and told me that they had adopted out the bird to another person, you can understand my confusion when I was under the impression that I had rescued this bird that had saved this bird, and I had bonded with this bird that I had deserve the right to welcome that bird to my family . Because this organization had a wildly massive mess up and did not record my specific requests to be the adopted father, you took away what most people look at in that in the organization as a dream that would never come true, to rescue an animal to be able to call it your family. They took that from me and what I’m feeling is biblical I have no other choice but to express and communicate exactly how I feel.

I expressed my concern and confusion over a voicemail as to which, then the manager called me the next day, and was extremely apologetic and attentive, which to say they never weren’t. They were always great to talk with and great individuals to work with. I have to reiterate that I am not Insulting the integrity of what they do or how they do it this was just one really really unfortunate mess up on their end that needs to be made aware of

We LOVE our beautiful Cat, Daisy, we adopted from here! The Humane Society is amazing and filled with wonderful animals and humans, both. Thank you for your wonderful love for animals and the care you provide them. Our adoption counselor was great and very informative and made the whole process easy.

I recently adopted a 3-month-old kitten named Scruffy from this wonderful shelter. He’s super affectionate, playful, and has completely won over our whole family!
If you’re thinking about adopting a kitten, I highly recommend visiting the shelter often—when you find the right one, don’t hesitate to bring them home! Scruffy had just been neutered when I first saw him (his name wasn’t even on the website yet!), and I took him home the very next day.
The staff at the shelter were so kind, patient, and caring. The facility was clean and well-run, and they helped me find the perfect match. I hope you can find your ideal furry friend there too!

We saw Zena a five your old Sheppard cross on tv on Monday and immediately went to see her at the shelter. She was an amazing dog. Very loving and cuddly, played fetch like a champ. We had gotten another dog from the shelter, Murphy, just a little over two years ago and he is now a family member. Amazing dog and Zena would be a good buddy for him. Unfortunately we have to leave in a couple of weeks for Europe for two weeks, so the timing isn’t quite right for us. But if she is still there when we return, I can’t promise that she won’t be coming home with us. I really hope this sweet girl finds a forever home. She is primarily an outdoor dog, used to out door acerage life. She is just amazing, and any family that adopts her will be amazed at what a wonderful girl she is. Attached are pictures of Murphy the fella we took home two years ago. He just needs a buddy to share his experiences with. And Zena may just be the perfect fit for him.

I have adopted my beautiful cat «Hattie» from this wonderful shelter (Calgary Humane Society) 2 weeks ago. They have the most professional and friendliest staff and volunteers, and overall the place is great& so welcoming! The receptionists are the loveliest too and extremely helpful. As well many great thanks to Sawyer for making the adoption process so smooth, quick, clear and was so supportive till it was the time to take my cat home. This is the best experience I have ever had, and I warmly recommend this place to everyone who is considering adopting a pet. One of the greatest things in this place is that you can meet and greet all the pets and spend time with them anytime during the week even on weekends before choosing to adopt, this makes it less stressful to the animals and to us before taking any home forever. I took my 6 year old Sheltie there today for his first professional groom. I was nervous since I had always done him myself but due to health reasons I couldn’t do it at this time. I am so impressed from the time of booking, through check in to pick up was a very pleasant reassuring experience. When I picked my pup up I was so impressed at the cut and feel of his coat. He loved it there and did not want to leave. To top it off it was very reasonably priced. Great job!

The best location for puppy grooming. We were being referred to them and trust me these people did the best job in town.They offered me a great puppy package and when i saw my puppy on arrival i was so happy. They did the best job. Teddy is happy after grooming

The staff is kind, caring and very understanding to each dogs needs. The groomers do a great job and pricing is reasonable. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog here! Easy to get to and always a parking spot available! They also sell all kinds of pet food and accessories. I highly recommend!!!

Our first time here and I am beyond impressed. I would say my girl Daisy got the best grooming she’s ever had in 11 years. Unbelievably fluffy. And I could tell when I picked her up that she had a positive experience while she was there. Won’t go anywhere else!

This is the best place I have ever taken my two dogs. The staff are so friendly and caring. They take good care of my elderly shepherd who can’t handle long grooms anymore. They are very fast and efficient. My pomeranian looks great awesome every time!
