This is something we’ve contemplated for several years. Gentlemen Pros were able to come and give us a thorough explanation of how and which model of air conditioner would work in our home with a detailed estimate (with no surprises). Then were prompt on the date and time we booked. They did an excellent job, explained the process beforehand on the first visit and after install did a walk through to show their good work. They were respectful of our home and the cleanup was great. They used tarps to protect the floors where necessary. No garbage left behind. Explained how to operate our new air conditioning unit and again about the regular maintenance to give it a long life. It looks very nice where it now resides. The unit is very quiet.
Richard was pleasant and informative. I am very pleased with Richard, Josh and Chris’s work. I highly recommend Gentlemen Pros for any kind of job they cover. I love their warranty and their motto. I believe I can depend on them.

Josh S. was here to fix both my running toilets. Josh arrived on time, he was very professional and knowledgeable. After initial inspection of both toilets, he explained all the options involved and potential fixes and pricing etc. He then diagnosed the specific problems quickly and took care of gathering the parts necessary to fix the job.

Given the multitude of positively rated reviews, I was initially rather enthused about contacting this company and having them come out to perform a plumbing job. However, I never received a response after completing their online form requesting a booking. So, I phoned their Calgary office after getting home from work (13 hours after completing their online form – yes I checked my spam folder). They did answer the phone after 8pm on a Wednesday evening which was jolly nice of them, however, they wanted me to stay in all day for them from 8am to 4pm. That’s right, I was to remain at home from 8am until 4pm waiting for their phonecall to tell me that they’re just 30mins away, not an hour’s notice but 30mins, so yes, I would have to stay at home waiting waiting. They were willing to narrow this down to a 4 hour window, which I figured I could manage on my day off by staying home all morning and not going for a run, however, they wanted to charge an extra $100 on top of the $89 call-out fee since requesting a 4hr visit window now made this a VIP visit. Every other trades person that I’ve dealt with has typically offered a 30mins to 2hr window without any additional costs.

Come on chaps, this is not very Gentlemanly of you, not Gentlemanly at all: this is daylight ruddy robbery. Scoundrels. You can take your wrench & shove it where the sun doesn’t shine – you might need a plumber to help remove said wrench, but don’t worry, someone will turn up eventually, sometime between 8am and 4pm, just don’t sit down is all! In all seriousness: very disappointed. Rip off artists. Amateur 🙁

Brad Croft from Mr. Mikes Plumbing + Heating was absolutely fantastic. He was super kind, friendly, and approachable. He was also extremely knowledgeable, and what really stood out was how he took the time to explain everything before and after the installation, making sure we fully understood what was going to be done and how everything worked. He genuinely cares enough to not only know exactly how each part functions, but also to explain the inner workings and the reasoning behind it all. He went above and beyond and we appreciate that. You can tell he takes real pride in doing the job perfectly and making sure the customer feels confident. One of the best service experiences I’ve had, highly recommend Brad and Mr. Mikes. Brad took care of 2 issues today: find the cause of black powder in water and toilet issues. As I wasn’t home duirng the repair, he ensured to call me at every step for approval and to walk me through the different solutions including costs for each. His communication was outstanding and the work was done quickly, cleanly and without any surprises. Always had great service with Mr. Mike’s and Brad meet my expectations for using this company.

Our hot water tank stopped working late on long weekend. We called the following day and Bill was sent out. He was punctual and very friendly.. He gave us useful suggestions and will be sending us some options to replace our hot water tank.

Davinder was great. He diagnosed the problem quickly, gave us options and replaced the faulty part with a new cartridge. Very professional and efficient. Highly recommend Mr. Mike’s Plumbing.

Catherine, Todd & Derek did wonderful work to our newly purchased home! They were friendly, hard working, and did an amazing job! We had our poly-B replaced, new drainage, and a few more things done! Our home is now comfortable and opperating smoothly. They took the time to troubleshoot and clearly communicate what was wrong and how it would be fixed. Todd was so kind to even fix some of our venting in the house. Wonderful reviews for all 3, even when the job was a bit tricky, they handled it with ease and showed up each day with smiles and warm conversation. They left our home clean and smelling nice, and prices quoted were fair. I noticed in the morning we had a back up issue in our bathroom. I spoke with Derek and he was able to quickly set up an appointment for me with Catherine.

She called when she was on her way, and I also got an automated text with her info which was a nice touch.

She quickly got to work finding the source of our issue and getting it repaired. Within a few hours we had water again.

She also educated me on a few things to prevent this and other issues going forward.
What could have been a super stressful day with a newborn, was quickly resolved.

Don’t waste your time on Clearview.

When this so-called plumbing company took $2200 off my credit card BEFORE they did a simple drain flush (which they oversold as a “Hydrojet” flush), I called PETE THE PLUMBER and asked for help. PETE informed me a sewer line flush is $385 and promptly sent their superhero plumber Jerry to take care of it.

Clearview had told us they needed a credit card number “for the file” and promptly took full payment without doing the work and without informing us. After speaking to PETE THE PLUMBER, I called our bank and alerted them to put a stop to it. When I called Clearview and told them to return our money, I got five harassing phone calls from these goons.

I called thinking I had an issue with my basement taps. When making the appointment it was noticed I had not had the free plumbing and heating inspection.
Heinz was very good at explaining what was right, what was wrong and what to expect from my furnace, hot water heater, faucets, shower taps and sink drains.
Shower and sinks are aging. I will be calling Clearview when I am ready to follow up on replacements

Quick response to request for help with a clog not going away even after using my own snake. Not an emergency yet their response was extremely quick. Yamil was polite, informative, very knowledgeable and skilled, efficient, thorough and neat. Maybe a tad expensive for the issue, but overall, great job!

John arrived within the time promised, solved our hot water tank problem quickly and got it back working. We had him give us a quote to repair another issue as well.
We were given options to choose from and signed up for the annual maintenance plan with Clearview.
He explained everything well and left us feeling we had been taken care of by a professional.

I have really good experience with ProStar plumbing and heating company. Actually this first time I have done service with them, I have my own pizza store and normally they don’t do commercial service but they have done for me.The technician guy is amazing, well trained, good communication and he knows what is doing. He gave me lots of options to fix my heat water tank at better prices. I would highly recommend for this company and their service. I would stick with this company for my home service as well.

I had a great experience with prostar plumbing and specifically Tyrone. They were able to respond to my plumbing emergency very quickly and had the issue solved in a matter of hours. Tyrone was very professional and did a great job. I will use their services again.

Today, Sept. 9/25, Daniel and Nahum came from ProStar Heating and Plumbing to deal with three pressing plumbing problems we had in our aging home. They were very friendly, very competent and very efficient in the way they went about their work. We couldn’t have asked for better service !

We had Jason come and install a new hot water tank and do 3 outdoor hose bib replacements for us. He was punctual, professional, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answer our questions and present us with multiple options. Mr. Rooter was great! I called for an issue regarding a leak coming from my ceiling , and they were at my house quickly. Barry and Jonas came out and they did a great job finding the issue, fixing the issue and then explaining everything they did to us and even things to lookout for in the future. Shane came and saved the day with a new hot water heater today. Fast, friendly and professional service. The job was done right, things were kept clean and he even did extra checks to make sure the house is doing good. Shane was very knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions. They installed a Bradford White which is a brand I’ve heard great things about. Would 100% recommend Mr.Rooter anytime.

I’ve had Thaer at my house on two separate occasions this year, and both experiences were excellent. He was informative, friendly, and very personable. After such a great experience in March, I didn’t hesitate to call him again for my current plumbing issue.

We needed plumbing services for a toilet and faucet. The technician sent, Thaer, was great. Super helpful, he clearly identified the problem and cost before beginning the work. Was able to fix both issues quickly and even quickly explained how I could fix a couple other small issues myself while he worked. Would absolutely recommend this company.

Thaer came in and fixed our outdoor faucet that had been flooding our basement. We are just renting the house so couldn’t help him with too much information about the house but he found the problem and fixed it efficiently, went above and beyond to install a valve to help us close the pipe in the winter and explained everything we needed to know about the job in ways that were easy for us to understand. Was a great experience overall so glad he was sent to help us!

Cassie and team were simply amazing! I needed a toilet replaced, and while it did not go without issues, they way this was handled was top notch and actually increased my trust in them. Pricing was good and no hidden fees, communication prompt. Cassie was sooo professional and helpful! When the first toilet was too long so the bathroom door hit against it (I should have thought of this), in less than 2 hours and without a fuss they sourced me a new one. The next day I noticed the tank was cracked in a hard to see spot, and was slightly leaking. Again, Cassie was beyond amazing, not ghosting me, not arguing, not trying to blame me, but sourced a new tank for me in under 3 hours and it was replaced. I just love how easy it was to deal with everyone, how friendly and professional everyone was, and how quickly any issues were fixed. Super impressed, will definitely keep using Pete the Plumber!

Just had my shower/tub piping replaced today. The job was done perfectly, the service was friendly, and the pricing was very fair. The plumber’s name was Steve, and he should be commended for a job well done.

We got quotes from different companies for the job, and of the quotes, Pete the Plumber’s pricing was the best. What’s more, other companies like to keep making excuses for why they need to keep charging you more money as the job goes on. But not Pete! The price I was quoted was the price I paid, nothing more! Other companies could learn a thing or two from Pete.

I don’t have enough great things to say about our experiences with this company. We used them for plumbing services a while back and decided to give them a try for our electrical needs (installing 3 bathroom fans and fixing some outlets), and they did not disappoint. We purchased in the morning, and had a brand new hot water tank installed by the afternoon. The whole install took about 2 hours and the price was super reasonable.

They showed me exactly how to take care of it, explained things in a way I actually understood, and were just really friendly and easy to deal with. They also took the old tank away, offer a solid warranty, and worked so quietly I honestly forgot they were even here.

Woke up this morning & no hot water & water tank leaking! Called my best friend owner of MKL Design who she recommends & she said Wiehler Plumbing. JP from Wiehler Plumbing came gave me my options for new water tank & what needs to be done. Keegan Smith, a technician with Wiehler Plumbing & Heating was a great help in explaining the problems with our original cooling unit and installing a new one to replace it. He was on time, quickly replaced the defunct unit and took the time to explain how the new and improved unit worked. The work was completed neatly with minimal disruption to our storage area. I had my pop-up drain assembly replaced in my bathroom sink after discussing using a higher end mechanism such as OS&B, but when I received the invoice the wording was generic with, “mechanical pop-up,” so I asked for a more detailed invoice as a record of exactly what kind of pop-up drain assembly was installed in my bathroom sink. Instant Plumbing responded right away with a renewed detail descriptive invoice. Plumbing charges in general are not cheap, so I feel that the invoice should reflect the details of materials used, not only for the customer but a record for the Company for future replacements, recommendations and etc. Thank you Instant Plumbing.

I had a sump pump fail on the weekend. I called the emergency lines for many companies and Kristian at Instant Plumbing was the only one to call me back! He offered a quick fix over the phone to stop the flooding and was I scheduled right away for an appointment during business hours. Saved me a ton of water damage. High recommend. We had an excellent experience with Tiptop Plumbing.

Over the weekend, we noticed that our toilet was leaking at the base and that there was some staining on the floor.

On Sunday, we were assisted very promptly by Makenzie. She booked us in and sent a text reminder right away

Our technician was Matthew Fulton. He was excellent. They contacted me half hour or so before arriving. When they came, they gave me quotes which I agreed to. Everything was explained to me right at the onset and after the work was done. They also identified another issue with my shower which was fixed right away.

Sebastian did a great job, I was 7hours away from leaving on a trip then discovered my ceiling was leaking. I contacted Tiptop Plumbing and they dispatched Sebastian. He ran his diagnostics and explained the problem very clearly & transparently. I approved the work and he had it all fixed within 2hours, I was able to still make my trip. Highly recommend these guys, very professional and competent technicians, I can tell they are trained and taken of well. Appreciate Kaitlyn’s & Sara’s incredible customer service even after the work was done. Very efficient and well run company indeed.

Kael was at my door in less than an hour after I contacted Tip Top. He was fast, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. When he needed assistance to lift the toilet, he was able to connect with Ray who was already finished his day. Ray came over and the two of them not only got the job done, but left the bathroom clean and tidy. Based on my experience, I’d highly recommend Tip Top.

They were able to send Rey out to my place within 3 days to get an estimate of the work I needed done. Being a shift worker I really appreciated Tip Tops flexibility with how to contact them and I really appreciated their quick response! I have worked with other plumbing companies previously who took forever to schedule and where I didn’t feel the most comfortable having them in my home but this was not the case with Tip Top Plumbing and Heating. I called for help with my hot water tank. Within a few hours they sent a technician (Will) to take a look. He was so helpful and showed me everything he did along the way. He was able to complete the job and fix the issue within just a few hours. He was so personable and easy to work with. He had an apprentice with him who was so polite and eager to learn.
