As I am on disability from this medical event, buying hearing aids isn’t possible for me at this time. My mother in law gifted me a pair of hearing aids and I just need them fitted to me.
The hearing center at Foothills Hospital has confirmed these hearing aids are adjustable, in excellent condition and a wonderful brand – but they don’t adjust them there, so she suggested calling around because most places fit them for a «fitting fee»… I was truly excited and hopeful!
This was the first place I called this morning and they told me they won’t adjust or ‘fit’ the hearing aids for me, as it’s an «ethical issue».
An ethical issue to help someone be able to hear? I don’t get it. I guess they want you to spend thousands on their products and helping people isn’t as important as they say it is.
