Working with Dave gave us a clear understanding of timeline, materials, scheduling, options and everything else associated with the construction process. He took care of all permits and scheduled the inspections required by the city. He was clear in his communications, answered all questions and was respectful in managing everyone’s time including his subcontractors.
We know Dave primarily works on home/ commercial inspections but is also a very experienced home builder. Being strategic in our approach we thought it would be beneficial to have Dave finish our basement. He is highly competent and knowledgeable at constructing and we firmly believe it’s because of his multiple skill sets.
We’re fully aware that you don’t need to be a home inspector to be a home builder however we know these two skill sets very much complement each other and having a specialist do the work, it ensured us that the work was going to be done right the very first time.

Excellent experience. Dave was very thorough. Took time to identify both immediate and serious concerns as well as minor things or potential concerns and things to watch for in the future. Explained to us very well possible impacts and outcomes of the things he identified.
Dave really took his time and was meticulous. He did not skip over or rush any part of the process He arrived early and produced the report earlier than promised.
