Best place to go in the entire city, and they are OPEN ON SUNDAYS. I hit a pothole the day before and blew both my tire and bent my rim. I woke up on Sunday and I needed to find a shop that was open. Most shops around me were closed, except Good Tire. I called them and asked if they would have time to fix it. They told me to bring in the car and they would be able to help me out. I explained that I needed a new tire and a new rim. I was told they had both in stock and that they could get it done in 45 minutes. Sure enough, 45 minutes later, the car was ready. They threw on a new tire and chose to fix the rim instead of charging me for a new one. Even though I was willing to pay for a new rim, they chose to save me the money. I can’t recommend these guys enough! they were honest fast and charged a very fair price. They have absolutely gotten a customer for life and I will recommend their shop to everyone I know!

I recently had a flat and visited this tire shop. The technician found not one, but four leaks and significant belt damage. Instead of just selling me a new tire, he honestly advised me that driving on it would be unsafe and that he wouldn’t feel right charging me, due to the liability. He suggested a used tire as a budget-friendly option but was super chill about it, saying if the leak wasn’t too bad, I could even wait it out since my lease is almost up. Absolutely amazing place, 10/5 would reccomend. Highly professional and very educated. My rims basically fit my make, model, and year only, and are VERY hard to find. Good Tire spent a good 3 weeks trying to find something for me – they contacted suppliers, look for used, and cross-references with other rims to find something for me (sadly no luck, but absolutely not for lack of trying).
I bought tires from them. Their online quote is the full picture – tires, mount and balance, all of it – no hidden fees. What you see is what you get. You can request a time slot online, and the wait time is minimal, even during the busy season.
Good Tire has that local, hole-in-the-wall feel, in the best way possible. Will definitely be returning, and suggesting them to everyone and anyone.

Fantastic experience here. 10000% recommend bringing your business here. I found the wheels I’ve always wanted for my 2019 VW Jetta at Tire Surplus, but the ad on fb marketplace had them packaged with winter tires and I wanted all-seasons – I messaged them, and Sam was messaging me back and forth for at least 20-30 minutes at like 1030pm (what other businesses would ever take the time to do this so late at night??). Yes, the price is unbeatable and the service is quick. The front desk person seemed genuine. I was told to show up at 8 a.m. even though they were fully booked, but they said they could try. I ended up just getting booked and going back home, then waited a few hours for a call before coming back for the service.
The technicians were very rude. They didn’t look at me or acknowledge me when I was trying to give them some instructions. After I was told by the front desk to pick up the car, I went to get it, but the technicians refused to give me the key and sent me back to pay first with a rude behaviour and gesture.
After I paid and picked up the car, I got home and realized two of my tires were installed inside out. I guess I need to show up a third time just to get the job done properly.

Went to ZEE Tire on Saturday around 11 a.m. to swap a set of tires on a term «first come -first serve». Was accepted in 10-15 minutes. They also managed take my SUV for four-wheel alignment as well. Waited just 1.5 HRS in total for both: wheel alignment & tires swap. The guys done a great job. Fantastic: no games with appointments, great price ($85 for four R18 tires swap & balanced).
Note: the earlier you come is better. The place is crazy busy.

Have now changed review from one star up to three, because they have now rectified the issue and replaced the rack, following the original posting of this review.
I have also been assured that the people who did the original work (in the photos) no longer work at this shop.
As for the comment about only receiving an email from me in Jan of 2022- that was after many, many phone calls and in-person trips to the shop between when the rack was first installed, and that point in time.
It wasn't until another shop took some photos in late Dec. 2021, and then Hyundai themselves took some photos in early Jan. 2022 (and then I not only brought those photos to the shop in person, but then also sent them via email after that in person visit) that I was taken seriously enough that even just the steering shaft would be replaced. Until the point that I provided photos from the SECOND place, every single person I spoke with said they could never see anything wrong.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while.
I wanted to be able to give a good one, because when I started dealing with this shop everything seemed so promising at first, but then it all went to hell.
I had them replace the rack and pinion on my car. When I got it back from them, there was clunking happening when I would turn my steering wheel. I brought it back to them several times to check it, and every time they told me they couldn't find anything wrong and that it was totally fine. I finally got fed up and took it to TWO other shops to check it over, and they BOTH found damage to the steering coupler from an air chisel.
When confronted with the photos from both shops, they still tried at first to act like there was nothing wrong. I had to be VERY persistent.
But even once they sort of admitted the damage present, and even when I gave explicit instructions on how to reproduce the problem, they never followed the instructions and kept claiming they could never find anything wrong. The only thing they would do was replace the steering shaft...but that shaft was not the problem. Internal damage had been done to the rack from being handled so roughly.
Even when I finally brought my brother in with me, who got them to extend their warranty on it, honestly I gave up trying to work with them because I only kept getting massively gaslit.

I originally had an appointment with Kal-Tire to have my winters put on, and my boyfriend suggested Poor Boy instead as the price was cheaper.. biggest mistake I’ve made yet! My vehicle began making a noise after a couple weeks and it began increasing until one night it made a big snappy noise and began grinding. I hired a mobile mechanic who quickly diagnosed my vehicle where one wheel had only 1 lug nut left on, and two studs had snapped right off. I was told it was a miracle nothing had happened and that I didn’t try driving it once more. I was told by the mechanic that whoever put my tires on really messed up, and was quoted a couple hundred dollars to fix the problem. I reached out to Poor Boy to see if they’d offer to fix it or reimburse my money, and they said because I didn’t come in to have my wheels retorqued that they take no responsibility, despite another mechanic telling me theres no reason this should have occurred. This was a hefty bill for a mom of 4 to incur during December, but I’m more angry at the fact of knowing I had my one year old in the vehicle and was one pothole away from potential catastrophe. Looking at their online reviews how, I’m seeing a similar issue from only a few weeks ago. That’s even more angering that it’s an ongoing issue where they heed responsibility (even partial responsibility), and make no effort in reparations. Trust me when I say to spend the extra money and go elsewhere to have your tires changed… because whoever they have doing this right now isn’t learning from their mistakes!

My daughter has a used car to get to work and university and a few of the summer tires and winter tires were losing a fair bit of air pressure.
I was worried about having bad tires on her car and went to Urban X. They did an awesome job. Both fast and efficient. They took all 8 tires, removed them from the rims, cleaned the rims inside and out, cleaned the tires inside and out, replaced all valve stems, rebalanced the tires and placed the winters on the car.
As a father I feel much better knowing the tires had a thorough going over. The staff were super kind, friendly and informative. They even put the extra tires in new clean bags for me to store them in.
I met the owner Bob just as I was leaving and he is a great guy. Friendly and helpful with a strong community spirit. A truly genuine guy.
I am super impressed with Urban X and indefinitely recommend them.

I had a booking for noon today with UrbanX, and was late due to a meeting that ran too long. I was contacted by phone at 12:05 and I told them I would be there within 10 minutes. They agreed to it but that shortened their time window to 15 minutes to change all 4 tires and balance them. I arrived at 12:20 and they started immediately. They were completely done by 12:37….incredibly impressive in my opinion. In this short time window, they also processed the invoice and payment.
Once again Bob, Greg and the team delivered even considering I was late. One word says it all «EXCEPTIONAL».

I had taken my car into a local body shop for some work which required removal of one of the tires. The shop staff could not locate the wheel lock key so I called Urban X to see if they had stored the key by accident from some tire work they had done on my car a year ago.
What happened next surprised the daylights out of me. The staff member professionally and politely told me that he would travel to the body shop and see if any of his wheel keys matched the design on my wheel lugs. He went there and unfortunately the keys he brought with him did not match. So he took a photo of the design and drove all the way back to his tire shop and luckily found one that did match. Once again, he returned back to the body shop and delivered the key to the body shop staff.
Problem solved.
I called the tire store and spoke with the staff and thanked them for their incredible customer service. I asked them how much I owed them and I would pay them via credit card immediately. The staff member said «No Charge». I couldn’t believe his words. So I asked again «Are you sure?», I am more than willing to pay for this incredible service but he insisted.
If you are still reading this message, this should speak volumes to the post sales service Urban X is bringing to their customer base. In addition to all this, I had some work done prior to this, and once again, they did it for no additional charge.
This company is «Top Shelf» and prove it time and time again. Thank you Urban X Owner (Bob) and your fabulous staff. I really appreciate you folks and am returning soon for another set of rubber.

This business oozes customer care, growth and success. Deserves 10 stars in my opinion. I had never been to this place before and had front tires that needed to be replaced immediately. Without an appointment, Bob had me in the shop right away to change the failing tire to the spare, found a pair of new ones in the city at another location, and had them sent to his shop within 2 hours. It took his technician 20 minutes to mount the two new ones and I was out of there…and very pleased to say the least. Bob was stellar to deal with, a realistic and very knowledgeable person and I have since ordered a complete set of new custom wheels and high end tires to boot. I would highly recommend this tire shop to anyone seeking this type of service. Fantastic all around.

I’ll be honest. My first interaction with Mohammed was great however the workmanship is absolutely terrible. I had to deal with 2 flat tires after my experience with these guys. Once was they didn’t replace the pin when replacing the tire and once the didn’t deal the tire to the rim properly. After arguing with him for a good 10 minutes and him saying he wouldn’t get me a new tire because I drove on the flat tire he finally agreed to give me a new tire. Quite a frustrating experience in all aspects.
Not only this. The also cross threaded one of my lugs and had one lug nut completely missing. Don’t be fooled by their great prices cause I learned that you get what you pay for.

I got a set of winter tires back in November. Today I found out I was never giving back my tires where still new instead i was giving 4tires that where finished and should have been toss out. I feel could have been an accide or maybe it was intentionally done.I don’t think a car that we got from Honda back in August would have been sold with bad tires. I had an amazing experience at Fountain Tire today! I brought in my seasonal tire, fully expecting to have to replace it after being told by both my dealer and Canadian Tire that it couldn’t be fixed. My dealer said I’d need to buy at least two new tires for balance, and Canadian Tire went even further, insisting I needed a full set of four just because my car is a 4×4.
But Fountain Tire came through—they patched the tire and told me it could easily last another two seasons! On top of that, the team was friendly, professional, and completely honest throughout the process. I especially want to thank Brett (Brad) and Logan for their help and excellent service.
I bought this car just last summer and have been using the winter tires since November, so fixing my nearly-new seasonal tire instead of replacing it was a huge help. I’ll definitely be coming back to Fountain Tire for all my future tire and service needs. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Fountain Tire here. It was my first visit; had a nail in my tire and a few other repair shops instantly wrote it off saying to buy a new tire. Called Fountain Tire, they said to sent a picture. After reviewing the picture they said they weren’t 100% sure unless I brought it in (given location of the puncture). After going in, they determined they could patch the tire. Within 30 minutes they were done and I drove out.
